About me - my husband and I have owned two beautiful Vizslas over the last 17 years and recently lost our 2nd one. I love animals, have plenty of experience caring for high energy and senior dogs (we cared for our dogs with arthritis, Cushing's Disease, muscle atrophy). I love walking, hiking and spending time with animals. I have a large 1 acre property and spacious home. No other pets, just me and my husband. I am perfectly happy caring for one pet at a time if you prefer your pet to be the only pet with me. I have also cared for friends' pets for a long time as well but am adding my services here to the Rover community. Thank you! I work from home full time, so I have a lot of flexibility. I am able to take breaks often during the day for potty breaks and walks. I am home almost everyday, but I do go out on weekends for a few hours at a time. I can bring your pet along on hikes and picnics if your pet is able to join. I prefer pets that can be left at home for at least 3-4 hours at a time and unattended. If not, we can discuss. Crates may be needed if they are unable to roam around the house alone. I have a large property, but it is unfenced, it is far from the road and our area is very very quiet, almost zero cars. I can keep your pet on a leash for potty breaks if they are prone to running away. My house is spacious and has two floors with just the two of us and no other pets. The stairs and floors are covered in non-slip rugs for pets. There is a baby gate to keep your pet away from stairs if needed. There are extra rugs for the floors if needed (our senior dogs used to slip a lot). I also have a large deck that is fully enclosed - no exit route. Since I am home almost all the time, I can take your pet for a walk and let them keep me company at home on the couch too! I can also come over your home and care for your pet there as needed (depends on length of stay requested).

I grew up in a home with rescued cats my whole life, where caring for animals was always part of everyday life. About: I would love to foster a senior dog soon, but since traveling the last year; the next best thing is helping you with your special babes! I have a flexible schedule so I’m available to work with yours. Weekdays or weekends are both options. Last minute help is available also. About: I am a huge animal lover and have cared for my own and other people pets since I was young. Although I am a Colorado native, I just moved back to the US from Australia and brought my fur babies back with me (that's why I do not have any testimonies yet, but give me a shot and you won't be disspointed.) I have stayed over at neighbors and family friends houses with their dogs and cats. This included cleaning of the animal waste and all around house care. I have also been in charge of stopping in multiple times daily. I know and respect animals cues telling us what they need. I will always think of their safety as a top priority. I have experience providing care in mine and other people's homes. I am available to stop in when and as often as required, I am also available to have dogs and cats boarded overnight for trips. I walk my dogs daily and I am an avid hiker (my dogs will not be at the house while your animals are with me to.keep your pet safe and worry as minimal as possible). I can take small little walks or walk for long periods of time or multiple walks a day if a dog requires extra walking. My home is a town home, with a patio and fake lawn made for pets that is fenced in.
About: I am a huge animal lover and my dog, Goose, is my world. I find genuine happiness in taking care of dogs (especially if they get along with mine!) and I have Rover sat/walked several dogs in both Denver and Jackson Hole. I know how important it is to give dogs walks, love, and treats! I have spent a lot of time training Goose and I would ensure I adhere to whatever rule a dog’s owner has. I love matching a dog’s energy whether that includes cuddling with them, taking them on walks/hikes, or playing in the park. I’m a sucker for giving them treats but am VERY strict about no human food and adhering to whatever dietary restrictions they have! Dogs are my therapy; caring for them happy makes me happy. I work from home half of the week and am happy to adjust my flexible schedule as needed to ensure any dog’s needs are taken care of, including mine. I always ensure I’m aware of a dog’s walking behaviors. I never walk without a leash and do not allow them to go off lease and in a public setting until I know I’m comfortable with them. I never give in to begging for human food and always ensure I shut crates appropriately as desired by the owner. I often reward puppies with small treats for positive enforcing behavior.
About: I've rescued, adopted, and rehabbed animals since I was a young girl. I have experience with all ages, and those with mobility issues and disabilities. I am currently working from remote/from home and am done by 3 30 pm, which always gives me the opportunity to be with your fur babies all day.
