I'm the walk lady!
My experience with animals of all kinds, particularly dogs and cats, includes working as a veterinary assistant at two different small animal clinics, several years with a groomer, at more than one dog boarding/daycare facility, as well as numerous dog sits for friends and family. Also, I have a pre-vet bachelors degree in Animal Science. Best of all, I can't leave out the glorious years of dog and cat ownership! Care for your pet/s should be nothing less than the best, as I would seek the same for my own. My availability is quite flexible and my work ethic is solid. I am punctual, very reliable, and true to my word. One of my favorite activities is taking my dog on walks and especially going hiking, so the more energy your dog needs to burn the better! Of course, any and every pet is treated with patience and kindness, as they all deserve.

We are renting a home at this time, so although it could work just fine for some dogs, I have decided not to offer boarding availability on my profile. There are exceptions though, so it can be discussed as a possibility after I speak with the homeowner.

I was nervous leaving my lil guy for so long but Amy was great again.
Amy is communicative, kind, timely, and interested in learning about our pups’ habits/quirks so she can take care of them in the best way possible. Highly recommend her!
Amy was great! She took the time to play with bandit (and chilli 🙃), made sure snacks were available and took advantage of a meet and greet before I went out of town.

Amy is great! She’s super responsive and flexible! My roommates dog is super picky about people and immediately felt comfortable with Amy! Both dogs can be intimidating and she felt comfortable with them too! Can’t wait to work with her again!

Schedule
Currently I have no other job as we just moved to Colorado from out of state. I had been busy on Rover in all the different states we've moved to, but the last duty station in Kansas I pursued other skills/training in a different field. My husband is military, so it works well for my lifestyle to be free to offer these services with control of a flexible schedule! For 2026 I have plans to return to Kansas for longer stays to dog sit, so my availability calendar will reflect those dates.

- Knowing any medical conditions or physical limitations is important. I'd also like to know the behavioral and social characteristics of your dog. Anything can be managed or dealt with. What is your dog's personality? I have absolutely no breed preferences.
