Comfortable with medicating your pets. I've handled giving medications/shots to anything from a turtle, a chicken, and of course dogs. I am happy to care for other animals such as exotics, reptiles, birds, and even farm animals.

Safety, trust & environment
If boarding my home is your pets home. This is not a kennel type of set up. I only take one family's pets at a time. They have the freedom of going anywhere as long as you are okay with that, yes even the couch and bed :-). I really try to integrate your pet into my home/family. We are all animal people and they will get ridiculous amounts of love. I can accommodate for pets that might need more separation from other pets due to anxiety and such as my home is set up with a MIL area and I can rotate. I have two grown sons who also love pets if your babies are in my home so they won't be alone much no matter what set up we need for their safety & comfort.

Vanessa is so amazing! Our pup is always depressed when he has to leave her house 😂 she’s always so accommodating and professional, especially on crazy travel days that have delayed pick ups. She is our go-to sitter and will be as long as she’ll have us!

Vanessa was absolutely amazing—10/10, highly recommend, and I would trust her without hesitation to stay in our home with our pets again. She is extremely professional, communicates clearly and consistently, and both my dog and cat loved having her stay at the house. Vanessa came over for an initial visit prior to the booking and was wonderful with her introduction approach with my dog, which immediately showed her knowledge, experience, and genuine care for animals. Leading up to the stay, she was very communicative and thorough in confirming details, which I really appreciated. During her stay, we experienced a power outage in Boulder. Vanessa was incredibly understanding, flexible, and proactive, staying in constant communication about the situation. This gave me great confidence that both the house and the animals were being well cared for despite the circumstances. She sent multiple daily updates, which provided peace of mind while we were away. Vanessa left the house extremely clean and treated our home with great respect. It was obvious that everything—and everyone—was well taken care of. She did an outstanding job, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. I would 100% rebook with Vanessa. Thank you for taking such great care of our animals and for the peace of mind while we were away.
Vanessa did an amazing job watching our dog and cat while we were out of the country. She was very communicative which was so appreciated as our pets have some health issues. She made it easy to enjoy our trip knowing they were in good hands!
Vanessa took fantastic care of our two dogs over the 4th of July. They are very afraid of fireworks and Vanessa made sure they were let out early and got plenty of snuggles. She was very communicative before and throughout their stay. She also took extra steps to meet them beforehand so they would feel more comfortable during their stay.

Schedule
I work from home and therefore home most of the day. When house sitting I base myself at the clients home. If I leave it is usually for short periods to run errands and such. I will need access to high speed Internet for house sits. Your home will be treated with respect and I will leave everything as clean as I found it. Of course basics such as bringing in packages, mail, plants, taking out bins for trash day will all be cared for.
