About: I have cared for both cats and dogs off and on for my whole life. I currently care for 3 cats of my own, am a constant cat sitter for friends and family, and an occasional dog walker for a few friends and neighbors. I am dedicated, prompt, efficient, kind, and most importantly LOVE animals. I am available every Saturday and Sunday and M-Friday from 7-9am and/or 3-11pm. Consistent afternoon dog walking or check-ins would fit seamlessly into my schedule. I care for my friends, family, and client's pets as if they were my own- with extreme love and patience. I hope to create a loving and safe environment around me so that your pets can feel safe and warm by my side.
“Hannah is amazing! She truly cares for my dogs and does everything from walking them for a good amount of time to playing fetch and getting them paw benders. I can’t say enough great things about her!!”

“Amanda is so wonderful! My little fur baby has anxiety and doesn’t trust just anyone. She warmed up to Amanda very quickly and has no problems on walks!! She is very sweet and communicative. Highly recommend!!”
“Paulina has been absolutely wonderful with my new rescue pup, my cuddly little Oscar! Her detailed walk summaries and all the photos she sends have given me so much peace of mind, especially as a first-time dog owner. It’s clear she genuinely cares about the dogs she works with, and Oscar has taken to her so well. She is communicative, kind, and respectful, and I always know Oscar is in great hands with her. I couldn’t recommend Paulina enough! 😊”

About: I currently work at a doggy daycare and board I have been certified by fetch find for dog care as well as for certified. I have have four dogs over my lifetime as well as trained countless dogs and volunteered with several organizations to assist in adoption and overall care of dogs. When I was seven I started a dog walking service of my own in my neighborhood. I have cared for several animals over the course of my lifetime. I love caring for dogs and other animals as well. I walk my dog twice a day myself and play with her constantly . I have never met a dog that I didn't get along with. I am aware of the weather for the next few months and willing to walk in the rain. I look forward to meeting your pup and growing a relationship with him or her.

“Chanel was such a gift. She was so great with my dog, was always on time for walks. Great communication, flexible. I can’t say enough good things. I will definitely be rebooking with her in future.”

“Very flexible sitter, was able to walk my dogs with a days notice which saved my husband and I! Our dogs are shy and she did her best to warm up to them. I appreciate sitters that care like this one. Thanks a lot!”

“Lucy has been great with our dog, Luna! It’s such a relief knowing Luna is well taken care of while we’re at work. She’s reliable, communicative, and clearly cares about the dogs she works with. We really appreciate her!”
“Thanks so much for being able to help with River! It's always been a wonderful experience and River and I both love knowing she's being taken care of while I'm away.”

About: i have 3 huskies and one puppy of my own and i love them so much, i go on plenty runs and walks with them. I have tons of experience with dogs & am confident in watching other peoples fur babies besides cosmetology school i have nothing else to do so helping out and watching dogs or kitties i think would be perfect for my free time! I will always be paying attention to the pets and making sure they have everything they need like food and water, i also will often let them out to play or bathroom if it’s a fenced yard.
“I first contacted Amirah when my Pit mix underwent back to back major surgeries that left him housebound for several months. We needed help with med administration and potty breaks. Amirah proved herself remarkably reliable, competent, knowledgeable and, above all else, compassionate. She has treated my dog with genuine affection and as he heals I will continue to use Amirah his rehab needs. ( and maybe soon a fun walk in the park and squirrel intimidation!) I am grateful to Amirah for the peace of mind she has afforded me during this rough time. I would unhesitantly recommend her services.”

“Rebecca is a lifesaver! When I needed a last-minute dog walker, she stepped in and took excellent care of Karson. Her punctuality, communication, and genuine love for dogs make her my go-to choice. Highly recommend Rebecca for anyone needing a reliable and caring walker!”

Franchesca is our go-to walker! Our dog Drew absolutely loves her and I know that whenever we book with Franchesca he’ll be well taken care of. Her attention to detail and communication is top notch, and we loved getting photos and updates from his daily walks. Highly recommend!

Taylor was delightful to have taking care of my 2 dogs. They loved having her here and loved play time with her. She was prompt, responded to messages and left pictures for me while I was away from home. I had a worry one night about windows in the house being open when I saw it may rain and she was happy to help me by closing the windows. I will definitely ask Taylor to help me out again when needed.

Olivia was great with Simon, especially on his first walk. She was patient and took the time to let him warm up, which really helped him feel comfortable. She provided updates and photos, and made sure he was taken care of. I appreciate her communication and her help while we got things set up.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
