“Second time using Laura’s service and I couldn’t be happier!!! She treats my cat like it is her own and he loves her :) I know he is in good hands when I am out of town.”

“Amy was incredibly sweet and took great care of my cat. My cat ran right up to Amy when they first met and immediately loved her. She followed all the instructions perfectly!”

About: I’ve mostly only ever helped friends and neighbors with their pets. This is cats, dogs and sometimes plants! Last dog I watched for two weeks was on seizure medication and I was in charge of medication. I follow instructions very well! And ask questions! Looking to help with evening walks or feeding! I work until 3 everyday and love to help people. I don’t have a pet right now so I want to help others with theirs:) I know I’m a stranger. I respect their house and that I’m in their territory. I listen to the client and sometimes just too many updates
“This was my first time using Rover and I am embarrassed to say, but I think Amy treated my dogs better than we do! I am afraid they won’t want me back! I am definitely going to be using Amy when we will be out of the house for extended periods of time! I loved the pictures and updates. I just hope they don’t run away trying to live with Amy!”

“Darla gave our kitties the attention they crave while we were out of town. Great communication and provided perfect care for our two cats. Thank you Darla!”

“Adyson was great she showed up on time, cleaned up a little mess my pup made, and even spent some extra time with her. When I returned the puppy was happy and I could tell she got good attention and exercise.”

“I had to alter times and our reservation a couple of times and Sydney was gracious and flexible . It was our first time working together and I hope we can do this again soon .”

“Katie was luckily available fairly last minute to hang out with our zoo and everything was great! One of our dogs has epilepsy and she didn’t bat an eyelash at giving him meds or being prepared in case he had a seizure. Definitely will book again for drop ins!”

“We recently had Noel watch our two cats and she did a fantastic job! She was reliable, communicative, and clearly took great care of them. We came home to two happy, well-loved cats and a tidy space. We'd highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring pet sitter!”

“Rachel has been our recurrent go-to for my cat whenever we’re out of town for over a year now and everything has gone smoothly every time. I appreciate her responsiveness and always making sure she sends updates for us on how Leia is doing.”

“Nicole is wonderful! You couldn’t ask for a kinder animal lover! My dog is a tough cookie and she has so much patience and a very gentle way about her. Timely and great communication as well!”

About: I have been around dogs my entire life, there has always been a dog in my house. Currently I have a 5 year old pitbull-cattle dog mix who is very quirky. I have fed, walked, and taken care of pets for my friends, family, and others. Additionally I have fostered dogs before so I am familiar with timid or sensitive animals. I have experience with dogs all sizes. I alap have experience with food aggression and reactive dogs when on walks and know how to handle it. I am in school to become an esthetician, we have all day class on Tuesdays, but every other day of the week I am available to take care of your sweet pets! While I don’t offer watching pets in my home overnight, I can easily adapt to the setup in your home. Whether that be crating, backyard time, frequent walks, etc.
“Mariah dropped in to check on my cat Stella every day while we were gone on vacation. She made sure her food and water bowls were full and kept her litter boxes clean. Mariah also gave Stella nightly wet food with her medication and refilled the treat feeder as needed. She sent photos every day and also a few notes about Stella’s behavior so I knew how she was doing. Thank you, Mariah!”

About: Stay at home doggie dad. Love all pets but dogs are the best. They are our kids and they are spoiled just like a that. They are the only thing we think about. Morning, noon or night they are by our side. Our babies. Never physical punishment but they do get time outs in their kennels if they have been misbehaving. We have a very open floor plan in the house which they run around and the back door is always open for them to come in and out. The back yard is very large with trees and shrubs that they play in and around. It is a fully fenced six foot enclosed yard with plenty of room to roam or run. Last of all no neighbor dogs to annoy them.

“She had watched our cat before and she's still great! Thank you so much for taking care of lemon, she looks so happy! Will keep booking through her as she has been perfect!”

“MaKenzie is just such a great person : ) She is very attention to details and that just adds so much comfort when I am away on a work trip for an extended period of time. I have the fortune to have her taken care of my cat since last year and my cat enjoys her visit every time.”

About: I’ve had dogs and cats in the home with me since I was a kid. I got my first dog when i was 3 (I'm 22 now!). He grew to be an old loving dog who passed away peacefully of old age! I now have a lovely border collie who teaches me patience every day Im in school full time so pet sitting for me is extra income to pay for school and whatever else I end up needing for day to day life! I typically spend around an hour or two hanging out with your furry friend! Depending on the temperament of your dog/cat I can hang out and be a cuddle buddy, or i can play!
The median cost per visit for cat sitting in Westminster is $22
Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Westminster
Carlie always takes the most amazing care of my cats when I’m away! I get detailed updates and plenty of pictures of them which puts my mind at ease knowing she’s the one watching them. She’s also able to give my cat his medicine even when he’s feeling picky. Would definitely recommend.

Sara did a wonderful job taking care of my two cats while I was on vacation. They have a pretty specific diet and medication routine, and she did an excellent job following all of my instructions. She was also great about communicating while I was away, keeping me updated and even letting me know right away about a small fridge leak so I could address it. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing my cats were in such capable hands. I would recommend Sara to anyone looking for a reliable, attentive, and communicative pet sitter!

Alexa made sure my three cats were very well cared for while I was gone for a week. She was very punctual and communicative and gave them lots of care and attention. She left detailed reports and pictures so I didn't have to worry about my kitties while I was gone.

Exceptional. I have never done care with an outside person before for any animal. Rachel was beyond kind, responsive, understanding, attentive, affectionate, and mindful of my cats. She is someone I highly recommend for any type of animals or their needs. I feel I got so lucky with her and allowed me peace of mind when I was gone. I will be booking her again for sure!

Leslie was so personable and professional. She took on our last minute request and came to do a meet and great with us and our cat. It was our first time using Rover, first time leaving our little girl in the care of someone else and Leslie was so reassuring. She was great with our cat, spent so much time with her and clearly made her comfortable. Thank you, Leslie!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Westminster. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
