About: I have 17+ years experience volunteering at Humane Colorado (formerly Denver Dumb Friends League). My specialty is walking fearful, high arousal, or strong puller dogs, and a dog that loves to take their time and enjoy nature is always a joy! I also foster dogs of all ages, from newborn puppies to senior dogs, and have fostered a variety of SMAMS over the years. I have 2+ years experience giving sub-Q fluids and injections, and 17 years experience giving medications to all animals. I will give your pup(s) the best care while you are away! I am a current Jeffco educator. I work M-F from 7am to 3 pm. I am open to visit, walk and stay with your pet M-F after 3pm, any time of the day Saturday, and most of the day on Sunday. I volunteer at the shelter on Sunday, so that would be the only time I would have a scheduled absence. I am open to taking them outside on leash, supervising them even if there is a fenced yard, kenneling them or letting them sleep near me if that is what they are used to.

I am a teacher and am available before and after school. 6-8 am and all evening after 3:30. I am available all weekends. “Paul is great! I decided to have him walk my pups before I head out of town in the event that there is an emergency. He was more than happy to come over a few weeks ago and meet with my pups and myself. I was surprised how receptive Oly was! She usually hides for a bit until she gets used to someone new. He topped off their water and food. I was concerned because Oly is a little neurotic and Bean has leash aggression. I forgot to mention how to use the gentle lead to Paul for my larger pup, but from the pictures he knows how to use them. Very happy with Paul and definitely will be a repeat weekly walk client. About: New to rover but not new to caring for pets. I have learned every pet is different and has their own personality and preferences. I also have learned to adapt to our aging pet’s lifestyle and limitations but make sure we still provide adequate movement and stimulation for him. I am not certified trainer - and don’t consider myself one -but was able to potty train and teach our pet a few tricks and special family words we use with him. Our 13 y/o Chihuahua is protective but friendly, he will bark a lot at first until he gets acquainted and comfortable with others around him and us. We as a family (my husband and two children) enjoy going for walks and our children are also very caring and respectful with pets. I have a flexible work schedule and can adjust to your needs. I am available also on weekends and flexible with late/early drop off or pick up. We have a fenced yard at our home and the yard is spacious. Our home is a two story home. We also have plenty of areas to walk around the neighborhood and nearby trails (Standley lake, Arvada Parks & trails, Golden, Boulder). Our 13 y/o Chihuahua is crate trained. I do not have extra crates but can use your dog's/cat's crate as needed or as you instruct.
