“Excellent caretaker for my fur baby. Linda is flexible with scheduling, prompt with responding and professional. Linda sends a picture of my dog from every walk and gives an update on how he is doing. This is most helpful and puts my worries at ease.”

“Mary is a very reliable pet sitter. We have used her twice now and each time she has shown great care for our animals in addition to her professionalism, friendliness, and respect.”

“Erik has walked my dog several times and I highly recommend him. He is very quick to respond to my last minute requests and he writes thoughtful report cards that make me smile and feel confident that my dog is in great hands.”

“Lisa is amazing with Sailor. He gets so excited to see her every day, and you can see how much fun he has in the pictures she shares in the Rover cards, particularly on the days that she brings Cooper along (her little dog). It’s great to have someone coming in to Sailor each day who cares for him as much as Lisa does. It really gives us some peace of mind.”

About: Hi there! My name is Alexis and I am so happy you're here! I have been around animals my whole life, but have never had my own until I got my corgi puppy, Odie in April 2020. Most of my experience is with dogs on the smaller side (corgis, yorkies, aussies, etc), but I'm happy to help with any size dog. My corgi is very high energy so I am used to being around pups who can be a little crazy. I can take your dog to the dog park, on a run with me, or on a long walk in nature. I am comfortable giving oral meds, given that I have done it for my pup many many times. I have experience with both dogs and cats and love both equally :) I am happy to let your pup play with mine, but if you 'd rather I give your fur baby 1-on-1 care, I can do that too! I hope to work with you soon.
“Rae is the best, and my dog loves her!! She brings water for him, and always makes sure that he is so well taken care of. She sends amazing report cards that have great pictures and detailed information. She’s clearly been around dogs her whole life. I would trust her with my guy anytime!”

About: We are lovers of all kinds of dogs! Our own dog Kodak just turned 8 this year! We also enjoy watching our friends and families dogs whenever they ask for help! Kodak is a fun loving dog who enjoys company, and we love caring for our furry friends with plenty of belly rubs, walks, and time in the backyard! Work from home full time, which makes walks and letting dogs out for potty breaks easy. We like to work in at least one walk per day, and will do more if requested. We have a fenced in yard that your baby will be able to run around and play/potty in. We have plenty of space in the house for a crate if needed as well. Our own 8 year old dog Kodak is good with making new friends and sharing toys!
“Don was amazing with my pup! He gave a great experience of adventure to her and I really loved that. He worked with her while she was with him and I love that also. I highly recommend Don for the care of your pup! My pup is usually apprehensive with men and I was happy she enjoyed her time and stay with Don. He communicated well with me and I appreciated that. Thank you so much Don :)”

About: I’ve had the pleasure of taking care of dogs and cats for over ten years. Over this time, I’ve watched all sorts of dogs and cats of different shapes, sizes, and personalities. FUN FACT: Whenever my parents go on a vacation, I watch all EIGHT of their Frenchies. I’ll take any excuse to enjoy a quick walk, so it’s not a problem at all to step outside with the dogs often throughout the day. And ending work around 3 pm leaves plenty of time to play at nearby parks if your dog wants to zoom around. My weekend schedule will vary depending on your pets :) Though the streets and sidewalks here are mostly quiet, we’ll be passing a good number of people and probably their dogs, too. I can opt for less foot-traffic heavy routes, but if your dog is super reactive to strangers or dogs, we may not be a good match. Please keep in mind that I have two small dogs. They are super friendly and enjoy chilling with other pets. Because they are a little bit older (11,) they probably won’t want to play with your pets - they kinda just like to vibe and coexist. If that sounds like your pets, they’ll get along great. But if your pets are very territorial, overly-hyperactive, or don’t get along with small dogs, we may not be a good match. If you have any questions, please reach out!
“Taylor helped me out on short notice. She walked my Shar Pei, Walton twice while he was at his sitter's. Sitter said Taylor was very sweet, and Walton enjoyed his time with her. Upbeat, good communication and loved the pics. Thank you.”

“Melina has been walking my dog for awhile now and when my cat was having some medical issues she so kindly checked on him for me before walking Bodie so I could have some peace of mind! She’s the best!”

“Angela listened to all the specifics needs are special girl Alice has and was supportive! Angela communicated well and followed all guidelines for the initial meet and meet.”

About: What sets me apart is my combination of lifelong animal experience and proven professional pet sitting. With over 20 years of personal pet care and 4+ years through TrustedHousesitters, I bring both genuine love for animals and the reliability that comes from real client experience. I’m comfortable with a wide range of pet personalities and always prioritize consistency, communication, and making your pet feel safe and at home. I currently work remotely, part-time for a worldwide sustainability consultant team. Thanks to the various timezones my colleagues are in, my hours are very flexible. If your pet is ready to play or walk, so am I. While they take their afternoon cat 😻 nap (pun intended), I work. In my experience, it's beneficial to adapt to the pet's schedule versus me trying to get them to adjust to my schedule for a few days. Overall, it makes for happy, healthy pets while giving my pet parents peace of mind. I have experience with dogs, cats, chickens and fish. I have taken care of puppies and kittens, to gentle giants, and senior ladies and gentlemen (aka still and always will be puppies). I am happy to follow the animal's routine and feeding schedule. I'm experienced with crating animals, administering shots and oral medications. I have experience in homes with parents who have severe allergies and celiac, which I respect and do whatever needed to prevent contamination.
About: I grew up with both small and large, active and lazy dogs. I currently have my own 8 year old goldendoodle that I care for I generally have open availability during the week to provide drop-in and dog walking services when you need them. Let me know how I can help! For drop-in and walking services, I would like to know what kind of needs your pet has so I can be of help. I can take them for long walks or if it’s too hot, stay inside and play, or if they just want some pets and company to make them happy.
“Lindsay is great!! One of the most professional, communicative, and knowledgeable walkers I’ve ever had. She obviously cares a lot about dogs and works hard to make sure Willow is comfortable and happy. Very highly recommended!”

Edgewater dog parents share their Rover experiences
Katie came with a last minute's notice since I was sick. She is friendly and great with communication. She was even willing to separate my pup's walk from another client's since my pup can be leash aggressive at times. Kira (my dog) came back smiling ear to ear. Katie managed to get in 2.5 miles in an hour, so Kira got enough exercise to hold her over until I could walk her today.

Melissa walked my pup multiple times/day over a couple of long work days and she was wonderful! Her communication was clear, she offered to meet my dog ahead of time, and I felt super comfortable trusting my pup with her. I'd definitely recommend, and will be using her services again in the future!
