About: My parents would go out of town quite often for several days each time, and whenever they did, they would have me stay over at their house to take care of their two chihuahuas, Belle and Lilly, who were twelve and thirteen at the time. Belle had frequent seizures followed by difficulty breathing and incontinence and Lilly had an autoimmune disease. I had to give both of them several different kinds of medications and also provide basic care like filling their food and water bowls, giving them treats, letting them in the backyard and taking them for a walk. They would get sad and not eat as much with my parents being gone, so I would make sure to stay over there and keep them company for long stretches of the day. I help my dad walk his chihuahua, Lucy, at least once a week and I help trim her fingernails, as well as give her baths before drying her off. I also help to change the cat litter box since it is heavy. Sometimes we bring Desi the cat with us on the walk in a pet stroller. I care for pets in any manner that the client would like me to care for them in their home. That includes staying with them for long stretches, letting them out, throwing a ball around the yard, taking them on walks, etc.

About: I am the daughter of a vet tech and a farmer. Having worked on my family's farm, so I have extensive experience taking care of a variety of animals including cats, birds, chickens, pigs, and horses. I also have experience fostering and rehabilitating feral cats. Although I have less experience taking care of dogs, I have watched dogs numerous times for friends and family before. I am excited to learn more about dog care as I hope to have a dog one day. I work a regular 9-5 job remotely on Mondays through Fridays, so I am generally free evenings and weekends, or I can physically be at the pet's home as long as there is a secure and reliable WiFi connection. I play tennis regularly on Thursday nights, but otherwise my availability is pretty open. I will mostly be caring for animals in their homes. Be prepared for lots of play time and cuddles! Gabby is such a game changer in our life. We have two boxers that require extra attention. They think they are humans and need lots of love and play time. This is the first time we have left them for an extended period of time. Gabby did such a good job of taking care of them that I felt totally relaxed on our vacation. She sent pictures and messages. So thankful Melissa was able to step in to help with dog-sitting for my older dog Merle! She was very thorough during the meet-and-greet, communication was great throughout, and she left a happy pup and a clean house behind. Would definitely rely on Melissa for pup sitting in the future.
We had a great experience with Luke and Taylor. We had them stay at our house to watch our two dogs and cat for a long weekend while we were out of town for a wedding. They kept us updated with photos and a quick message/update every day. They left the house clean and did more than we asked of them and most importantly I could tell they truly cared for and about our babies. We would definitely recommend/use them again.
Brianne was amazing! Our two pups were very well tended to and cared for, as well as our house and two cats. Brianne was super communicative, sent plenty of pictures, and did a great job sticking to our dogs’ routine and making sure they were comfortable while we were away. Lorraine was so amazing with our pups! So gave frequent updates, pics and videos. She even got our little one to eat all her meals (no small feat). She left the house immaculate and she left us a gift!! My pups were happy and well cared for while we were gone. I would definitely use Lorraine again and would recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter that will treat your pets like her own!
Ellie was great! She was super (but not overly) communicative, seemed to love spending time with our pup, and was attentive to the couple of household chores that we asked her do (watering plants, etc). We have already booked her for another in-house pet sitting stint.
Luke and Taylor are the best dog AND house sitters we could ever ever ask for!! Our dog Early just loves them more and more with each stay, and he isn't the easiest dog to earn trust. They take amazing care of the fur baby and our home during long stays!
