About: We had a Black Lab for 14 years and we loved her. My kids are so excited to play and care for an animal. We are a very active family. We love to take walks, hikes, go on runs, but most of all we LOVE cuddling with animals. We have dog puzzles to challenge your pets, we have a giant field behind our house if your pet enjoys fetch, and we love working on teaching animals tricks. I am a nurse and I have experience giving animals injections and medications. They will be well cared for and given lots love. I only work a couple days a week and will be happy to have a companion throughout the day. Your pet will have lots of attention and care throughout the day. We have a fenced in yard and two kids that are very excited to play with your pet. We also have a big field behind our house for playing fetch and we love going on walks or runs if your pet enjoys running. We also have pet puzzles to challenge them mentally.

I know how hard it can be to leave your pet with someone new, so I treat every animal in my care with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own. I’m a retired RN (Registered Nurse), Wilderness First Responder, human and pet CPR certified. I am responsible and attentive so your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I’m also comfortable administering medications if needed and carefully follow your pet’s specific care instructions. Over the years I’ve had experience with many different animals including dogs, cats, birds, snakes, gerbils, mice, hamsters, fish, lizards, bunnies and chinchillas, so I’m comfortable caring for a variety of pets and their unique needs. I’m also an avid hiker and love being outdoors, so if your dog enjoys longer walks or even hikes, I’m happy to include that in our time together. If your pet prefers a slower pace, I’m just as happy relaxing with cuddles and calm companionship. My schedule is very flexible. Being semi retired allows me to accommodate your pets schedule with ease. A detailed list of your requests/needs can always be met. When your pet stays with me, they’ll be treated like part of the family. I focus on creating a safe, calm, and loving environment where your pet can feel comfortable and relaxed while you’re away. Each day includes walks, playtime, affection, and plenty of attention, tailored to your pet’s energy level and routine. For dogs that love the outdoors, I’m always happy to include longer walks or hikes. For pets who prefer a slower pace, we’ll enjoy relaxing time, cuddles, and gentle strolls. I carefully follow your pet’s normal schedule, feeding routine, and any special care instructions, including administering medications if needed. My goal is to make their stay feel as familiar and stress-free as possible. If I’m Staying in Your Home If you prefer your pet to remain in their own environment, I’m happy to house sit and care for them in your home. Many pets feel most comfortable staying in their familiar surroundings, and I work hard to maintain their normal routine so they feel secure while you’re away. During house sitting visits, your pet will receive lots of attention, walks, playtime, and companionship, just like they would if you were home. I treat every home with great respect and care, keeping things tidy and following any instructions you provide. You’ll also receive regular updates and photos, so you can see how your pet is doing and have peace of mind while you’re away.

About: I began caring for dogs in 2018 when I became a volunteer at an animal shelter (Old Drum, Kansas City) and additionally at a wildlife rescue facility (Lakeside Nature Center, KC) where I performed medical aid in their hospital (turtles, bunnies, birds, etc.). Currently I volunteer at LuvinArms in Erie whenever possible, and of course care for/spoil my two rescue dogs, Nala and Mipso! I’m currently a graduate student and teach creative writing courses at CU. This means about 85% of my time is spent at home with my own two pups. During spring and fall semesters my schedule is pretty flexible (usually only leaving three-four hours at a time) and even more flexible in the summer. Your dog has free range of our home and all furniture, unless it’s not preferred (our dogs lay on the couch and sleep in our bed). While there’s no fenced yard, there is a large open space/trail area right behind our place, along with a fenced dog park two minutes away. We love running and hiking!

About: I work in technology and business roles, but have also been a professional pet care provider for the last 12 years. I have always loved animals and discovered working with animals was very rewarding. When I am not performing pet care services I can be found volunteering at my local shelter. I was nicknamed "the dog whisperer" by the shelter staff because I was able to bond with shy, aggressive, and otherwise troubled dogs that did not know how to trust humans. I even rescued a Chiweenie named Nellie. After working with her for months and not seeing her being considered for adoption due to her untrusting nature with strangers, I knew she needed extra attention. Pretty soon we were inseparable and I knew she would be coming home with me. I look forward to meeting your beloved pet and can promise that I will treat them as my own. I work full time remotely in a business consulting role, but have flexible hours, so I can accomodate requests any time of day or night. I have a lot of grassy park areas right outside my door and have 1 small fur baby of my own that would love to show your dog around the neighborhood.

I've always had a dog in the family, since i was 1 month old, and until now have never lived without one. I've had Labrador Retrievers, Dobermans, Collies, Pitbulls- so plenty of experience with strong personality and physically strong dogs. I've raised dogs from puppies to past 16 years old- I have experience with the energy of a puppy and the patience for the elderly. Whether it's long walks, hikes, belly rubs, or just keeping them company, I make sure every pet feels safe and happy. I work from home full time, which means I'm around and available for plenty of walks, playtime, and cuddles throughout the day. I can easily adjust my breaks to fit your pet's routine. I am an early riser to likes to enjoy most of the daylight. After work hours I'm typically out of the house for no more than 3 hrs at a time. On weekends, i like to get outside as much as possible and would love to include your dog on my walks or hikes. While i do not have a yard, I have a large 2 car garage that can be used for play. My development has an onsite dog park that can be used if your dog is friendly and responsive in park settings. I have a spare dog crate and can crate the dog as needed when I am not home.

About: I've had pets of many species my entire life. Dogs, cats, snakes, horses, and some farm animals. 13yr Mali mommy from pup to death. Our guy just passed last summer from cancer so I've had quite a lot of experience with administering medication and senior incontinence. He was also military trained and service certified as a pup. I currently freelance so I have a lot of free time on my hands. Basically flexible any day. Im a night owl though, so mornings are tough unless im house sitting. I prefer to care for pets in the owner's home, but can make accommodations for well-behaved and well-trained pets that get along with cats. We have my brother-in-law's cat at home, and the queen is particularly about sharing her space. I'm available for Daytime and Overnight sitting, or just pop-ins for play dates and walks.
