“Nina is a marvelous dog sitter and house sitter. She took care of our poodles while we were out of town for four days, and we feel incredibly lucky to have found her. From the moment we met her, both dogs warmed up to her immediately. She is skillful and gentle, earning their affection and trust with ease. Nina has a special way of connecting with dogs. She went above and beyond, taking our younger dog on little adventures while carefully considering the limitations of our senior dog. She also sent regular text updates and photos, which put our minds completely at ease. When we returned home, the house was in excellent condition—just as we had left it. We highly recommend Nina to anyone looking for a caring, responsible, and truly wonderful dog and house sitter.”

“Dana was a fantastic sitter for us! For both our pups and our home. We would absolutely recommend her to anyone, and we'd love to have her back again. She's very responsible and communicates well, and our pups seemed to really love her.”

“Andrea was great! The house was left in prestige condition, she was very considerate of our home. She was very kind to our pets and took great care of them. Our dog had an accident and she took care of it completely and even did a store run to restock on some things our dog needed.”

“Brian has watched our Siberian cat twice now and been wonderful both times. He sent lots of cute photos of snuggling and playing and the house was spotless. He’s also just a really nice guy. Highly recommended!”

“Donovan was a pleasure to work with. He was prompt and reliable, sent pictures and gave us a short report of his time with our 4 month old puppy. She seemed well cared for. I would ask him back again when we need a dog sitter.”

“Santiago was very flexible and available when I needed a last minute booking for a sitting. Zoey had a great visit and was well taken care of. Santiago made sure to have my place spick and span when I arrived home after a long day of travel and emotional weekend with my family. Most certainly would book again!”

“Meghan is wonderful! She accommodated our sit on very short notice and our two little dogs, who are very weird and anxious around new people, felt totally comfortable around her. She was super communicative throughout the week and sent lots of pictures and updates which was wonderful. Thank you Meghan! 10/10 would highly recommend :)”
“Matthew was fantastic! Conscientious, capable, and highly communicative. Honestly, I don't want to say too many good things lest he be unavailable the next time I need him. Here are a few details: This was my first time and my dog's first time with a live-in sitter. I thought I thought of everything to set Matthew and Bruno up for success. Among the small details I neglected to mention was the doggy doorbell–the one that means "I need to go outside." Bruno hadn't used it in months. Well, he did on Matthew's watch–reportedly starting at 2am. I still feel bad about the long, confusing, and messy night. Matthew handled that and our special sick ritual like a pro. He did a great job overall. Bruno likes him. He'll be my first call next time.”

About: I've been taking care of friends and neighbor's dogs since I was 16 and I love meeting new furry friends! I am highly familiar with active dogs, young dogs, and dogs with specialty diets/feeding routines. I am experienced in dealing with dogs with medical issues, and how to deal with medical emergencies in a calm and effective manner. I am a college student at CU Boulder, and am in classes most of the day Mon-Thurs. During the weekends I am very free, and enjoy going on hikes/runs and spending time reading and doing homework at home. This makes caring for pets on weekends very easy, as I spend a lot of time hanging out at home, and spending time outside, which is good for both active dogs, and dogs who enjoy more slow paced days. In my clients homes, I place a focus on attention on meeting individual pet needs, from midnight potty breaks, to lots of active play to keep dogs intellectually stimulated. I tend to keep a strict routine (eating, walking, sleeping at the same time) for pets but I am also very flexible to unique requests for pets.
“Salomé is an absolutely wonderful house and pet sitter! Attentive, communicative, affectionate, and always leaves our house spotless and our cat happy. Thank you Salomé!”

“Connie was amazing handling my 3 high strung little dogs. She provided many updates and photos, giving me peace of mind and reassurance that all was well at home. Connie took excellent care of the house and was able to adjust her schedule to accommodate my travel needs. Love Connie for my babies. ♥️♥️”

“Chris did an amazing job! He was very communicative with us the entire trip! He definitely spoiled us and our furry kids. We can’t wait for his next visit”

“Roxy was a fantastic communicator and took great care of our cat! She went above and beyond cleaning up and leaving everything exactly as we left it. We look forward to using her again!”

About: Hello! My name is Megan, and I recently received my master’s degree from CU Boulder. As I search for a full-time position, I have a flexible schedule and would love to spend some time helping care for your pets. My main goal of being on Rover is to gain experience with dogs so that I can be prepared to adopt my own someday! To help me gain confidence and comfortability for achieving that goal, I would work best with smaller size dogs. I’m also happy to spend time with older dogs that may just want some companionship, attention, and a calm presence while their owners are away. While I haven’t owned a dog myself, I’ve helped care for friends’ dogs over the years. I’m dependable, organized, and flexible with scheduling. I’d love to learn more about your pet and how I can help! I’m currently job searching, so I have a flexible schedule and plenty of free time throughout the day and week for pet care. We can work something out and I will adjust my schedule as needed. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I aim to follow the owner’s routine and instructions as closely as possible so their pet feels comfortable and cared for. I’m very mindful and respectful of household rules, including where I’m allowed in the home, feeding schedules, walk routines, and any specific care instructions. I also make sure pets get attention, playtime, and companionship during my visit.
“Sophia was fantastic with our very energetic puppy! She took him on lots of walks and played with him until his energy wore out. She even kept his puppy teeth that fell out! We would definitely recommend her!!”

Valmont pet parents share their Rover experiences
Logan was a fantastic sitter. She sent us many pictures of our pups, gave us daily updates, and gave our pups the care they needed. One of our dogs has a topical medication and Logan handled it easily. Logan was also able to follow all our routines and steps so that our pups received a relatively seamless transition. As soon as the meet and greet, Logan had stolen the hearts of our dogs and they are now best friends. We had an excellent trip and peace of mind knowing that Logan was taking care of our dogs and would recommend her without hesitation. She even went above and beyond in taking care of our home and left it cleaner than she found it.

Mareike was fabulous with my kitties who, true to being cats, decided to get sick as I left. She had to give meds (unexpectedly) to both of them during her stay. She was a real kitty whisperer and got both of my kitties to take their meds though they usually are not good about that at all. And they still snuggled with her! Excellent, reliable, and friendly kitty sitter. Sent me lots of photos to keep me calm too 😌
Salomé was the best pet sitter we’ve ever had from Rover. She took excellent care of our doggo and our plants, pool and house while we were gone for a long trip. Everything was left cleaner than it was before we left and our dog very relaxed and happy. She is conscientious, knowledgeable, compassionate and a great communicator. We highly recommend her!

Matthew is someone you can trust whole heartedly! Due to a faulty window screen that was not locked in place (have just moved into this new apartment) my gremlin cat escaped and Matthew handled it like an absolute champ. He was diligent and communicative the whole way through and he got my boy back safe inside. He went above and beyond to ensure that. It’s always scary when something goes wrong when you’re away from your pets, but it meant so much that he took such good care in the situation. My boy is safe and sound and probably had a few adventures out there. They still got good time to bond and play together. Thank you!! Would love to work with Matt again.

We’re so glad we found Connie for housesitting. She really knows pets well and cares a lot about them and taking care of them to high standards. She left the house clean and made everything easy. She accommodated us and our special needs dog and was so so sweet with our cat, too. Will definitely book again and highly recommend her.

Georgie was a wonderful sitter for my dog Mabel! She followed all of the instructions I left perfectly, gave Mabel lots of love and affection, and sent me many photos and updates throughout the stay! I am always a bit anxious leaving my dog with a new sitter but Georgie was absolutely wonderful and put me at ease from the moment I met her! She’s extremely communicative, trustworthy, responsible, and caring!! I would highly recommend her and look forward to having her watch my pup again!!
