About: Hi! I'm a dependable and passionate pet sitter with a lifetime of experience caring for animals. I grew up around both high-energy dogs and elderly dogs needing extra assistance. As a pet lover myself, I understand the importance of regular exercise, patience, and lots of playtime. Whether your pet loves long walks, outdoor adventures, or simply relaxing at home, I'm happy to match their unique personality and routine. For the past four years, I've provided dog walking, house sitting, and pet care for friends, family, and clients, giving me experience with pets of all ages, sizes, and energy levels. I know how important it is to have someone you can trust with both your pets and your home, and I treat every animal with the same care and attention I'd give my own. While I have extensive experience with dogs and cats, and am open to pets of all origins. My goal is to make sure your pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away, giving you complete peace of mind. Aside from needing to care for my own dog, my schedule is essentialy entirely free for the remainder of the summer. I have no issue waking up for early sunrise walks, to late night strolls at any hour. My schedule is highly malleable l, and made to fit for the best possible care no matte the occasion! I know how important it is to trust someone with both your pets and your home. My goal is to provide a calm, safe, and familiar environment where your pets can feel comfortable while you're away. I take the time to learn each pet's routine and personality, ensuring they receive the care, attention, and exercise they're used to. I'll also keep you updated with regular messages and photos, so you can have peace of mind knowing your pets are happy, healthy, and in good hands.
“Thank you so much for being such a good friend to our pets. We're sorry to be moving away - Bruno, Enzo and Micki, especially - but if we come back to the area, we'll be sure to find you!”

“Krista is the type of human you just instantly trust with your animals. She is warm, friendly, and showed strong responsibility and organization with our booking requests. We’re excited to have her as our weekly walker! :)”

“Jennifer is wonderful! Clearly loves dogs, responsible, communicative and an incredible help. We’ve thoroughly enjoyed getting to know her and having her walk our dogs regularly. She’s good at creating boundaries with the dogs when it comes to jumping up in excitement, etc. Highly recommend her for anyone looking for a top notch dog walker!”

“Becky has helped us out with walking Clayton & taking care of Binx on numerous occasions. She is always amazing with Clayton & Binx and takes excellent care of them. She is very responsive, reliable, & so sweet!!”

About: Dogs are the best! The love they give us is unlike any other. I started taking care of dogs in my teens, and have done it personally and, on and off professionally, for the last 40 years. Would love to hang with your dog inside, take them hiking, on a walk, or just chill with them. I'm flexible and can work with you in your home or mine. I've lived in the Boulder area for 20 years and am happy to help you, your family, and your dog in any way I can. I am also happy to care for your beloved cat, although I can't host in my home, I would be happy to look after them in yours. I'm currently working from home, pivoting in my career, and have a very flexible schedule. I'm available on weekdays and weekends, days and overnights. Can only host smaller dogs at my apartment currently, or I'm happy to take care of them in yours. I wouldn't feel right cooping up a larger dog at a smaller place. Please just let me know how I can help. I'm happy to care for your pet in your home or mine, whichever is most comfortable for you. I can do overnights or day visits/walks at your home. If I'm caring for your dog at my apartment, my neighborhood has 26 miles of walking paths that are perfect for a short, or very long walk, whichever your dog prefers. I also have a great balcony and bay window for squirrel watching. I'm an animal lover and give out a lot of love and positivity.

“Dahlia is always so insanely happy when she gets to see Christina and it makes me so happy to know my dog is with someone who adores her and lets her be herself. I’m so happy to have met her and that Dahlia gets to have an adventure whenever I’m working my long days.”

“Michelle was amazing walking/hanging out with our two dogs at the last minute. Super communicative and professional and is a real-deal animal lover, really gets how much we love our fur babies. Will rebook.”
About: Attention to detail and my availability will lead to satisfied clients. I’m also pretty fit and can keep up with some of the more agile dogs. I have a flexible schedule so adding this will be a great fit. Plus, I’ll enjoy spending more time with animals, a life goal of mine. I will take care of animals in their home according to the details left by the owners. I will clarify all questions with said owners

About: You know when you’re out in public and your dog unexpectedly rushes straight over to say hi to a random (specific) person then needs to be physically pulled away even after they got the attention they wanted? For some reason, I’ve always been that random but specific person. Sometimes it feels like dogs suddenly materialize in front of me or like their “hello” is really more of a “it’s about time you got here!” Dogs (and cats, for that matter) also tend to insist on cuddling up next to me instead of their usual pick when I visit their homes (and I’m certainly not complaining). I currently only have cats, but I grew up with three dogs (a chocolate lab, a miniature schnauzer, and a Pomeranian) and have learned how to love both in the ways they want me to love them. What I love most about dogs is how pure they are. We all appreciate their undying loyalty, of course, but the sweet, unconditionally caring emotional presence that dogs carry themselves with is one of the things that makes life worth living. I consider non-human animals to be people too, and dogs are definitely among the best non-human animals. I would be just as excited as your dog(s) would be to make a new friend! My availability is flexible in general but particularly in terms of the time of day. I have a circadian rhythm difference that makes my sleep “schedule” change throughout each week, so if I’m given sufficient notice (48 hours), I’m easily able to modify my waking hours if your pet has time-sensitive needs. As mentioned in my bios, animals seem to naturally see me as a Disney princess. However, even though I’m very confident that I’ll get along with your pet(s) without any issues, their friendship is theirs to give, not mine to demand. Their needs are my top priority (and would be even if I weren’t petsitting); I recognize that some animals need lots of time and space to truly feel safe, and giving them that time and space is the only way to create a mutually comforting environment. Even if your dog/cat actually is insatiably social and unfailingly affectionate, I want to be sure that I get an idea of any individual boundaries or strong preferences beforehand so that I’m able to treat them with the same respect and care that I would a human person. As far as dogs and cats that want lots of love and affection, I am happy to give and share it! My cats sleep with me most nights and I often have one on my lap or next to my leg throughout a given day. Either way, I’ll follow your pet’s lead.
About: Have had multiple dogs for my entire life, completely understand how much pets are a part of the family, and will treat them as my own while you are away. I work full time, however have always loved taking care of pets. As I am work from home a majority of the week, I will be able to take care of them with great care. Although I live in an apartment, there are accessible places to go to the bathroom and there are numerous trails just a short walk away.

Always let me know if your pet needs any specific care :) currently available any day and any time. Currently unemployed. Just moved to CO and have open availability! Open to boarding, staying, or drop ins. I love caring for animals and love to give them some love when their parents are away or working a long day! For my home, I have a back yard as well as plenty of space for play and do not mind dogs on furniture. I will always keep a good eye on them and take them out for a walk around my neighborhood. If I am visiting your home, I will be respectful and communicative to take the best care of your pet.
About: I’ve had hands on experience caring for animals my entire life. I grew up in a household with both dogs and cats, so I’m very comfortable with daily routines like feeding, walking, playtime, and general care. I’ve also helped care for chickens for a couple of years, which gave me additional experience with maintaining consistent schedules and attention to detail. Over the years, I’ve regularly helped friends, family, and neighbors with their pets. Whether that’s walking dogs, checking in on them while owners are away, or making sure they get the attention and exercise they need. I’m confident handling different energy levels and personalities, from more relaxed pets to those that need extra activity and engagement. I always prioritize safety, follow owner instructions closely, and make sure pets stay on their normal routines, including proper feeding (no people food unless specifically approved). My goal is to make sure your pet feels comfortable, cared for, and happy while you’re away. My schedule is very flexible right now, and I’m available most days throughout the week for walks, drop-ins, or extended care. With a lighter work schedule during the off-season from skiing, I have plenty of time to give pets the attention, exercise, and consistency they need. I enjoy staying active, so I’m always happy to take dogs out for walks, longer outings, or just spend quality time with them during the day. I’m also available for last-minute bookings and can adapt to your pet’s routine. I’m looking forward to spending my days with some furry companions and making sure they’re well cared for while you’re away. I prioritize safety, consistency, and making pets feel comfortable in their environment. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow all instructions closely, including feeding schedules, exercise routines, and any specific rules you have in place. I make sure doors, gates, and leashes are always secure, and I keep a close eye on pets during walks and outdoor time. I’m respectful of your home and aim to keep everything clean and just as you left it. I also provide regular updates so you can feel confident your pet is safe and doing well. If caring for pets in my home, I make sure the environment is clean, calm, and pet-safe, with plenty of space for them to relax. I supervise interactions, stick to your pet’s routine, and ensure they get the right balance of activity, rest, and attention. Above all, I treat every pet like my own while maintaining the structure and boundaries that keep them safe and healthy.
About: I have been sitting through Rover since 2021 and have truly enjoyed spending time with so many pets! I've sat big dogs, little dogs, cats, fish, and sugar gliders! I feel that through Rover I have excelled in adapting quickly to a variety of pet's needs. I’m currently living in the Boulder/Longmont Colorado area and am open to book sits around north Denver. I just moved here from Orlando Florida. When I lived in Orlando, if I had spare time, I liked to drive rescue transports for ORCA, Greyhounds in Motion, and Orlando Pet Alliance. If you have suggestions of rescue transports I can drive for in the northwest Denver area please let me know! My current work schedule is working remotely, so for any house sit requests, please ensure there is space for me to set up my laptop and take work video calls. I’ll have studying to do in the evenings and on the weekends so your pets can keep me company while I do schoolwork ☺️ I'm good at adapting to you and your pet's needs! I'll give them love, care, and attention if they want it, but will respect them if they prefer not to be pet (we all know those cats 😄)
About: I’ve been taking care of pets (from dog-sitting, to dog-walking, to simply caring for my own dog daily) my whole life! I grew up with a big 110 pound lab and have always been a dog lover! I have supported many people throughout my community such as family-friends, co-workers, and people here on Rover by walking, feeding, and playing with their pets while they’re gone! I always make my goal to help make your pets as comfortable and happy as possible while you are gone! I’m home in Colorado for the summer, working at a clinic, which should allow me to take your pups out in the morning, during my lunch break and at night after work! It will also allow me to spend the night and make sure your dogs are safe and comfortable! I love playing outside with dogs, whether that entails going on a walk or playing fetch in the backyard! I will also prioritize making sure that your pet is safe and happy - meaning I’ll feed him/her on time, take them on good walks to help get their energy out, and can put them in crate if that’s what you usually do! I am very flexible and want to keep a stable environment for your pet!
About: I’ve had dogs in my life for as long as I can remember, and I’ve never met a dog that doesn’t love me and that I don’t love. My rates are flexible- just let me know and we can work together to figure it out! If there are other small pets in your home I’m happy to care for them as well, I have experience with tons of small animals, from chameleons to chinchillas! I am a full-time medical assistant monday through thursday, so I typically will only take overnight jobs over the weekend in order for me to be able to spend as much time with your fur baby as possible and for my work schedule to not interfere with their care. I will make sure your pet gets lots of love and affection while you’re away. I will play with them and walk them as much as needed.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Superior
I debated about leaving this review because I honestly wanted to keep Jordan to myself buuuuuut..... that would be unfair to Jordan so, here it is. Our girl Nova is a pit bull, and if you have one, you know. She's strong, she's energetic, and she does NOT warm up to just anyone. We had booked Jordan for a two-week house sit and he came by for a meet and greet beforehand. I'll be honest, I was a little nervous — Nova can be picky. But she took to him right away. Like, immediately. My husband and I both looked at each other like, okay, this is our guy. Then life happened. We had a family emergency and had to cancel on Jordan last minute. He was so understanding about it, no awkwardness, no attitude, just kindness. That really stuck with me. And THEN — still in the middle of everything — Nova ended up alone at home longer than we'd planned. I reached out to Jordan basically in a panic and he showed up for her without hesitation. Knowing she was in good hands while we were dealing with so much was genuinely such a relief. We travel a lot and finding someone I actually trust with Nova is hard. Jordan is our first call from here on out. If you have a big, strong, stubborn dog and need someone who gets it — he's your person.

We booked Alisha to take Oreo on a walk while we were away. Alisha was extremely communicative and let us updated during the booking. Some schedule adjustments had to be made but she was very quick to respond so that Oreo was able to go out today. Thanks Alisha!

Larisa did a great job in walking our dog Luca, a 65-pound English Shepherd. I felt confident going out of town for a week and leaving him in her hands. I knew her experience in dog training would keep him safe. Besides that, he loved her and could wait to take his walks!

Highly recommend! Communication was clear and reliable from start to finish, which gave me peace of mind. When I returned, my dogs were happy and relaxed. I really appreciate the effort he put into giving them a good, long walk. If you’re looking for someone dependable who truly cares about your pets’ exercise and well-being, this is your person!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
