About: The year's 2020. The world has just shut down. I think to myself as I sit outside the animal rescue, is this really the time to be getting my first cat? I drove home with a box containing a creature I had never met, during a global pandemic and apparently thought this was a reasonable decision. Thus started my journey as not only a cat parent but a parent to a very senile cat. Throughout my life, I had cat sat for all of my friends but this was my first time truly living with one. Becoming familiar with cat behavior was huge but more importantly, I learned a lot about how health problems present themselves in cats. Cats, especially older cats, are notoriously good at hiding when something is wrong. Caring for an 18+ year old cat taught me how to recognize subtle changes in behavior, spot potential problems early and understand what health issues are worth keeping an eye on throughout a cat’s life. After years of living with a very opinionated cat who was slowly losing her marbles, I’ve learned that every cat has their own personality, quirks, and very specific demands. I’m excited to meet yours and learn exactly what makes them tick, even if that means discovering that they require their food to be served at precisely 7:03 PM and will accept nothing less.

I've always had a dog in the family, since i was 1 month old, and until now have never lived without one. I've had Labrador Retrievers, Dobermans, Collies, Pitbulls- so plenty of experience with strong personality and physically strong dogs. I've raised dogs from puppies to past 16 years old- I have experience with the energy of a puppy and the patience for the elderly. About: I’ve been taking care of and painting dogs and sometimes cats here and there for almost 4 years now. No professional work, only personal with family and friends. I would care for a dog and cat at Kodama Farm in Washington (My brothers farm). I cared for a 1 year old, husky puppy for 1 whole year, every so often (my sisters dog). As for dog walking, and knowing Colorado weather, I provide about a 30 min walk in the morning and the evening to stay safe from the heat. I’m open to extended stay and constant care. ✏️🥳 🏃♀️➡️My services are best suited for low-to-medium energy pets. I offer unlimited play and two 30-minute walks per day, but I do not offer hikes or runs.🏃♀️➡️ 🫀⛑️ I prioritize safety above all else. I am a nonsmoker, and I generally don’t consume alcohol (never while working). I don’t own any weapons. I feel comfortable acting quickly in an emergency and staying alert to anything that may become dangerous (stove, oven, electrical sockets, locking doors). As a former medical assistant, I am also comfortable with medical needs of pets. 🫀⛑️ 🤞 I’m always conscious of body language, signs of discomfort or pain, and the personal boundaries and comfort of each pet. I’m committed to maintaining the privacy and security of clients — no guests unless specifically allowed, no sharing of personal information. 🤞
