About: I’m Casey, a student at the Colorado School of Mines studying engineering physics. When I’m not hitting the books, I love going on walks, the occasional hike, and skiing during the winter. I also love baking and even keep a sourdough starter named JJ! I’ve had 5 pets growing up, starting with my first dog when I was just 2 years old, and 4 cats since then. Because I’ve grown up surrounded by animals, I know that every single pet has a wildly unique personality, and my favorite thing to do is figure out exactly what makes them tick. I’ve loved them all—from my lazy childhood dog Tucker, who was so passive he never growled no matter how hard you squeezed him , to my cat Lizzie, who had a resting grumpy face but was such a sweet lap cat that you simply couldn't move once she sat down. I am incredibly observant and patient with pets' specific needs. Back at home in Seattle, I have a timid senior cat, Josie, who has arthritis in her knees and only drinks from the faucet until her face is covered in water. I also have a playful "dog-cat" named Lucie who loves her boxes and begs to sit on the porch in the sun, and another cat named MeeMee who will chirp at you from across the room when she realizes she's alone. I bring this same grounded, detail-oriented love to every pet I care for. Whether your animal needs a quiet companion or an active walking buddy, you can trust me to be responsible, communicative, and invested in your furry best friend! I'm currently doing research part time with flexible hours, so I'll have plenty of time to adjust to each pet's needs, whether that means a long walk/hike or some quick cuddles. Each pet is different and I'd love to learn what each one needs and make sure they get as much exercise or attention as desired.

About: I grew up in houses with dogs and have plenty of experience dog sitting as well as spending some time working at a doggy daycare. I have experience with puppies and senior dogs as well. I am currently working full time but have two days off of being completely free. Once school starts in the fall I will have three days to be able to stop by and care for your pet. I have experience with doing this while maintaining a full time job. I will let your pet come to me to get familiar and make sure they have the attention and time they need. I can handle multiple different food needs and keep track of each need. I will always take interaction at your pets pace to ensure that they are as comfortable as possible.

About: I am new to Missoula but started using rover a few months ago in Colorado. I have taken care of dogs since I was a kid and many friends and family have relied on me to watch or stay with their dog. I am extremely attentive to each and every dog I’ve watched making sure they have an easy adjustment when their owners are gone. I am currently working remote from my home, I am able to walk and care for my dog throughout the day and take breaks for them. I am a pet owner myself and understand the relationship between owner and pet and will update owners and send pictures as much as they want! I have one friendly pup to keep your dog company. We have a fenced in backyard but love to go on walks! We live in a clean dog friendly house.

About: I have 20 years of hands-on pet care experience and I've been around animals my entire life. I grew up in a household with multiple high-energy dogs, so caring for pets has always felt like second nature to me. Over the years, I've also lived with roommates whose dogs were just as high-energy, and later a cat, which gave me even more day-to-day experience with different pet personalities, routines, and needs. I have also cared for cats with medical needs. I've done drop-in visits for diabetic cats, including administering insulin injections on schedule. I understand how important consistency, routine, and a calm approach are for pets managing health conditions, and I take that responsibility seriously. My partner and I adopted a cat early last year, so I'm very used to daily pet care and know firsthand how important it is to keep things consistent for a pet's comfort and well-being. Our cat Yuzu is friendly, curious, and very social — I've made sure he's comfortable around new people and pets. If your pet enjoys feline company, they'll have a friendly companion during their boarding stay! Whether it's a high-energy dog who needs a good long walk or extra playtime to burn off energy, a cat who just wants a quick check-in and a clean litter box, or a pet who needs full boarding while their owners are away, I'm comfortable and experienced enough to give them the attentive, reliable care they deserve. I offer walks, drop-in visits, and boarding, and I'm happy to work with pets who have special needs, medications, or routines that require extra attention and consistency. Pet care is a natural part of my everyday life since I work from home and have my own cat, Yuzu. Feeding, playtime, and routine check-ins happen daily, so fitting in walks, drop-ins, or boarding for your pet is easy, and I'm able to give them consistent attention throughout the day. In my home, pets are supervised, given a comfortable space, and introduced gradually to Yuzu if they're cat-friendly. In a client's home, I would follow your routines and instructions closely, secure doors and gates, and make sure medications or feeding schedules are followed exactly as directed.
