About: Hey! My Name is Natalie, and I've always loved having animals in my life. As a kid me and my family had 5 dogs and eventually we got a cat. So I love being near animals and taking care of them. My job as a sitter is to provide your animals with the love and care they need while you're away. I am very reliable, communicative, and attentive to routines, feeding schedules, and any other special instructions. I currently work at Starbucks from 1–8pm, so I’m available throughout the morning and afternoon to give your pets plenty of love, attention, and care. I’m also home in the evenings after work, so your pets will have plenty of companionship and won’t be left alone overnight. Your pet's safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I make sure to follow all feeding schedules, medication instructions, walk routines, and any other special care requests. I also believe communication is important, so I'm happy to provide updates, photos, and checkins.

About: Your dog gets a half-acre fenced yard on two acres, and a gate that opens straight onto open space and trail. No loading up in a car to find a walk, we step out the door and go. For a big dog with a real engine, that’s the whole difference. I have two labs of my own, a male and a female, both social and easy, so your dog has company and a pack to fall into rather than a crate and a quiet house. I’ve been boarding for friends and neighbors for 10, and I know what a bored 70-pound dog does to a living room, which is why exercise comes first here, not as a bonus. Good fit for: large breeds, working and sporting dogs, adolescents with too much energy, dogs who don’t do well kenneled. Not a good fit for: dogs who can’t be around other dogs, or who need to be kept separate. I’d rather say that up front than have anyone spend a bad weekend. I also offer dog walking and drop-in visits for locals who’d rather keep their dog at home. Same approach, a walk here means actual miles on real terrain, not fifteen minutes on pavement. Daily photos and a note, usually from somewhere on the trail. I work from home, so dogs aren’t alone for long stretches, I’m here through the day and the routine is built around that. Mornings start with a walk on the trail behind the house before I sit down to work. I leave the doors open so that dogs are able to go in and out of the fenced yard through the day while I’m at my desk, with a midday break for a longer outing. Late afternoon is the real hike, when my two labs go out and your dog goes with them. Evenings are quiet, everyone’s tired by then, which is the point. I do take calls during the day, so there are stretches where I’m at my desk rather than actively playing, but the dogs are with me, not shut away. Weekends are more of the same with longer hikes and no calls Containment: My yard is a half-acre fully fenced, on two acres backing to open space. Gates stay latched and I check them before any dog goes out. Dogs are never off-leash on the open space unless the owner has confirmed reliable recall and I’ve seen it myself on a long line first, otherwise we hike on leash, every time. In the house: Dogs are loose in the main living area with me and my two labs, not confined to a garage or basement. I have crates available if your dog is crate-trained or you’d prefer it, and I’m happy to keep whatever routine they already have. New dogs and mine are introduced outside on neutral ground before anyone comes in the house. Requirements: Up to date on rabies, distemper/parvo, and bordetella. I ask for your vet’s contact and a backup person who can make decisions if I can’t reach you. Wildlife: We’re in the foothills, so coyotes, bears, and mountain lions are part of the landscape. Dogs go out into the fenced yard supervised, not unattended, and I don’t leave food or water bowls outside. Nobody is out in the yard alone at dawn or dusk. If something goes wrong: I’ll call you first, but I won’t wait on a callback to get a dog treated. My work is in wildfire and emergency planning, so I keep an evacuation plan for my own dogs including crates, leashes, records, and a go-bag ready and any boarding dog is included in it if there is an emergency.

About: If your dog has a surplus of energy that makes them hard to manage, I’m your man. I’ve grown up around huskies and shelties, which are known for their energetic*ahem* chaotic nature. Almost nothing my family did would keep them from barking on walks, chewing on furniture, ripping up the carpet, among other destructive tendencies. That all changed when I started taking them for my daily runs. After getting back from a morning jog, the dogs were calm, peaceful, and obedient. It’s like magic I tell you! Dogs, like all animals, are meant to run. Oftentimes a simple walk doesn’t cut it. If you are experiencing any of the symptoms mentioned above, I highly recommend scheduling an appointment for a dog run. It will work wonders! I also walk dogs if they are too elderly to run or if that is what’s preferred by the owner. Dog sitting is also available. I have a wide open schedule as all of my college classes are online. I am adamant about safety during this time and require both parties to wear masks during the meet ups. I will additionally wear a mask/gloves during walks and runs upon the request of the owner. About: I've grown up around various breeds of dogs, cats, and a few different animals in between! I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your furry family member, and I don't take that responsibility lightly. What sets me apart is the genuine care and attention I give each pet. I take the time to learn their routine, personality, and preferences so they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you're away. I have experience with senior dogs and medication giving as well. Communication is key, therefore you'll receive regular updates, photos, and messages after each visit or walk if preferred. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply having someone keep them company, I'm happy to tailor my care to their individual needs and happy to meet you and your fur baby in advance. I'm reliable, patient, and detail-oriented, and I'll treat your pets like they're my own. My goal is for you to enjoy your time away with confidence, knowing your pet is in caring and capable hands. During the week most of my availability is afternoons/evenings and occasional mornings. My work schedule is sporadic! On most weekends when I'm not working, my day is pretty much open! Reach out with days and times and we can see if we can find a way! Unfortunately, we had to make one of the toughest decisions of letting our Sargey boy go this past June. In my heart, I am not ready to start over quite yet but would love to be an honorary dog friend! I truly enjoy getting out for some sunlight and fresh air and would love for your pup to join me or if your pet prefers a round of fetch that is perfectly ok as well!

About: I've watched pets on and off since I was an adolescent. I am a go-to for my family, watching several dogs. In my teens and 20's I would house sit the pets of relatives. I will be working around my schedule, providing availability mornings and late afternoons. I am also available weekends. I commute for work throughout the front range corridor and flexible in the areas west and north of Lakewood. I can be available to drop in on pets, whether walking or just dropping in. In either scenario, we can meet and make sure you and your cat/dog are comfortable. I am comfortable walking small and medium-large dogs. I am also comfortable with returning the dog/puppy to their crate or preferred area.

About: We have been around dogs for a very long time. As a couple, my wife and I, got our first dog in our wedding trip. Since then, we could not live without at least one dog in the house. We owned an English Cocker Spaniel, an American Cocker Spaniel, a Lab mix, a Dachshund, an American yellow Lab. We currently own a chocolate merle American Cocker Spaniel. We also take care of cats. We are retired, and available at all times during the day to love and care for your dogs and cats. We are performing our duties seriously, without skipping over anything. We are extremely careful about dogs' and cats' safety. We have medical training and on walks / trips we carry a backpack with medical emergency supplies. We like to think ahead and be prepared for any situation.

About: I grew up in a home with two dogs and a cat, so taking care of animals has always been a normal and important part of my life. From a young age, I was responsible for things like feeding them, making sure they had fresh water, taking them outside, cleaning up after them, playing with them, and giving them the attention they needed. Growing up with animals taught me that pets really are part of the family and that taking care of them takes consistency, patience, and a lot of love. As I’ve gotten older, animals have continued to be a big part of my life. I currently have my own dog and have had the opportunity to care for dogs through different stages of their lives. I’ve also lived with roommates who had pets and have always been happy to take care of their animals when they were traveling. I’m comfortable keeping up with their normal routines, feeding them, taking them outside, giving them plenty of attention, and making sure they feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. Caring for older dogs is especially meaningful to me. I had the experience of caring for my childhood dogs as they got older, and being there for them during the later stages of their lives taught me a lot about patience and compassion. I learned that senior dogs can sometimes need a little extra attention and understanding as their routines and abilities change. My current dog is now getting into his middle-age years, so I’m continuing to learn how to recognize and adjust to his changing needs as well. Overall, caring for animals has been a lifelong part of my experience, and it’s something I genuinely enjoy. I know that every pet has their own personality, routine, and little quirks, and I think it’s important to get to know each animal individually. I would treat every pet in my care with the same patience, attention, and love that I would want someone to give my own dog. I currently work part time and am a full time student. For work, I am on full days M-W 8:30AM to 5:30PM. Thursdays I work half days 8:30AM to 1PM. F-Sun I'm home full time and so is my fiancé. Once of us is always home to take care of our fur baby throughout the week and if for some reason we are not, we have 'grandparents' that are able to watch him. My schooling is self guided and completely online! From M-W I would not be able to stay overnight, however, if your fur baby needed an evening walk, I'd be happy to come over and make sure they get their evening exercise. Thurs-Sun I'm available to stay overnight as all would need is Wi-Fi to ensure I can do my schooling! I care for every pet with the goal of making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while keeping their normal routine as consistent as possible. Before caring for a new pet, I like to speak with the owner and, whenever possible, meet both the owner and their pet beforehand. This gives me the opportunity to learn about their personality, daily routine, feeding and exercise schedule, behaviors, and any special instructions. It also gives the pet a chance to become familiar with me before I’m caring for them, which I believe helps them feel much more comfortable having someone new in their space. If I were to take your pet to a park or other outing with my own dog, I would also ask that the dogs meet beforehand. Ideally, I prefer their first meeting to happen in a neutral, comfortable environment where they can get familiar with each other without feeling territorial or overwhelmed. This gives me the opportunity to see how they interact and allows both dogs to develop a level of comfort with one another before spending extended time together. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and focus on maintaining the pet’s usual routine. This includes feeding and providing fresh water, walks and exercise, playtime, bathroom breaks, medication or other care when needed, and plenty of attention and companionship. I also make sure to keep their environment clean and tidy, including cleaning up after them. When caring for pets in my own home, I provide a safe and comfortable environment where they can relax and feel at home. I’m attentive to how they interact with my own dog and make sure each pet has the space and supervision they need. I’m especially mindful of older pets or animals that may need a little extra patience, rest, or assistance.
