“Paulina has been absolutely wonderful with my new rescue pup, my cuddly little Oscar! Her detailed walk summaries and all the photos she sends have given me so much peace of mind, especially as a first-time dog owner. It’s clear she genuinely cares about the dogs she works with, and Oscar has taken to her so well. She is communicative, kind, and respectful, and I always know Oscar is in great hands with her. I couldn’t recommend Paulina enough! 😊”

About: As a lifelong animal lover and pet owner, I understand that pets are family. I have experience caring for both dogs and cats, and currently share my home with two dogs and three cats. Whether your pet needs playtime, companionship, walks, feeding, or loving care while you're away, I'll treat them with the same patience, attention, and affection I give my own. My goal is to ensure your furry family member feels safe, happy, and loved every step of the way. Caring for animals isn't just part of my routine, it's my favorite part of every day! My mornings begin with feeding, walks, playtime, and plenty of love for my own pets, while my evenings are filled with treats, cuddles, and quality time. Because caring for animals is already a joyful part of my daily life, your pets will receive the same attention, affection, and care as if they were my own. In my home, pets are family, it's their house, I'm just the maid! In your home, I'll respect your space while showering your furry family members with love and attention.
About: I've grown up with animals ever since I was a kid, they have always held a special place in my heart. From 3 week old puppies to senior dogs, I know how to care for all. Life happens. Whether it is work or personal, it's important to take time away from home, but now all you need to worry about is finding a trusty and reliable person to take care of your fur babies. And that's where I come in! You can count on me to provide the best care for your little creatures. Your animal is my first priority under my care. Of course I'll do all the basics in terms of feeding them, taking them out for walks, and playing with them. As a pet owner myself of a chocolate Pitty-Lab and a cat, I know what it is like to miss your baby while away. I will always provide you with good communication, updates, pictures and just overall relief knowing that your pet is safe and in good hands. I've pet sitted for family and friends for several years, and I love that I am the first one they call when they need someone to watch over their little companions. I work remotely from home for the most part (with some occasional hybrid work). Because of my schedule, I am very flexible. Watching a pet won't be any issue for me as long as I am not expected to be somewhere. I love staying active so going out for walks and being outside is very important in my everyday life. I own two pets myself, so I have relevant experience taking care of dogs and cats on a day to day basis. I understand how important it is to make time out of my day to play with them and care for them. After all, we are these animal's whole universe so they deserve all the time we can give them! I like to let out any dog I watch pretty regularly, especially if they are younger or older I know how important it is to avoid accidents in the house. Your home will look the exact same it did, meaning you don't have to worry about coming home to a mess after being away. I have also watched cats in the past too. I understand how each cat has their own unique personality and based on that I always respect their boundaries and needs. As a cat owner myself, I know how important it is to keep them mentally stimulated while also giving them the space they may need. I also live in a home with an expansive backyard. I have a chocolate pit-Lab mix who is 1 years old and is very friendly and playful with other animals. I have a cat who is very friendly and good with dogs. Communicate with me the best way to care for your animal and I will certainly follow!
“Madison was phenomenal watching my dog - super caring and far the best descriptions afterwards. Even brought in some packages we had from outside. 10/10 recommend!”

“Amanda is so wonderful! My little fur baby has anxiety and doesn’t trust just anyone. She warmed up to Amanda very quickly and has no problems on walks!! She is very sweet and communicative. Highly recommend!!”
“Taylor was delightful to have taking care of my 2 dogs. They loved having her here and loved play time with her. She was prompt, responded to messages and left pictures for me while I was away from home. I had a worry one night about windows in the house being open when I saw it may rain and she was happy to help me by closing the windows. I will definitely ask Taylor to help me out again when needed.”

“Lucy has been great with our dog, Luna! It’s such a relief knowing Luna is well taken care of while we’re at work. She’s reliable, communicative, and clearly cares about the dogs she works with. We really appreciate her!”
About: My family has owned dogs all my life. All of them have been shelties, so I know how to care for energetic dogs. I helped take care of our senior dog Misha, who passed at 17 years old. I also helped train and care for our two puppies Sadie and Ollie. Sadie has anxiety problems, and I’ve had plenty of experience getting her to take medications. She also had to get surgery to remove her tail, and I was her primary care giver during her recovery, including administering medication and cleaning the site. Now that I’ve moved away from home for college, I don’t get to see my dogs much anymore, and would love to care for yours! I’ve also had experience caring for cats, even though I’ve never personally owned any. My best friend used to have 6 cats and I always took care of them when they’d go on vacations, including administering meds, feeding, cleaning litter boxes, and playing. I’m currently working part time and am a student at CU, so I have time to take dogs on walks or drop in to check on them and let them outside. In the summer, my schedule will open up and I’ll be able to pet sit for longer times while you go on vacation! I feel safe around all sorts of dogs, including big ones. I’m not able to have pets in my apartment, but I will provide them with the highest level of care in your home! I will take them on long walks around the neighborhood or to parks.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
