I have had an interest in animals since before I could walk. Growing up watching animal planet over cartoons, I have always been fascinated by creatures of all shapes and sizes. From studying veterinary science, to volunteering at an animal shelter, to working at pet stores, and even reading current veterinary magazines and articles, I strive to continue my passion and involvement with animals. I have experience with complex feeding routines, medication application, as well as behavioral knowledge that I can apply to animals I care for. I am flexible and willing to accommodate your preferences and your pet's needs.

Kathaleen was so great to our fur babies while we were away. We have a pretty high maintenance puppy who takes a while to warm up to strangers. She was kind and patient with her and we definitely appreciate that. Our other old man dog and two kitties looked like they had a great weekend - Kathaleen was very communicative and sent lots of photo updates while we were gone 😁 We will 100% book Kathaleen again!
Kathleen was amazing as always! Our Peps ate some things that she shouldn’t have and she was right on top of communicating and making sure she was ok. I can’t recommend her enough!
Kathleen did amazing with our dog Pepper. I am seriously so impressed. She is professional, accommodating, and gave Pepper the attention she needed. Will definitely be booking again for future walks!

Kat has always been great with animals but especially dogs. Having worked with her prior, I will say I've never seen a dog not like her or vice versa. She always knows how to make a friend (even if you have to bribe them with a treat)! She completely understands dog food allergies and is very wary of certain treats and stuff that could cause issues for your pup! She is very kind and patient with dogs and was very great with my husky-shepherd mix, who was not the brightest and definitely required patience.

Schedule
I am a freelance artist who builds and manages their own schedule, with a desire to use my love for animals and knowledge of their care to take opportunities to get out of the house and do something I enjoy--- Meeting you and helping to take care of your baby! My schedule is flexible, I am easily able to work around your needs, especially on a repeat schedule. I do travel, but I always have ample notice, and will be able to inform you a month or two in advance if there is a conflict-- and plan a visit for my return!
