I have about two years of hands-on pet care experience. For a year and a half, I volunteered at the Humane Society, where I learned how to read dog body language, handle different temperaments, and keep dogs safe and calm on walks. I also spent two years helping my parents raise and train our family dog, so I am very comfortable with basic training, positive reinforcement, and keeping routines consistent. Because of my shelter background, I am patient with shy or high-energy dogs, and I always prioritize safety on walks by avoiding stressful situations or unknown off-leash dogs.

Safety is my main focus because of my background volunteering at the Humane Society. That experience taught me to always be alert, double-check leash attachments, and watch for warning signs in a dog's body language before any issues happen. On walks, I keep a tight grip on the leash, look out for hazards, and never let strange dogs approach or interact with your pup on the street. For house sitting, I respect your home completely and follow all your instructions regarding security and locked doors. I stick strictly to your dog's regular feeding and bathroom schedules to keep their stress levels low while you are away, and I will always send you quick photo updates so you know everything is going smoothly.

Isabella has watched my dogs for me and has always done a great job with them. She makes sure they get plenty of walks, attention and affection. I'm pretty sure they get more attention with her than with me! She also sends pictures and updates so I have reassurance while away from them. Isabella is very knowledgable about dogs. She pays attention to personalities, health, behaviors, body language and individual needs. I've always felt completely comfortable with my dogs in her care, and they are happy and well cared for when back home. I would absolutely recommend Isabella to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, attentive and genuinely interested in caring for their pets.
I highly recommend Isabella if you're looking for someone to take care of your fur babies. Isabella stayed at our house for 2 weeks while my husband & I took a 2-week road trip with our elderly fathers; we would not have those incredible memories now if it wasn't for Isabella. She was the only person I felt I could trust to take care of my 3 babies while we were away for 2 weeks; she is so kind and loving; she's like a dog whisperer. Sadie, Amos & Ericson were incredibly well taken care of, she sent pics often & shared funny stories. I could relax and enjoy the trip, knowing they were in the best of hands. She has house & dog sat for us several times; she's very trustworthy and capable; she's an amazing young woman & the babies & I highly recommend her.

Schedule
I am currently a freshman online student at CSU. Since I am adjusting to my first year of college, I treat pet care like structured, scheduled appointments rather than trying to do everything at once. I am already used to balancing my time because I regularly look after my aunt's dogs around my schoolwork. Because my classes are online, I don't have to commute, which gives me specific windows during the day for walks and check-ins. Because I complete most of my coursework on Mondays and Tuesdays, I have limited time that I can spend with housesitting those days, I will have to return home for about 3-6 hours to study on Mondays and Tuesdays if I am housesitting.

I work best with well-mannered dogs who have basic obedience down and walk nicely on a leash, so please let me know if they have any specific behaviors like jumping, reactivity to other dogs, or separation anxiety. Additionally, please give me a heads-up regarding any special needs, including allergies, physical limitations, or required medications, so I can properly account for them and keep your pup's routine perfectly consistent while you are away!
