“Nicole was great! She was a trooper when my pup locked her out of the house! She was attentive and sent lots of updates and pictures! She walked him and threw the ball endlessly! Would definitely recommend!”

“Taylor did a great job taking care of our girl while we were out of town for the weekend. She had great communication and sent pictures and updates. Would definitely recommend her!”

“We’ve hired Daniela more than once to watch our elderly lab. She does a great job with him, ensuring he is well cared for the entire time. Great communication during entire stay, and very flexible on time commitment and having all needs met, we’ve even had to extend during the stay and have booked last minute, both times she worked with us and no issues. Would definitely hire again.”

“Patricia was wonderful! She went above and beyond in taking care of our pets & home. She was very communicative and we never doubted that our girls were in good hands while we were away. We would highly recommend Patricia as a housesitter and will definitely be booking her again! Thanks Patricia!”

“Amy did a fantastic job taking care of my babies :) she walked Bee, made sure she took her medicine, and gave them both plenty of snuggles. I would absolutely rebook if needed <3”

“Katelyn did a great job watching our pups for an entire week! They were well taken care of and our house was in great condition when we got home. We will definitely be using her again!!”

“Sydney is amazing! Our (rescued) dog is incredibly codependent and naturally anxious, so she does best to have someone with her when my husband and I are gone for an entire day - Sydney helped watched her, and when we came home our pup was nice and relaxed - a fantastic sign that she was well loved! We’ll definitely be booking Sydney again :)”

“Kayla was amazing with our two senior pups! Our normal sitter cancelled last-minute for a two week trip, and she helped my anxiety so so much. Daily walks, check-ins with pictures, and lots of love kept our dogs happy and healthy while we were away I would not hesitate to use Kayla's services again!”

“Highly recommended! Everyone loved Janelle, even my dog who is scared of everyone and everything. She checked in several times a day which I really appreciated. When I came home my house was left clean, a Very nice card from Janelle and she said she would stay later if our flight was delayed. Above and beyond! I will definitely call for her to come back. You just can’t go wrong she’s wonderful.”

“We were out on an extended trip, and Ellen did an amazing job with our pups! She was very responsive to messages and sent lots of pictures. She left our house tidy and our dogs seemed to love her! Will definitely book again!”

About: I've had all kinds of pets my whole life, cats, dogs, rodents of all shapes and sizes! Picky eater? No problem! Frequent walks? I got you! Senior with meds? I can be sneaky! Is your baby clingy? So is mine! No matter the pet, I do my darndest to make them as feel as loved as I can while they're missing their parents!! I graduated in May 2025, and have been Unemployed this whole time, so I have all the time in the world for your babies, weekends are a little harder, and I'll need more time in advance to plan, but I can do it!! I sadly can't bring animals into my home (reactive cat), but I will gladly take care of your animals in their space in your home, whether that means an overnight stay while you're out of town, or a check in every few hours!!
“Gabi did an awesome job taking care of our 2 labs . She walked and played ball with them . One had meds to finish which she did . She stay 24/7 with them for the 8 days we were gone . Our 1st time leaving them that long with someone we didn’t know. And the house was clean and all in order to. We will use her again.”

“Lainie was awesome. She was great to communicate with, took excellent care of Enzo and left my house clean and tidy. I can confidently recommend Lainie and hope to have her stay again!”

“Anna is exceptional. Anna is very easy to talk to and extremely professional in the way she handled anything that arose. She had such a long stay with our animals while we were away and was on top of communication, daily routines, etc. I cannot stress how much we appreciate and how good it feels to have someone we trust with our pets while we're away. She also did a great job with random tasks that needed to be taken care of around the house such as taking trash out, medicating fish tanks, etc. I'd recommend her over and over again to anybody who needs somebody to stay with their pets!”

“Nice is amazing. Our sweet Jax seemed so comfortable with her, which put us at ease given his age and the fact that we were so far away from home. She sent a bunch of pictures and updates; we never worried once, which was so comforting. Nice treated our home and our dog as if they were hers. Next time we plan a vacation, we’re definitely contacting Nice!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Northglenn
Katy was excellent and took the best care of my fur boy! She communicated well and made sure he was safe and comfortable especially with the extreme heat we experienced while I was away. He had a blast and was very tired the next day so I know they played a ton. Would absolutely use her again!

Olivia took excellent care of our elderly doggie, Lucy. She was very accommodating with her needs and showed great patience and care. Olivia kept us updated and took great care of the home too. I would definitely ask her to sit for us again and highly recommend her! 👏🐕

Maribel did an amazing job taking care of our young cat, our older dog, and our house while we were gone over the 4th of July long weekend! She kept us updated with pictures multiple times a day and our animals loved their time with her! She even went above and beyond with keeping our house clean. Thanks so much, Maribel!!

John & Chantal were fantastic. Last minute before we left our dog had to get some pills and a cone from a medical procedure and they took fantastic care of him with pills and keeping us up to date with his healing process. They also doted on our cat and gave them both lots of love and cuddles while we were away.

This was our second time using Makia as a sitter and we will absolutely be using her as a regular sitter moving forward. She is communicative, thoughtful and even went above and beyond by transitioning our dog to a new Rx diet while we were gone. I’d recommend her to anyone.

Sydney was an absolutely wonderful sitter for our dog and cat. She communicated super clearly, was on time, sent photos, and even checked in when our pup was scared during a thunderstorm. She gave our dog’s tail a little wash when she peed on it! She also left the house in even better shape and left CUSTOM STICKERS of both pets!! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and feel so confident she will take excellent care of them in the future. We can’t wait to book Sydney again!

Gabrielle took great care of our two border collies and house while we were away for several days. Our dogs immediately were comfortable with her, especially our older dog who can have some stranger anxiety. She sent daily updates and we will definitely book with her again!

As of July 2026, there are 9,036 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Northglenn. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Northglenn walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Northglenn maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Northglenn choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
