To me the most important thing when I go away on a trip is making sure my dog is taken care of, is safe and loved. I make sure I provide the same care to every animal I care for as I would expect my animals to receive when I go away. Safety is my number one priority when it comes to caring for animals. I am very tentative whether it is making sure the dogs or cat don’t run out of the front door, making sure they are safe on their walks, and always making sure they have clean water and food at the times they are expected to eat. About: I’ve taken care of many animals from dogs and cats to chinchillas and lizards. I love taking care of all creatures (even the ones others don’t). Currently I have my own dog, a chinchilla, a chameleon, bearded dragons, and a snake. I have daily, weekly, and monthly tasks for all of them. I have an older pup (she is 21). About: Taking care of and training my dogs has been a vital part of my growing up and there is nothing more fulfilling than gaining the love from animals I am a college student home for the summer and have nothing but time to take care of other’s furry loved ones, my availability is open to the needs of the animals I have had dogs my whole life which has made me very aware of what is safe and not safe for dogs, I am also very good at following the directions from the owners of animals as they know what is best for their pets and what is normal and not normal. Many animals also have routines they follow and I believe following those routines helps keep a normalcy for when they are out of their normal.

Our anxious dog was a little nervous since we’d been gone two whole weeks, but otherwise they seemed great! Clearly well taken care of while we were gone - fresh litter and left with toys until our arrival. They’ve settled down now that we’re back to normal! Donovan did a great job taking care of them.
