About: I grew up with cats and dogs, and I have known for a while that I want a career with animals. Pets are such unique and important members of our families who deserve love. Life can be crazy, and I want to make sure pets (and their owners) get the support they need. I also have some experience caring for amphibians, invertebrates, and hoofstock. I am a fast learner and very passionate about animal husbandry. I’m transitioning into a new job in October, and it gives me some extra time for other ventures. I am available Fridays and Saturdays all day, expect for mornings on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month as I volunteer as a keeper assistant at the Denver Zoo Conservation Alliance. I am typically available after 2pm the rest of the week. I am a fast learner who is good at picking up routines, so I hope to adapt to your pet’s routines as much as possible. Strangers can be scary, but I try to emphasize that I am there to help. I take cues from pets on how to proceed if they appear stressed, as their wellbeing is my priority.
