About: * Lifelong experience with dogs * Experience with puppies through senior dogs * Experience with small, medium, and large breeds * Have had my own dog for the past ~3 years * Live a very active lifestyle * Attentive and detail-oriented * Comfortable following individual routines and instructions * Experience helping care for other people’s dogs I currently have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to be available for walks, drop-ins, and pet care throughout the week. I know firsthand how helpful it can be to have someone reliable care for your pet when life gets busy, and I want to provide that same peace of mind to other pet parents. I genuinely love being around animals and am excited to meet some new furry friends and give them plenty of attention, exercise, and care while their owners are away! I always make sure to follow each pet’s individual routine and the care instructions provided by their owner. I’m attentive to feeding schedules, fresh water, exercise, playtime, bathroom breaks, and any specific needs or preferences. I love keeping dogs active and engaged, while also making sure they feel comfortable and cared for in their own home. I’m respectful of my client’s home and always make sure everything is clean and secure before I leave. Most importantly, I treat every pet with the same care and attention I would want for my own.

About: I grew up with a menagerie of cats and dogs in my family's home, including my soulmate Jukebox (a sassy calico) who I had for 16 years and my childhood dachshund, Prissy! My husband and I are now empty nesters after our 18 year old cat Momo (also calico) crossed the rainbow bridge. I am an auntie to many pups and cats and love to be counted on by friends and family when they need someone to check on their fur babies. My schedule is very flexible, so I'm available for dependable weekday pet care that fits your routine. I love getting outside every day and would be happy to have your pup (large or small) join me for a "hot girl walk!" Whether it's a walk, playtime, or keeping your cat company, I'll make sure they get plenty of attention. Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities! I'll carefully follow your instructions and routine, like feeding, fresh water, walks or potty breaks, medication (if needed), and litter box scooping for cats. I'll be mindful when entering/leaving your home to help keep pets secure, respect your home, and provide regular photo updates so you can have peace of mind.
About: I’m a detail oriented, caretaker who treats pets like family, not just a checklist. Someone with great communication skills, a calm confident demeanor and a desire to create a bond with my clients and their pets. Lover of animals all shapes and sizes🫶 I’ve dealt with reptiles, hamsters, crabs, fish, dogs and cats my entire existence. I am currently in a hybrid travel role where 2/3 weeks of the month I’m fully remote. I am 100% available during those remote weeks. I’m an early riser and free most evenings:) I treat all pets and animals like they’re my family, think playful and nurturing! Not afraid to get dirty, build up a sweat, or do whatever it takes to make sure our furry friends (or not so furry) feel loved, and nurtured 🫶

“Excellent caretaker for my fur baby. Linda is flexible with scheduling, prompt with responding and professional. Linda sends a picture of my dog from every walk and gives an update on how he is doing. This is most helpful and puts my worries at ease.”

“Haley is great! My dog can be a bit scared of new people and she took time to meet with him before. She walked him and sent pictures and it looks like they had a great day! Highly recommend!”

“My husband met Lisa and instantly liked her. He said the dogs absolutely love her as well. She is responsible and responsive. She has been very accomodating with my crazy schedule and I am very happy to have found her.”

“Bethany was incredibly communicative and my pups seemed perfectly happy to be taken care of by her. She was also amazingly accommodating and supportive as I navigated having a dog walker for the first time, especially with one of my dogs who is a bit more anxious around new people.”

“Joel is amazing with our big lab! He takes care to communicate and post photos of their adventures. I know Gus loves his time outside with this buddy! I'd highly recommend Joel's services. 🐾”

About: Mostly all my experience is caring my pets, and friends/family. I am very in tune with my pets and other pets, sensing friendly or unfriendly pets. I'm currently retired and seeking to add 3-4 dog walking sessions per week. I will be available late mornings 10-1pm and late afternoons 4-7pm, Monday - Friday. I currently walk my 8 year old pet, several times daily, leashed around my neighborhood. He is friendly, yet cautious with other dogs. I am respectful with other dog walkers and dogs.
About: I've taken care of animals my whole life. My parents bred dogs, we had horses, pigs, cats and chickens. Unfortunately I am allergic to cats so cannot take care them. I started watching my friends and families dogs recently and my kids and I love it and want to invite more into our home❤️ I work full time but I can work from home anytime. I am mostly home with my kids and we love taking walks and playing outside. I have a fenced yard and a house that can easily be blocked off if needed. We are a few blocks from a lake that we love to walk to!
“Samantha took great care of Poppy and we really appreciate her coming over and walking poppy, letting her run around outside and giving her treats”

“Lauren is the best! Clearly looks out for our dog, adjusting schedules with plenty of communication and care for the weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Thank you Lauren!”

“Morgan is a very respectable and responsible individual. They offered to come meet out puppy before the first walk and listened to our suggestions for taking care of our puppy.”

About: Apart from loving and taking care of my family’s three dachshunds and two cats, I also have years of experience caring for other people’s pets. I have followed detailed care instructions when handling multiple dogs at a time and have experience administering medications to elderly dogs. I not only make sure your pet’s needs are taken care of, but I think it’s important to give them extra love to keep them happy and feelings safe while their favorite people are away. I’m currently wrapping up my current position and am excited to focus more on growing my art business. I’m looking for flexible work that fits alongside my creative career, which makes pet sitting a perfect fit. My schedule allows me to be reliable, responsive, and able to spend quality time with the pets in my care. Whether it’s walks, drop in visits, or overnight stays, I’ll make sure your pets receive the attention, consistency, and care they deserve. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs, so I take the time to get to know them and follow your care instructions closely. I strive to create a calm, positive environment where pets feel safe and loved while you’re away. I’m dependable, communicative, and will keep you updated with messages and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is in good hands. I also treat every home with the same care and respect I would my own.
“Jessica was incredible! She took great care of our pups and left a very detailed summary of her visit. She even went above and beyond with an intro call before her visit. We look forward to booking her again.”

About: I was the primary caregiver to my childhood dog (who I considered my best friend) growing up from age 5 to age 20. I've been the primary babysitter including overnight stays for my sister's German shepherd since he was a puppy until now well into adulthood. My husband is allergic so I'm not able to own my own animals despite how much I LOVE them, so I'm looking to get my animal fix by helping other people take care of their animals during the day when they're busy and at work 🥰 I've found myself with a lot of free time during weekdays and would love to use that time to help people take care of their pets and take them on walks, while also getting more quality time myself with cute animals!! I am a responsible and experienced dog walker who would be happy to walk your dogs around their own neighborhood where they're comfortable, or bring them somewhere new near my dog friendly neighborhood in olde town Arvada!

Katie took great care of our 19 week old puppy Junie! We were nervous for Junie’s first time in someone else’s care, but Katie took all of those concerns away. Junie got a nice long walk and tons of playtime and attention. Katie is someone that really cares about animals and is very communicative as well. Thank you!

Joey is so wonderful with my pets, they love having him around and I feel so confident that they’re being absolutely loved and spoiled with him! He always sends so many cute pictures and spends so much time with my girls I so appreciate everytime he cares for them!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
