“so sweet and easy to communicate with!! she got along so well with my kitties and was super helpful with a last minute booking. sent us a great message about her visits and plenty of pictures!”

“Kathleen really helped us out last-minute by stopping by twice to check on our senior dog and help him get outside to go potty while we were gone for 11 hours. We came home to a happy dog and zero accidents in the house. She was communicative and flexible in coordinating timing.”

“Our cat was well taken care of during our 8-day trip. They were reliable, communicated as needed, and everything went smoothly. We’d book with them again.”

“We are traveling in an RV and had a couple of day long tours. Mishel came in to "walk" Maggie (Bicheon) once each day for about half an hour. She did fantastic and was great with her communications. Since we were in an RV we were difficult to find and it took extra effort for her to get to Maggie. I'd give her 6 stars if Rover would allow it :-)”

“Casey did a great job caring for our kittens! She came over before we left and you could immediately tell she loves cats and can read their body language. She sent many pictures of them playing and interacting with her, and cleaned up after one of them threw up. We would recommend Casey and would have her watch our cats again!”

“Looking forward to asking Donald to watch my cat again! Donald is friendly, professional, and easy to communicate with. My very shy cat was very comfortable around him.”

About: Im a lover of most all animals especially dogs. I worked at a major dog toy manufacturer for over 10 years. Became friends with a dog trainer who taught me about behaviors and the do's and dont's when interacting with dogs. Is your dog a 'fetcher', 'chewer' or 'tugger'. I'm looking to making new dog friends. I'm recently retired and all days are available. It also gives me an opportunity to get some extra exercise while having a lot of fun doing so. I am looking only for dog walking and sitting at pet owners homes to start. That may change in the future but for now that's what I offer.
“Sydney was the perfect sitter for a temperamental cat who's weary of other humans. Sydney sent us daily photos while we were away and even won Idgie over enough to take pictures together. Couldn't be happier and will definitely book with Sydney again.”

“Savannah did an amazing job sitting for our dogs. Her promptness, communication, and attention to detail were excellent throughout the entire stay. She handled our dogs with care and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. Highly recommended for anyone on Rover. We will be using her again for sure.”

About: I am a life long pet owner and animal lover of all kinds, I am trusted w friends and family’s pet and comfortable with different routines and pet personalities. I am available and flexible during the week, since I am transitioning between jobs and I can also be flexible on Saturdays. I am pretty open to what your needs require Making sure your pet feels safe and comfortable in my presence is very important to me. I like to take time for your pet to get used to me and will never force them to do anything they are clearly uncomfortable with. Before leaving a home, I always make sure they have water, they’re given a treat (I will fill a food bowl if necessary as well) and plenty of love and attention before I go.
“Sara communicated super well and sent me a lot of photos when she stopped in to check on my pups. It was a huge stress relief knowing they were being taken care of. Thank you!”
“Kayleigh has taken care of my cats multiple times & does a wonderful job every time. My elderly cat can be picky about taking his meds sometimes, but she stayed with him and helped make him feel comfortable until he finally took them. Very sweet!”

About: Hey there! My name is Sarah. I live in Golden and service the greater Denver Metro area, Boulder, and select areas in the mountains. I specialize in working with senior, special needs and reactive animals. I’ve been around, owned, and taken care of dogs, cats, reptiles, rodents and Farm animals from a very young age. I’ve had hands on experience working with all types of animal and their personalities through my time volunteering at animal shelters, working as a vet assistant over the years, as well as raising and taking care of my own and others pets. My friends and family have frequently called on me to watch over their furbabies, knowing they were safe, loved and receiving care from someone who is dependable and communicative. I was raised with the mentality that our pets are part of our family, and I bring that attitude and energy every time I’m entrusted with the wellbeing of your animals. Rover is my full -time job, so I have a lot of availability and flexibility to give your animals the love, care, attention and exercise they need! I’m fully capable of providing plenty of supervision and care while house sitting, doing drop in visits, or going for walks. I have experience with leashed and non leashed walks in all kinds of environments, including on hiking trails, in house play, and supervised time with fenced - in yards and dog parks.
“Bryce was awesome. I left out of town for 2 days, he dropped in to check on my pup a few times a day and he was so respectful and kind to my pup. My pup loved going on walks with him. He was very responsive and followed directions very carefully.”

Casey did a great job caring for our kittens! She came over before we left and you could immediately tell she loves cats and can read their body language. She sent many pictures of them playing and interacting with her, and cleaned up after one of them threw up. We would recommend Casey and would have her watch our cats again!

Brittany was great with my two cats during a recent trip. Her daily updates and pics put my mind at ease, and the cats seemed happy when I got home showing they received plenty of love and playtime Brittany will be the first person I check with next time I need a sitter

We had a great experience with our Kim! Our cat needs a daily inhaler, and she made sure he received it every day, which was such a relief and truly a lifesaver for him. She is very reliable, caring, and kept us updated while we were away. We will always continue to book with her!

Jasmin is great! We’ll be having her stay with our dog and cat while we’re away for a week, so after our meet and greet we’ve had her stop in for some walks. She’s been communicative and professional, and super loving and kind to the animals! Our sweet and nervous dog warmed up to her very quickly :)

We’ve had many Rovers do drop-in visits for our 2 cats and Makenna was by far the best! The litter box was thoroughly cleaned better than any other Rover in the past and our very shy cat warmed up to her to the point of purring!! When we returned our cats were calm and happy. We will definitely book her again!!

We've booked with Ashley before, but this was her first booking with us this year — and she handled quite a bit! She took care of two new kittens, an older cat with asthma who needed an inhaler twice a day, and a six-year-old cat on daily medication. She's genuinely great with our cats, and we always come home to relaxed, happy, and healthy kitties. She communicated clearly and regularly throughout, and sent great photos. We'd absolutely recommend her!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
