“Holly always goes above and beyond for our cats- she opens and closes window shades so they can enjoy the view, turns on their toys, cleans their feeders, etc. We trust her completely and the cats adore her!”

“Cat whisperer! My two Shay cats warmed up to her with one even allowing a few pets. Her kindness and ability to bond so quickly warms my heart and made this trip easier. Jordan’s communication and updates are excellent.”

“Jessica was excellent! All was booked quickly, and she was very prompt in accommodating my short time window to meet our dog and get the lay of the land. She was an excellent communicator and even vacuumed the house when our dog got it dirty (which is by no means what we asked for) she went above and beyond! Would certainly book again.”

“As first time Rover users, Becky did a great job walking us through the process. The daily pet pictures were much appreciated and made us confident that everyone was doing well while we were away.”

“Robyn helped us out on a last minute pinch with another cancellation. She was communicative and the dogs loved her. We look forward to booking with her again - next time with some more notice!!”

“Jennifer is an amazing Rover employee. She agreed to do a drop-in with little notice and moved around her schedule to schedule a meet and greet. When the day of the drop-in came around and I needed to change the time of the appointment, she was very flexible and easy-going. Not to mention, she took great care of Abby by walking her, playing with her, and making sure her water bowl was full. I will definitely be asking Jennifer to watch Abby again!”
“Brenda really cares and enjoys spending time with animals. She was amazing with our 12 week old pup. She picked up after him and made sure he was cared for while we were at work.”

“Lauren did such a great job taking care of our cat for us! She even managed to see her a few times, which is super impressive because our cat is usually so shy and fearful with new people. Thank you Lauren!!”

“Amy was very good with Gypsy when we first met and asked a lot of questions. She was super punctual and sent me cute pictures during the walks. Will definitely be using Amy again!”

“Lali is amazing and incredible at what she does. My super shy shelter cat warmed up to her right away and definitely missed her after. Lali is also extremely communicative, thorough, and reliable. We felt like our cat was in great hands and would definitely book her again!”

“Megan was a great communicator and made us feel at ease while away on vacation. I’m sure our dog was just as pleased with her as we were. Will be recommending and hiring again.”

“Martyna did a great job! She was punctual, communicative, and gave my pets lots of love while we were away. We really appreciated all the updates and photos. We came home to happy pets, and it was clear they had been in great hands! Looking forward to having Martyna watch our pets again.”

About: Hi there! All my life I have been an animal lover and for the last 8 years I have raised my own dog, and taken care of other dogs for families I used to babysit for. I can fit in any lifestyle your pet has, whether they are active or a stay-at-home. I can fit any accommodation as I work from home, love to exercise (so your dog would get plenty of it, if need be), and I'm incredibly flexible and will be normally free to help you more than not. At the same time, I raised my dog since she was a puppy so I do have experience with younger, more energetic dogs and overall I would simply love to help and treat your dogs like family. I hope we can talk soon! I'm super flexible and work from home at the moment so I basically can take care of your dogs whenever you may need it. I will certainly be more free for your dog rather than not! I will care for your pet in your home however you see fit. I do what is asked and can fit any accommodation whether your dog has a lot of needs, or simply needs a walk and some playtime. I'm happy to help however it may be!
“Sasha is so helpful, and has been so good with both of my dogs one of whom struggles with strangers at times. She takes good care of all my animals and is clearly kind and loving with them. Will definitely continue booking with her!”

“Absolutely stellar kitty care. Nice updates, lots of photos, and she also brought my boxes in and tidied up the cats’ space and litter boxes. Flexible and super quick to respond. She also left some magnets of my kitties for me :)”

“Dan is amazing with my senior shih tzu! I couldn't ask for a better sitter. He was kind and gentle and even took Willie for a stroller ride. We're looking forward to having Dan hang out with Willie again soon.”
“Danielle was fabulous with our cat Nala!! Took care of her so well and provided so many lovely photos while we were away! She answered so quickly and got there at the provided hours :) I can’t recommend her enough! She’s so friendly and excellent with communication. Had some last minute maintenance issues and she helped us move some things in our apartment with no sweat! 10/10 would book again!”

About: I have been a dedicated animal caretaker since my childhood beginning with my first pet, Spot a labrador retriever. Today I combine that lifelong passion with professional discipline as a current Denver Zoo volunteer and a recent graduate in Evolutionary Biology and Ecology. My background allows me to provide expert care for pets of all breed and life stages, from high-energy puppies to seniors with specific needs. I am committed to maintaining a safe, enriched, and reliable experience for your pets, applying the same high standards of well-being I use at the zoo to your own home. Pet care for me fits well within my schedule as my shifts at the zoo are flexible. This allows me to dedicate time to your pets for long walks, check-ins, or attentive house sitting. I'm available to ensure your pet maintains their consistent feedings, exercise schedule, or other needs. As a volunteer at the zoo and an EBIO graduate, I follow professional and strict safety protocols in my home and yours. I have a large condo allowing some space for your pet to roam, but I am very active with the outdoors thus fulfilling enrichment to hyper-active pets. I am habituated to monitor animal behavior closely, double-checking harnesses and leashes whenever going on walks, and ensuring a safe environment that meets high standards of well-being.

Brenda is a thoughtful, caring, and communicative host! We love when she is available to see our cats during our trips, it feels like they do too! She treats them the way we treat them and we can tell a difference in their comfort when she has come to see them - they are team Brenda and so are we!

Curtis was a great cat caretaker. Our cat is usually leery of strangers, but he took immediately to Curtis. It was so nice to see his daily close-up photos and to hear about Izzy being playful and cuddly with him. Very reliable and communicative. Highly recommend
Wow! Becky is truly a top tier and trustworthy pet sitter! She is extremely organized and her unmatched experience was evident from the initial meeting. Becky followed all my provided instructions and arrived on time for every visit. She provided updates, photos, and messages about my cat's litter box habits, which gave me complete peace of mind on my international trip. The house was exactly as I left it and it was clear my cat was treated with kindness and attention upon my return. I couldn't be happier with the care my cat received! I would absolutely recommend Becky for any pet care needs and look forward to booking again!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Superior. On Rover:
- 93% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
