“We have never left our dog before with a sitter and our first time leaving was for about 10 days. Hannah helped relieve any concerns of ours with her reliability, consistent updates and house sitting support. I could not recommend her enough for anyone worried to leave their beloved pets in her hands. Will book with her again now that we feel we can travel more with such an amazing sitter.”

“Lauren is absolutely AMAZING. We have a COVID pup so he has separation anxiety and doesn't warm up quickly to people when we are gone but he had a blast with Lauren! She is patient and plays so they can build trust. Lauren even took him on a hike while we were gone. She stayed out our place the whole time and left it so tidy and clean! Lauren we are so happy we found you!!”

“Hanna took good care of our cat and our home while we were away for a few days. Our kitty seemed to love her, she texted lots of photos, and the house was clean when we arrived home.”

“Alisha is great! She is attentive to my pup’s needs, and I can tell she really cares. Alisha communicates very well and is very easy to work with. Highly recommend!”

“Javier was wonderful! He came over before we left to meet all of our pets and get to know the program. He walked out dogs every day and snuggled our kitty. The animals were happy when we returned and the house was clean. I would recommend Javier!”

“Kayli went above and beyond and made my dogs feel safe and comfortable. She is a great sitter and I definitely trust my dogs are well taken care of with her. She sent lots of pictures throughout and checked in a bunch which was really nice. 😊”

“Kristen was perfect! She stayed with my dog, and his temperament was so much better when I returned vs leaving him with friends, or having a neighbor kid come over for an hour or two a day. Do not hesitate to book Kristen for your next pet sitting needs!”

About: I’m good with all kinds of animals, dog, cat, whatever! Whether or not your little friend is a troublemaker, shy, aggressive, or well-behaved, I know how to handle em all with love, care, and patience. I’ve taken care of animals since I was 12, so I have all the basics down - making it even easier to specialize care for your sweet pet. I’m consistent and reliable. It’s rare that I turn down an opportunity to spend time with animals, I love them so dearly. I pet sit/ cat sit / dog sit after work during the week. I really enjoy the opportunity to build in animal care into my day! I’m always very gentle and patient. I’m very cognizant of the fact animals can’t help a lot of difficult behaviors, so I tend not to get irritated with them. I can even do some training, I only use positive re-enforcement training methods. I like to go the long mile taking care of animals, I feel like they deserve so much happiness for how much good they bring into our own lives. I love to take dogs on extra long walks than they would usually get, and play until they are all done playing for the day. Same goes for cats!
“Christina was very accommodating. She came over twice before we left town to meet everyone and to meet our babies. She spent two nights with them and took wonderful care of them. She sent us photos and they both looked extremely happy. Highly recommend!”

“Megan was great with our 2 dogs! Great communication and frequent updates with pictures. I felt our dogs were well taken care of and happy to be around her. She also left the house spotless when we returned.”

About: I’ve been pet sitting for over 7 years and have experience caring for both young and senior dogs of many different breeds. I’m comfortable providing short or long walks based on each dog’s needs and energy level. I’m patient, reliable, and treat every dog like family. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners feel comfortable knowing their pets are safe, happy, and well cared for. I currently work 4 days a week but have a lunch break where I’m able to check in on pets if needed. I’m available for drop-in visits on Wednesdays and weekends, and I’m happy to provide consistent, attentive care during those times. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make sure to follow their normal routine as closely as possible to keep them comfortable and stress-free. I provide fresh food and water, regular potty breaks or litter box care, exercise, playtime, and plenty of attention based on each pet’s personality. I also keep the home clean and respect all instructions regarding feeding, medications, and house rules.
“Kaylea did a fantastic job dog sitting our german shepherd, Frieda, for 11 days. It was not an easy gig for her and she handled it in stride. First, Frieda chased a bunny under the deck and cut her face (in character), requiring a late night emergency vet visit. And second, we encountered a flight cancellation flying home internationally, which added 2-days to our stay, and Kaylea didn't hesitate to extend the her stay. Even without dealing with these minor disasters, Kaylea took great care of Frieda and kept us up to date and took great care of our home. Would recommend and use again.”

“Marcia was very responsive and reliable! She sent updates and left us a note with details about her stay with the pups. The dogs seemed well taken care of :) Definitely recommend!”

“Lila is a five-star, consummate professional pet-sitter, both in preparing for and during her stay. We were more than confident in her ability to house-sit with four dogs, including an old deaf fella and a blind girl with diabetes that required twice-daily injections. She kept in constant contact with us and sent plenty of album-worthy photos. We hope she’s available the next time we’re headed for the hills. Thanks Lila!”

“Heather was amazing! She kept us updated and sent us pictures and videos of our dogs every day. Our golden retrievers loved her and were well taken care of. She walked them every day and we have never felt comfortable with any sitters previously doing that. We highly recommend Heather, if you are looking for a devoted dog lover, she's the best! Also, when we returned home we were very happy, our house was clean and tidy like we left it.”

Superior pet parents share their Rover experiences
Bailey recently stayed at our house for about a week and looked after our dog, Maggie. The house was left clean and she took excellent care of our dog. She always replied quickly to any communication, and was very friendly and responsible. If you're looking for a pet sitter, she's a great find! Thanks, Bailey!

Savannah is my new hero dog sitter. Not only did she take Elmo on long hikes…the kind that dogs love and we love because they are exhausted…but my place was spotless when I returned. I got plenty of updates with pictures and video. I will definitely be asking Savanah to watch Elmo again.

Asia was wonderful with our 4 month old puppy! It was our first time leaving him for a night since joining our family, so we weren’t sure how he would do. Asia was so calming and playful with him, and she sent lots of updates and photos. We came home to a very happy pup!

Melissa is awesome! She actually showed up 15 minutes early, which I have to say is a first out of all the in-house sitters I've tried. My pup immediately took to Melissa and absolutely loved her, which is a welcome relief. Reliable, attentive, caring and excellent with updates and feedback. I will try to get Melissa to take care of my pup every time I can for now on.

Hannah did a great job watching our dog while we were away for a few days. She sent lots of photos of him each day and updated us regularly on how he was doing. The house was clean and just as we left it when we returned. We would definitely recommend her for anyone looking! Thank you!

Lila was an incredibly conscientious and professional pet and house sitter for us! She completed our necessarily complex instructions to the letter and everything was perfect when we returned. You won't be disappointed with her and we will, of course, use her again!
Kaitlyn was amazing! This was our first experiencer with House and pet sitting and we are now hooked. From the start, Kaitlyn gave us peace of mind in caring for both Heidi and our home. She was excellent with questions and updates on how our kitty was doing. The house looked just as we left it, too. Very clean.

Katie was very good in caring for my dog, and it was evident from the first day we met her. Mila is a very large and strong King Shepherd who can be a challenge to handle on leash. Without any guidance from me Katie gave Mila a gentle hip check (hockey fans know this move) to get my furry pal to move off the trail as a family approached. As I was gone for about a week it was a surprise to see my normally anxious pup settle in fairly soon compared to what I expected. More than that, after giving me lots of excited love Mila walked across the room to give Katie some gentle attention as though to say, "Hey, dad, this woman is really great too". A bonus for me is how well Katie took care of my home while gone. By every standard, Katie is wonderful.

Jenni did such a great job taking care of my pup and the house while I was out of town. She kept in regular touch with me and sent great pictures and videos. She is extremely conscientious and remembers the smallest details. I will definitely continue to book with her!

Our anxious dog was a little nervous since we’d been gone two whole weeks, but otherwise they seemed great! Clearly well taken care of while we were gone - fresh litter and left with toys until our arrival. They’ve settled down now that we’re back to normal! Donovan did a great job taking care of them.

Megan was amazing with my dogs (and cat)! I totally lucked out that she had a last minute cancellation and was able to take care of my pets last minute. She has definitely earned all of her excellent reviews and I’m happy to add another one. I was very anxious about leaving my big boy, who can be anxious when left alone, but she was there for him, and eased any concerns I had by being there and sharing updates with me while I was away. I definitely would use Megan again. And, hopefully, from now on, am able to plan ahead enough to make sure to be able to book her. The peace of mind knowing my babies are taking care of is invaluable.
