About: We were raised with large dogs and had medium dogs as adults. Our senior most dog had illness before he passed so we have experience with senior dogs. Our youngest dog was high energy and the older dog was low energy so we know how to handle both. Our youngest dog was aggressive towards other dogs so we also have experience walking with an aggressive dog. 90% of the time we are at home. We will only be leaving to get food or groceries from the store. We’re homebodies at this point so your babies won’t be alone for more than 2 hours max if necessary. We have a semi fenced yard and a pretty regular schedule. We wake up at the same time everyday and go to sleep around the same time everyday so you’re babies will be cared for as needed!
“Rebecca is a lifesaver! When I needed a last-minute dog walker, she stepped in and took excellent care of Karson. Her punctuality, communication, and genuine love for dogs make her my go-to choice. Highly recommend Rebecca for anyone needing a reliable and caring walker!”

“Tristan did a great job with my little one and I would highly recommend him. I spoke to him before his first visit and he came off as assuring, reliable and responsible. During the 3 days he visited Princess, I found all of those same qualities to be true!”

“Yoshi is soo happy to have Alyssa in his life. When I get home I can tell he has been on a good walk. The pictures she sends, always make me happy because I know she is walking Yoshi around his favorite park! Highly recommend Alyssa, she makes sure she is comfortable with your dog and doesn’t just say yes! Which is a huge plus in my book!!”

“I was nervous to leave our senior dog for the week with a new walker but Mitchell took excellent care of her. He was always on time with walking her and very thoughtful of her care. I would definitely recommend him to care for your animals. I’m happy to know I have someone to rely on when we need him.”

“Brittany has been walking our dog for about 6 months now and we absolutely love her! She loves him like he's her own and goes above and beyond to make sure he gets his energy out!! Highly recommended : ) ”

About: I’m Lily! I am not new to pet care but I am new to Rover, and I am super available to help look after your pups! I grew up with dogs in my home state of North Carolina and have been pet sitting for my neighbors since I was a kid. I’ve had dogs in my care of all breeds, personalities, and sizes. I am a natural animal lover and currently live with a rescue dog. Since moving here after I graduated college, I’ve been a reliable sitter for several contacts in Denver, but all have since moved states, encouraging me to look elsewhere for those who need strong pet care. The dogs in my life have all been my best friends and I can’t wait to make new ones! 🐾♥️ I am currently free on most days for pet care! I am in between day jobs so I have plenty of time and flexibility to watch your pups, especially during the week days. I make sure that all pets are comfortable with me by giving them any space or attention that they seem to require. I also ensure that they are fed on schedule, always have access to water, have proper enclosures, access to outside bathroom usage, and plenty of exercise. I’ll also take in mail, water plants, any other small homecare acts you might need. Most importantly, I’ll make sure your babies get allll the pets and love they deserve. Your pet and me will be very good friends and you can trust I will prioritize their comfort and needs!

About: Animal lover alert! I have a deep love and connection for all living things, especially cats and dogs. I currently have three, yes THREE, cats of my own. I grew up with very large dogs, and spent a lot of my free time sitting for friends and family. I have experience with baby animal care, including bottle feeding kittens. I have the patience and steady hand for seniors and animals that require more care. I’m not afraid to administer medication or handle behavioral issues. I am responsible, knowledgeable, and have a keen eye for detail. Above all, I love learning and spending time with pets! My schedule is currently quite flexible during the weekdays, and weekends are open for more involved care. Currently, my part time job allows me to adjust my schedule weekly, sometimes daily, since our work is project based. I have the ability to go on day-of walks or quick drop ins on demand depending on the day and time. Your house, your rules! I can accommodate whatever needs are necessary based on the type of pet you have and how your home is set up. I’m happy to uphold any routine! Special instructions are my speciality.

“Keston has been great! I’ve had such a great experience. From day one, he’s been incredibly reliable, professional, and clearly passionate. It gives me real peace of mind knowing my dog is not only getting exercise, but also genuine care and attention while I’m away. Bowman absolutely loves their walks and gets so excited every time Keston shows up—that says everything. If you’re looking for someone you can truly trust with your pet, I can’t recommend Keston highly enough.”

About: I love pets of all shapes and sizes! For the past 10 years I have house sat for family and friends whenever they go out of town to ensure the safety of their pets. I do work from 8-5 during the week, but am available on the weekends for longer stays. I have a lot of experience with anxious dogs, so your pet's safety is always on my mind. I'll ensure the safety of your pet by always being aware of the situation I'm bringing them into. Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Dupont
I am so thankful to have found Sydney. My dog has severe anxiety when I board her so I thought if she was in her home environment she would be more comfortable. Sydney was amazing with Paige. Sydney obviously knows dogs, how to read their body language, and cared for Paige as much as I do. I can’t recommend her enough and I will definitely be reaching out to her again when In leave town.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
