Hi, I’m Danielle—a lifelong animal lover with a soft spot for pets that need a little extra care. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, and cat care, and I bring personal experience with behavioral and medical needs. At home, I care for a deaf, disabled, and reactive Australian Shepherd, along with two cats—one with complex medical needs—so I understand how important it is to have a sitter who’s patient, observant, and confident. I’m comfortable administering oral medications, respecting boundaries, and following detailed care instructions. I’m also an avid runner and hiker, and I love getting dogs out for some exercise, whether that’s a casual neighborhood walk or a more energetic outing. If you’ve got a high-energy pup, I’m happy to help them get their zoomies out! I work full-time, but I have a flexible schedule that allows me to do early morning, midday, or evening drop-ins and walks—especially in the Golden area. I know how important it is to feel confident in the person caring for your pet. I bring a calm, grounded presence and prioritize safety in every interaction—whether that’s managing leash reactivity, securing your home during drop-ins, or recognizing signs of stress or discomfort. Having a reactive, disabled dog and medically complex cat of my own has taught me how to read body language closely, adapt to unique needs, and respond with patience and care. I treat every animal like my own and take my responsibility seriously—because I know that trusting someone with your pet is a big deal.

Danielle checked in on my cat, Juniper, for a few days and did a great job! Juniper takes some time to warm up to people, and Danielle was very understanding and patient with her. I would definitely recommend using her!

Schedule
I work full-time but have a flexible schedule that allows me to offer early morning, midday, and evening walks or drop-in visits—especially in and around Golden. I’m happy to accommodate local clients with consistent routines or occasional needs, and I’ll always communicate clearly about my availability for bookings, holidays, or special requests.
