Unfortunately, I recently became petless after my old girl passed away. This has left my love for pets homeless and I would love nothing more than to give it all to your babies. Cuddles, belly rubs, a good hike, maybe a little mud and a bath and of course some yummy treats, I’m here for it all! Whether your pet is a professional couch potato, an enthusiastic adventure buddy or just needs a little extra TLC, I have the experience and enough love to keep up with them. I’m currently working as part of a wildlife rehabilitation internship. I’m still in the first stage, so I only need to be there about 20 hours a week, which gives me lots of flexibility. This means I can work my internship schedule around what your pet needs! Early morning feedings? Done. Middle of the night potty breaks? Done. Need a midday nap buddy? Done. I’m open to both weekdays and weekends and with 24 hours’ notice, I can usually adjust my schedule to fit your pet’s needs. About: I have always been somewhat of a dog whisperer. Love getting to know each of their personalities and learning their routines, coming down to their level gain trust and form a relationship. I enjoying getting outside and making sure they can get their exercise. I’m a cellist, so most of my days are spent practicing and going to rehearsals/teaching in the larger Boulder area. About: I’ve taken care of many animals from dogs and cats to chinchillas and lizards. I love taking care of all creatures (even the ones others don’t). Since I was a little girl, I’ve had a deep love for animals of all kinds (including a few “wild” neighborhood friendships that my parents didn’t always approve of 😊). From dogs and chickens to squirrels and everything in between, I’ve always felt most at home around animals. That lifelong passion has grown into a genuine commitment to giving pets the love, safety, and attention they deserve. I have a special place in my heart for pets with unique needs. My dog Gus was paralyzed from the waist down for most of his life, and my dog Ronnie was half blind with several health challenges. Because of this, I’m very experienced and comfortable caring for disabled, senior, or medically complex pets. I understand the extra patience, gentleness, and attentiveness they require—and I’m here to provide exactly that. If your pet needs specialized care, you can feel confident they’ll be in compassionate, capable hands. I offer a range of services including overnight stays, drop-in visits, and support with puppy routines and training. Whether you need consistent care or occasional help, I’m happy to adapt to your pet’s specific needs and your schedule. I’m based in the greater Boulder County area and live with my partner, our dog Sydney, and our two beautiful ducks, Trudy and Winnie—so our home is full of love for animals of all kinds!!! 🦆🪿 My schedule is currently very flexible! I’m both an early riser and a night owl, which allows me to be available throughout the day for walks, check-ins, playtime, and cuddles. 🥰 Above all, I treat every pet as if they were my own. I know how important routines, trust, and communication are—especially for pets who need extra care. I’m happy to follow detailed instructions and will always go the extra mile to make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved. About: I’ve been privileged to have dogs be apart of my entire life. From having them as pets, caring for others, and volunteering for multiple shelters over the years, dogs have been a priority for me. I have deep respect for routines and instructions, can work with new born to seniors (who are just babies really), and will give them the love and attention they deserve. I am currently working on aspects of my education (post doc life!) and have a lot of time to dedicate to pet care. I recently got married this Summer and my husband and I have two little hamsters and live with two wonderful cats! I have minimal travel plans, so would be interested in a one time walk to a pet sit, and everything in between. I have reliable transportation and I’m allergic to being late. Communication and following instructions is top priority for me, so you will never wonder how your wonderful companion is doing. When caring for pets in your home my priorities include respecting your property, your instructions, and your animals needs. Schedules are followed to a T and communication including updates and pictures if wanted! Something I really pride myself on is being able to adapt and match the energy your animal needs. From extremely anxious to very extroverted, I can easily find the pace they are most comfortable with to reduce stress, build trust, and give them the love needed while you are busy!
About: I’ve had dogs for 15 years, and loved, trained, and raised them from puppy age until the very end. I’ve taken care of friends and family dogs for seven years. I have experience in senior dog care and know how important it is to go at their pace, on their time. I’ll only take on full-day or overnight pets on my days off, which means they will get my undivided attention. Plenty of bathroom breaks, walks, and love. Dogs are allowed on the furniture in my apartment, so just let me know if those aren’t your rules. I live in an apartment with a balcony. There’s plenty of open space in the surrounding area and we’ll go on lots of adventures, as long as it suits your pup! I will always keep your dog on a leash unless you tell me otherwise.
