About: PLEASE READ ENTIRE PROFILE BEOFRE BOOKING I have 3 dogs, all of whom have obedience training. They can be a little much at first (training is always a work in progress) but love people and other dogs. I volunteered as a trainer for a service dog training program, and have cared for animals since I was a child. I also work with horses, so I am very comfortable working with any and all animals. We frequent the dog park, enjoy hiking, and are more than happy to bring your pup with us if you're comfortable! I crate trained all of my dogs, so I am easily able to crate your dog if needed. I am very flexible and committed to providing your pup with care that you are comfortable and happy with. I am a bar manager and go to work at 9 AM at the earliest. I can be home anywhere from 4 to 10 PM, but my boyfriend gets home at 6 PM so your pup will get plenty of snuggles in the morning and the evening. I typically have Sundays and Mondays off. I have a large, entirely fenced-in yard so your pup will have plenty of space to run and play. The entrance to the yard is a large staircase with no backs on the steps. If your pup is insecure on stairs, there is a side entrance to my yard that they can use. My three dogs are energetic, friendly, and love making new friends. It's important to me to bond with each of the dogs in my care so they know that they are safe and cared for. As a note, the dogs who tend to do the best in my care are socially confident, playful pups who like to explore.
“Chey was amazing from the start. She was quickly responsive to all my messages and questions. The meet & greet went well and Sunshine liked her from the very start! The photos she sent while we were gone calmed our nerves about using Rover for the first time. Thanks, Chey!”

“Ashley was incredibly attentive and sweet to our kittens! We last minute needed to book through Rover and we are so glad we found her, highly recommend her to be trusted with your family and house!”

About: I have been an animal lover my entire life. I've had so many dear fur babies; dogs, cats, horses, goats, and chickens. I will care for your pet like family. I am currently working only two mornings a week, so I have plenty of time to care for and love your pet. I'm a home body and would enjoy the companionship of your pet. I have a cozy environment where they become part of my home. I have a fenced in back yard where they can enjoy nature while being safe.
About: My husband and I have been dog lovers and caretakers for over 20 years. We have three beautiful, very spoiled Huskies that love other dogs as playmates and cuddle buddies at night. We also have 3 girls that adore dogs as well and like to argue over how often we take the pups for walks or hikes. ;) We don't like to keep dogs in kennels or crates and prefer them to just hang out with us all day long but have both if that is your preference or your dogs comfort zone. I work from home, so I am home 24/7, the rest of the household is home every night for lots of family time. I always want to find a place for my dogs when we have to leave them, that they are treated like part of the family. We can provide the same for you as well as peace of mind that your dogs are always treated like family! I am Working from home 24/7. Always available for updates or pictures. So feel free to text or call as much as you need! We just want both you and your pups to feel at home. Typically we prefer to allow dogs to hang out in the house but we have a dog door out to the porch where my dogs like to lounge all day. We also have a large dog run, with a second dog door out to it, so that they can come and go as they please throughout the day. If you or your dog prefer crates, we have both a large and a small crate that can assist with puppy care and crate training at night. **Please note: Fees listed do not include daily walks, for daily walks in addition to doggy day care and boarding, additional charges may apply unless discussed otherwise.
“I give Lori my highest possible recommendation as a pet sitter. She is incredibly attentive and genuinely cares for the animals under her watch as if they were her own. While we were away, she provided us with regular photo updates, which gave us immense peace of mind and allowed us to see our pets were not just safe, but truly happy and content. Her obvious passion for animals and her professional reliability make her the first person I will call for any future pet sitting needs!”

About: I was born and raised in Conifer and have been house/pet sitting for the last 16 years. I've always enjoyed assisting folks in my community to create an experience where they can unwind and enjoy their trip while away from home knowing their animals are taken care of. I've "sitted" for dogs, cats, and many more. I work from home and run my own business in the tech field. Before this, I worked remote and house sat regularly over the last decade while in a sales career working remote as well. I always try to take the extra step to make your pet's feel companionship while you're away from home. I grew up with Rottweilers, Great Pyrenees and German Shepherds and always played toss and took 'em for walks. I've managed a 9 state territory in sales, own and maintain my own home, volunteered as a firefighter, and now run my own business, so I'm no stranger to responsibility.
About: I have grown up with dogs, cats, birds, etc. all my life! Growing up we fostered puppies and kittens from Inter Mountain Humane Society. We always had two pups of our own and now as an adult I have a border collie and lab! I am home full time! Our lab stays home with me and our border collie goes to work with my husband! I love to hike, cuddle on the couch, going outside! We allow our dogs on furniture so when you’re pups are here they are welcome as well. We’ll treat them just like our own! :)
“Incredibly responsive, accepts work on short notice, and goes above and beyond. Lots of good pictures of the animals at every check in and even kept my inflatable hot tub with a leak in it blown up for me. Highly recommended without reservation.”
“Madison did a great job caring for our shy little cat, SheShe. She is often timid with people, but Madison was kind and gentle with her, and even managed to coax her out for some petting. I highly recommend choosing Madison to care for your pets, she’s so kind and she loves cats (and dogs!). Will definitely use her again for pet visits.”

“We can't say enough good things about Elizabeth! She took such wonderful care of our senior dog who is blind and insulin dependent for being diabetic...she even gave him his insulin shots twice a day. Right from the start our Jakey could sense that she was a dog lover...his tail was wagging nonstop. We knew then that Elizabeth was the right choice. We honestly couldn't have asked for a more caring and dependable sitter!:)”
About: I have been working with dogs for 6 years. I worked at Camp Bow Wow and Canine Fitness and Fun Center. I am currently being trained to become a certified dog trainer, but that does not limit my knowledge on basic dog training techniques. My passion for dogs, and animals in general, have been with me since I was a child, and it is only growing with time. I would be more than willing to walk your dog's to a specific location that you prefer, and if not, I will discover a route for us both and maybe switch it up every now and then to keep them alert and on the go. If you, the owner, need your dog's to be walked longer for energy decrease, I can take them for a run to get them leveled. I am currently working part time in evergreen, so I have plenty of spare time to watch/play with your pups! Weekends are always open for me, and Monday's are good days for me to do check ins for pups. My home overlooks Baileys mountains, and across from my home is a river and a hiking trail for off leash walking. It's a perfect little spot to hang out and swim.
“Erin was prompt and showed up on a snowy day. My dogs were so happy. I loved that she sent pics to us and checked to make sure we made it home okay. We’ll definitely use her again.”

“Great communicator. Quick to respond. Very comfortable with getting into our semi complicated ski house. My pup and my friends pups were well taken care of. Good pics of them having fun.”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Will-O-The-Wisp
Emily sent very thoughtful updates after every visit, and shared the cutest pics of all our pets. Her updates really helped relieve our anxiety while away from our pets. She took care of every step we requested for their care needs and went above and beyond with their playtime and giving them attention. My pets loved Emily. Sometimes they can take a bit to warm up to a new person, but they took to Emily right away. We have 2 dogs and 1 cat and she took great care of all 3. She had great communication and was great to work with. She is very kind and reliable. I am grateful we have Emily in our community and on Rover for our future pet sitting needs. Thanks for everything, Emily!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
