“Grace has been so kind and accommodating with our little Luna! Even on days when our 11-year-old pup isn’t quite up for a walk, Grace still takes the time to bring her outside to a shady spot in the grass so she can enjoy some fresh air and the beautiful weather. We truly appreciate the extra care and attention she gives Luna”

“Amy was great! She fit us in her schedule last minute and was very easy to work with. She was knowledgeable about using different harnesses and sent lots of updates and pictures! We will absolutely use her again when we need someone to drop in on our guy!”

“Emily was reliable, flexible, friendly, and a good communicator. My dog Minka liked her right away! I will definitely be using her again for walks and I recommend her to others as well!”

About: I have experience house sitting both dogs and cats. I have always been very good with animals and I currently take care of my cat that I adopted 5 years ago. I will GLADLY do a meet and greet beforehand ☺️ I WILL BE IN FORT COLLINS AROUND THANKSGIVING AND WEEK OF CHRISTMAS BUT WILL STILL BE AVAILABLE FOR DROPS INS IN THAT AREA. Having a cat of my own I make sure to spend quality time with her even while working remotely. She is a very social girl and loves attention! For dogs I will make sure to feed, walk, bathe (if needed) and play with them. For cats I will make sure feed, keep their litter box clean and give them lots of pets if they like that.
About: I am a responsible young adult. I love animals. I can't walk passed an animal without giving it some lovens.. I have been caring for animals since I was a child. My family and I currently have 2 dogs, 1 cat and 1 rabbit. I have plenty of experience sitting with your babies while you are away. I have spent time with all breeds of dogs from Chihuahua's to Huskies. I am very active. I have been swimming on a daily basis since I was 6 years old. I spent 12 years on swim teams. I am a 4 year regional competitor. I have reliable transportation. This gives me the opportunity to take classes to further my education and meet my life long goal of becoming a police officer.

“Callie was great with our dog Luna. She is responsive, attentive to your dogs individuality and needs, and most importantly Luna loves her! We will most definitely work with Callie again.”

About: I have done it all from kittens/puppies to senior care. Not every animal is the same, but I guarantee they will all feel loved the same! Need overnight? Just ask and we can work something out! I work from home so if I need to let a puppy out every 2 hours, that is super easy, as well as house sitting so animals are comfortable in their own home! I can easily crate your dog if needed, if they are able to roam like mine is, I will make sure all food products and trash cans are not in reach. Along with any other potential hazzards.
“Jaime was fantastic with my pup! Showed up every day as scheduled and made sure my pup got his walk in. She always sent cute photographs too! I would recommend her to all my friends and family.”

“Thank you Noel for taking great care of our boys Charlie and Oscar. It was a comforting feeling to know they were in safe hands while we were away! And in the end, they fell in love with you. Thank you Noel for being here for us and the boys. 🙏🏻💖”

About: I’ve always loved animals and taking care of them. I’ve been sitter for neighbors and family since I was 16. I’m pretty good at communicating and asking for clarification especially when it comes to animals. Even with my own pets I’ve had to administer oral medication. My own dog is scared of loud noises and has some anxiety which I’ve helped comfort him a lot, if my animals are scared they’ve always come to me compared to anyone in my family. My schedule is pretty flexible, I do work mornings from about 7 am to 12pm other than that I am free. For housesitting, I can come check on animals every 0-4 hours. I will communicate and clarify if I have any questions. I’m currently working part time and in the mornings. So I’m available to sit after 12 Monday through Friday. I have a pretty flexible schedule. Feel free to reach out. I’ve had different experiences dog sitting. Mostly it’s been just hanging out with them and checking up on them. I’m a pretty social person and animal lover so I love taking dogs on walks too.
About: I have loved and taken care of animals since I was a toddler. Large or small, fluffed or scaled, we will be buddies. I specialize in cuddles, playing, and companionship. I also do walks, baths, and am comfortable administering oral and ear medication. I do freelance work from home so I am incredibly flexible. For overnights or extended stays, my laptop can easily travel with me. My deadlines are also flexible, so your fur babies come first! Pet safety is priority #1! I always use leashes, don't provide people food, and am the ultimate master of snatching escape artists. It's very important to me to follow and enforce house rules.

I love animals of all kinds and have experience training using positive reinforcement only. I have two rescue dogs at home and have raised many dogs and throughout my life. Angela was great! She was very timely, communicated well, and was flexible when we needed to change our schedule. I really appreciate the attention she gave our dogs. I felt very safe with her in our house and I would definatly recommend her and will be using her again for myself!

I highly recommend Olivia as a dog walker! She walked my dog, Marley, and did a fabulous job. She was reliable, communicative, and clearly cared about making sure Marley was comfortable and happy. Marley came back relaxed and well exercised. She was punctual, attentive, and treated Marley like her own pet. It’s clear that she genuinely loves animals and takes her responsibilities seriously. I felt completely at ease knowing Marley was in such good hands. I would absolutely trust her again and recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable and caring dog walker.

Ricardo was amazing with my sweet boy Charlie. The intro was super easy and they were quickly off on their 1 hour adventure before we knew it. Ricardo saved the day by accepting my last minute request and was very flexible with the meeting location. I will definitely request his assistance in the future. He was AWESOME!!!

Grace has been so kind and accommodating with our little Luna! Valerie was wonderful with my GSD! My dog can be a bit dog reactive, and Valerie was very understanding and willing to work with her quirks. She was always on time, very communicative, and sent lots of pictures. I’m very grateful to her for taking such good care of my girl and I would definitely book her again.

- 93% of walkers can help with special care needs
- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
