“Amy is the best! She is extremely reliable, even in inclimate weather. I felt very comfortable having her in my home when we were gone. Our dog loved her and would wait by the door at walk time. Not only that, Amy is very personable and easy to get along with - super sweet! I would highly recommend her.”

About: I have loved and taken care of animals since I was a toddler. Large or small, fluffed or scaled, we will be buddies. I specialize in cuddles, playing, and companionship. I also do walks, baths, and am comfortable administering oral and ear medication. I do freelance work from home so I am incredibly flexible. For overnights or extended stays, my laptop can easily travel with me. My deadlines are also flexible, so your fur babies come first! Pet safety is priority #1! I always use leashes, don't provide people food, and am the ultimate master of snatching escape artists. It's very important to me to follow and enforce house rules.

About: I have been an animal lover my entire life — my very first pet was a poodle named Poodle, and I was two years old. Over the decades I've cared for dogs, cats, horses, reptiles, fish, hermit crabs, hamsters, and gerbils, so whatever your pet needs, there's a good chance I've been there before. I spent nearly 30 years running a licensed home daycare in Westminster, which means I know how to keep a structured, safe, nurturing environment — the same qualities that make for exceptional pet care. Patience, consistency, and genuine attentiveness aren't new skills for me; they've been my full-time job for most of my adult life. I recently said goodbye to my large dog and my cat, both to old age. I still share my home with Dobby, my sweet senior Chihuahua mix, who is as gentle and welcoming as they come. Honestly, the house feels quieter without a full crew of animals in it — and that's exactly what brought me to Rover. I miss having pets to love and care for, and pet sitting feels like the perfect way to fill that space while giving your fur babies a warm, experienced home away from home. Westminster has been my home for nearly 30 years, and I'm excited to serve the pets and families right here in my community. My home has a fully fenced yard with plenty of space for dogs to roam, explore, and play. I love getting outside and have several parks within easy reach for walks and exercise. I've cared for pets at every life stage — puppies, adults, and seniors — and am comfortable with a variety of needs including feeding routines, medications, and age-specific care. I'm a homebody who is fully present and attentive throughout the day. I'm up by 4:30am, which means early morning walks are something I genuinely enjoy — not just a checkbox. From there the day is structured around your pet's needs, with a balance of activity and rest. I take an afternoon walk as well as an evening wind-down walk, and my day wraps up around 9pm. Potty breaks happen as needed throughout. Your pet will have plenty of playtime, plenty of snuggle time, and a calm, consistent rhythm from morning to night. Your pet's safety is always front of mind. When we're out of the house I stay aware of our surroundings and avoid any situations that could cause stress or danger. At home, my large fenced backyard gives dogs room to roam freely without worry. I allow pets on furniture and in bed if that's what they're used to at home — my goal is to make them feel as comfortable here as they do with you.
About: Hi there! I’m Jana, a reliable, lifelong pet lover with 15+ years of hands-on pet and house sitting experience. I started taking care of neighbors' and family friends' pets when I was 15, and dispite being a full time artist, caring for animals has been a central part of my life. I maintain the upmost respect and care for your furry family members, taking special consideration for their needs and personality. What You Can Expect From Me: Frequent Updates: Daily photos, videos, and quick messages so you never have to wonder how your pet is doing. Respect for Your Home: I leave your space just as clean (or cleaner!) than you left it. Tailored Routines: Strict adherence to your feeding schedules, exercise needs, and house rules. Comfortable with All Personalities: Patient with anxious, reactive, or timid animals. Work/Schedule Flexibility: My primary job allows me days, nights and weekend flexibility to support your family's schedule I’d love to meet you and your pet to see if we’re a great fit. As an artist opening my own studio, my schedule is extremely flexible. Because I work primarily from home and can easily set up my creative work anywhere, pet care seamlessly integrates into my daily life rather than being squeezed around a rigid 9-to-5 job. On a typical day, I am available to provide consistent companionship, regular potty breaks, and structured play sessions throughout the morning, afternoon, and evening. If I'm house sitting, I can easily bring my digital work, laptop, or portable studio projects with me, allowing me to be present in your home for the vast majority of the day. Whether your pet needs mid-day attention, a strict feeding schedule, or simply a quiet co-working buddy while I work on my art, my flexible routine allows me to adapt completely to their needs and keep their normal daily rhythm intact. When caring for pets in their own home, my goal is to keep their daily rhythm as close to normal as possible while providing complete peace of mind for you. I start by strictly following the routine you’ve established—sticking to exact feeding schedules, walk routes, exercise needs, and any specific house rules your pet is used to. With over 10 years of experience with dogs and cats of all ages and temperaments, I take a patient, attentive approach. Whether that means giving an energetic dog active play and long outdoor walks, giving a senior pet gentle attention and extra comfort, or giving a shy cat space until they feel safe, I adapt to what makes your animal most comfortable. I also treat your home with total care and respect. Because I work remotely as an artist, I maintain a quiet, clean, and attentive presence in the house. You can count on daily photo and video updates, open communication, and careful attention to basic household needs like watering plants, bringing in packages, and setting out trash cans. I aim to leave your space just as spotless as you left it—with happy, relaxed pets waiting to greet you when you return.

“Evan is great! Even when our pup was a bit hesitant at first & we were all lost trying to figure out a new schedule , Evan was patient & kind. Our schedule can be so hectic at times & Evan is great at communicating availability & checking in to make sure Harvey is going to be taken care of around those times. Victoria is great with my dog and is a pleasure to work with. Very communicative and punctual. My dog adored her during our meet & greet and you can tell she has a genuine love and appreciation for animals. I plan to use Victoria's dog walking services again in the future.

Angela was great! She was very timely, communicated well, and was flexible when we needed to change our schedule. I really appreciate the attention she gave our dogs. I felt very safe with her in our house and I would definatly recommend her and will be using her again for myself!

I highly recommend Olivia as a dog walker! She walked my dog, Marley, and did a fabulous job. She was reliable, communicative, and clearly cared about making sure Marley was comfortable and happy. Marley came back relaxed and well exercised. She was punctual, attentive, and treated Marley like her own pet. It’s clear that she genuinely loves animals and takes her responsibilities seriously. I felt completely at ease knowing Marley was in such good hands. I would absolutely trust her again and recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable and caring dog walker.

Ricardo was amazing with my sweet boy Charlie. The intro was super easy and they were quickly off on their 1 hour adventure before we knew it. Ricardo saved the day by accepting my last minute request and was very flexible with the meeting location. I will definitely request his assistance in the future. He was AWESOME!!!

Grace has been so kind and accommodating with our little Luna! Even on days when our 11-year-old pup isn’t quite up for a walk, Grace still takes the time to bring her outside to a shady spot in the grass so she can enjoy some fresh air and the beautiful weather. We truly appreciate the extra care and attention she gives Luna

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
