I have worked with dogs at a greyhound rescue. I also worked with dogs and cats at veterinary clinic. I grew up with cats and rabbits. I have volunteered at an animal shelter and a rabbit shelter. I have 3 dogs of my own that I love so much. I worked at a greyhound rescue where I worked for 2 to 3 years. While I was there I started off by cleaning kennels, feeding the dogs, and walking them to and from the play area. I then started to stay in the play area to watching them. I also gave them their medications, checking wounds, helping with blood draws, and helped giving them baths. I worked as a veterinary assistant. I would get pets and owners into an exam rooms to see the veterinarian, helped wherever needed, and also clean the exam rooms, the lobby, and x-ray room. I love my 3 dogs so much and wouldn't give them up for anything. It started with one dog and then we got the second dog because the pandemic happened and wanted to get a play buddy for our first dog. Our first dog got diagnosed with Addison's disease. She didn't want to play much, so my husband got another puppy. I give them lots of love and attention. All 3 of the dogs get to spend time outside but they have to be watched because they are escape artists. I walk them around the neighborhood or let them play in the backyard or play with them inside. They get fed in the morning and in the evening. I give them baths and blow dry them when they need to be cleaned. I have also watched my parents cats when they were on vacation. I cleaned up hairballs, fed them, cleaned their litter boxes, and gave them love(played with them and gave them pets). We took in rabbits that we found. I would have to clean out the bottom of the cages. I would take the cages outside so that the could get some fresh air and sun. I have worked at a rabbit shelter and also at a shelter with cats and dogs. I cleaned runs/cages. I helped wherever I was needed at the time.
