As a lifelong dog owner, I’m comfortable with a wide range of temperaments and needs, from energetic puppies who benefit from consistent routines and basic training reinforcement to senior dogs who need a gentler pace and extra attention. With no other dogs currently in the home, your pet gets personalized care, close supervision, and a low-stress stay that feels like a true home away from home. I have a very flexible work schedule, work from home often. I have two dog-loving kids in this home and have been dog sitting since they were babies. Our family dog now lives at their other parents home (post-divorce) and I am not quite ready for another full time dog. I LOVE dog sitting and having canine energy around here. I have a giant fenced yard, a pool with a locking cover, and the back gate leads to 20 miles of trail. I do daily walks, sometimes 2x a day. I have a dog door that allows the dogs to go in and out freely- and also can lock off the door if there needs to be a restriction for going outside. I offer dogs to get comfy on our couch and our bed, however can also keep pets off furniture if that is what is preferred in your home. I have done kind and fear-free training with my dogs in the past to help with voice recognition and control on the leash.

About: Hello! We’d love to spend time with your pet! We’re a bunch of animal lovers over here with a super energetic blue heeler named Kai. He gets along great with dogs, cats, and even exotic pets! Our roommates have a calm cat who’s also great with pups. We live in a friendly dog apartment complex with a paved trail, perfect for walks. We spend a lot of time walking around trails and love hitting up the dog park when it’s not too crowded. Your dog(s) are welcome to join us for some fun on the trails, a stroll around the block, or just hanging out. They’ll be spoiled with love and treated like one of our own! We love taking pictures of our adventures and would be happy to send you updates while you’re away, if you’d like. We’ve been pet-sitting for over four years now, not just through Rover. We’re comfortable with dogs, cats, reptiles, and other exotic pets—if you have any exotic pets to take care of, we can do that too! We’ll follow your instructions carefully because we respect what you and your pets need. Kayla has training experience with her dog, including obedience and special commands, so we’ll make sure to keep up with yours too. We’re also experienced in giving oral and topical meds, whether it's a daily or monthly thing. ***We want to create a safe and comfortable environment for all our furry friends, so we’re unable to accept dogs that exhibit reactivity, aggression, or excessive barking. We kindly ask that our canine companions be at least 2 years old to join us.*** Kayla works weekdays from 5 pm to 9:30 pm and Saturdays from 2 pm to 9:30 pm, while Kyle works 6 pm to 6 am with a few days off each week. Our routine includes a morning walk, breakfast, and playtime or rest. During the day, we take them out for potty breaks and more play or relaxation. In the evenings, Kyle feeds and takes them out before his shift if it’s one of his workdays on Kayla’s workdays. We also do a short evening walk and one last potty break before bed. We have an unfenced yard; however, we do have a long leash that allows your dog to roam around. We often take the dog(s) to the dog park, which is fenced, if they need a safe place to play. My dog is friendly and doesn’t pay much attention to other dogs, but he is getting older, and young pups with tons of energy can sometimes irritate him. We’re more than happy to use a crate if you provide one for any reason. We live in an apartment, and our entry doors open into the hallway instead of outside, which is great for a dog who is an escape artist.

About: Hey! I am a lifelong animal lover who for the first time in my life am without my own resident dog. I've always had a dog in the family, since i was 1 month old, and until now have never lived without one. I've had Labrador Retrievers, Dobermans, Collies, Pitbulls- so plenty of experience with strong personality and physically strong dogs. I've raised dogs from puppies to past 16 years old- I have experience with the energy of a puppy and the patience for the elderly. Whether it's long walks, hikes, belly rubs, or just keeping them company, I make sure every pet feels safe and happy. I work from home full time, which means I'm around and available for plenty of walks, playtime, and cuddles throughout the day. I can easily adjust my breaks to fit your pet's routine. I am an early riser to likes to enjoy most of the daylight. After work hours I'm typically out of the house for no more than 3 hrs at a time. On weekends, i like to get outside as much as possible and would love to include your dog on my walks or hikes. While i do not have a yard, I have a large 2 car garage that can be used for play. My development has an onsite dog park that can be used if your dog is friendly and responsive in park settings. I have a spare dog crate and can crate the dog as needed when I am not home.

Would love to hang with your dog inside, take them hiking, on a walk, or just chill with them. I'm flexible and can work with you in your home or mine. I've lived in the Boulder area for 20 years and am happy to help you, your family, and your dog in any way I can. I am also happy to care for your beloved cat, although I can't host in my home, I would be happy to look after them in yours. I'm currently working from home, pivoting in my career, and have a very flexible schedule. I'm available on weekdays and weekends, days and overnights. Can only host smaller dogs at my apartment currently, or I'm happy to take care of them in yours. I wouldn't feel right cooping up a larger dog at a smaller place. If I'm caring for your dog at my apartment, my neighborhood has 26 miles of walking paths that are perfect for a short, or very long walk, whichever your dog prefers. I live in a large 3-bedroom apartment with plenty of indoor space for dogs to move around, relax, and play comfortably. The building includes a luxury pet wash area and two on-site dog parks, making it easy to provide both cleanliness and exercise. Pets are welcome on all furniture unless otherwise specified by the owner, so they can feel at home and comfortable. I also have a well-trained 5-year-old Australian Shepherd who is friendly. She can provide companionship and playtime for social dogs, while I always ensure interactions are safe and appropriate based on each pet’s temperament. Pets will never be left alone together!!

About: My husband and I work remotely five days a week, and at least one of us is always around the house in the evenings, outside of regular work hours. We also have a spacious fenced-in backyard that has easy pet door access. Because of our setup, we can always keep an eye on your pet and keep them engaged, safe, and happy (both of our home offices overlook our backyard). Both of us had many pets growing up—from Schautzters to Australian Shepherds to Welsh Corgies—and today we have our goofy, energetic Border Collie (Bennie) and our cat (Sebastian). Because we only take one dog at a time, your furry friend will get plenty of one-on-one attention, walks, playtime, and supervision throughout the day. We also live very near a great open space for dogs that Bennie loves to walk to. We never leave Bennie alone for more than a few hours at a time and try our best to avoid it altogether. We will absolutely extend the same—if not better—to your pet. We prefer dogs that are cat-friendly and generally well-behaved. The cat has his own fenced-off section of the house, but he roams free. We’re happy to follow your dog’s routine and will be happy to keep you updated with many photos and messages! My husband and I work remotely from home, so we have lots of availability for dog sitting/boarding! We are always around the house and will be available to be contacted throughout the stay. Our home has a big fenced-in backyard with an easy-access pet door. Bennie (our dog) spends most of his day outside but has full access to food and water inside. We can always accommodate if you'd prefer more restricted access for your dog. One of us is always home, so your dog will have plenty of supervision and care. We love dogs and understand how difficult it is to leave them with a stranger, so we will do absolutely everything in our power to make you and your pet feel comfortable and communicate with you as much as you prefer.
