About: Hello, my name is Saige Griffis West. I'm a Colorado native who is passionate about animals of all kind, but I especially have a place in my heart for dogs. I've lived and worked around animals my entire life. I grew up with dogs, cats, and parrots and helped care for many others. I have an African Grey Parrot named Sneaky, and a dog (Australian Cattle Dog) named Boots. Boots and I have spent lots of time training, and I really enjoy the bond it creates between a dog and their handler/guardian. My experience working with animals has ranged from volunteering at a dog shelter, fish hatchery, and a rescue for injured birds of prey, to pet sitting for friends and family, helping around an alpaca ranch, and adopting a dog, cat, and parrots of my own, all of which came to me with behavioral problems that I learned to work with or correct). I have a degree in Wildlife biology, and currently am self employed, working part time as a waterfowl and gamebird taxidermist. I work well with dogs of all ages and different temperaments, and typically they take a liking to me right away. I understand the basics of dog training and communication (my dog and I spent a year taking obedience classes). I enjoy walking, and will take my own dog on hikes and camping, although the walks I provide for your dog will be in your own neighborhood. I am able to walk 1-2 dogs at a time, especially if they are relatively well behaved. I prefer the level of control and communication I can maintain if the group of dogs I walk is no bigger that 2, and I will only walk two dogs at the same time if they're from the same household. I look forward to meeting you and your dog! I'm currently self employed and working part-time with a flexible schedule. As long as you live close and give me a heads up, I'd be more than happy to give your dog a walk! Everytime I meet a new dog, I ensure it is a positive experience for the dog. I use positive reinforcement and communication skills, and put the same level of care towards your dog that I give to my own dog at home. At home, I ensure that my pets have an enriching environment and optimal nutrition. Then I take my dog on a walk, which usually ends in a play session with one of her toys. Sometimes I take her to a creek or on a hike, and we'll end a trip like that with a coffee shop and a pup cup. We usually touch up on some dog training everyday using positive reinforcement. I will put the same level of care towards your dog and will always do everything I can to make it feel safe and happy on every walk, and will always treat your home and property with respect.

About: Hello, My name is Emily! I am a Colorado Native who moved to Denver in 2023 from southern Colorado. My partner Sam and I are both registered nurses which allows us to be off four days a week to help you out and love on your pets! We have recently switched to night shift so we are at work 6pm-6am, and we usually sleep during the day on ours scheduled work days. We do switch back to day life on the days we are off! We have a doggy door that our dogs use to let themselves out to pee while we are at work and during the day while we are sleeping! We do have an 18 month old running around! He does great with dogs and usually doesn't interact with ours unless it's to give the occasional pat. We currently have two 8 year old cocker spaniels, Pongo and Paisley, and a 13 year old mini Aussie named Sadie. All three would love you hang out with your fur babies. These three are all very mellow, laid back and get along great other dogs. They will play with your dog or partake in a nap pile! We just recently moved to Westminster which gives us ton of access to near by parks, walking trails and even a dog park to help keep your doggo entertained. We have a fenced in yard that is perfect to play ball in or sunbath in during those 90° summer days. Sam and I also love hiking and would love to take your dog with us. We have experienced with giving oral medications (Pongo takes meds daily), and growing up on a ranch with cattle and horses I am well versed with giving injections (did I also mention were nurses?). Concerned about emergency health needs? We have three veterinary hospital with 4 minutes driving distance from us and are also willing to take your pup to their personal vet if that seems more fitting. Safety for both your dog and my own are my biggest priority, so please let me know about allergies, behaviors to look out for, if they are escape artist, and whatever else may come to mind. We are looking forward to spoiling your dog rotten! I Currently work 3 days a week as a registered nurse and I am available weekends and weekdays, depending on my schedule that week! On my days off I'm usually hangout with my dog Pongo, go hiking, or skiing.Let me know your scheduling needs so we can work something out! I have a fenced in yard that your dog can run and play in. My dog, Pongo is inside with us most of the time and only goes out with our supervision. Your doggo will be treated the same! If your dog likes to spend their time sunbathing outside and not being cooped inside the house, I will grab my lawn chair and join them! If your dog needs to be crated I have one that they can use, just please bring their favorite bed or blanket so it can smell like home! What if I have errands? Pongo usually goes with me and your dog will too, if not they can hangout inside while I'm gone and can be put in a crate if that's what is best for them!

I’m originally from AZ and moved here for work and I couldn’t bring my fur baby with me 🥺 I would love to be able to give all that love that I have in my heart to your furry loved ones and look after them as if they were my very own until your return. I’ve grown up with dogs all my life and cats I’m familiar with after taking care of a few friends’ and families’ in the past. I’m willing to take care of ANY pet though! I’ve been around all animals growing up so I feel I’m capable to care for them, but any instruction/advice is happily welcomed! I’m looking forward to meeting you and your furry companions! I do work full-time, but I’m happy to check in on pets before/after I go in. My weekends are where I could spend the most time with them. Although, my work schedule isn’t too flexible, I’m willing to work around anything to make it the most comfortable for you and your pet. I live alone so if your pet is able to be alone for long periods of time while im at work, this would be the most ideal scenario. Otherwise, I would leave them in the crate while I’m out of the house.

About: Being able to incorporate a love for animals into my busy schedule is something I enjoy doing. I firmly believe that our pets think of us as their whole world while sometimes they are just parts of ours and would love the opportunity to give your pets the attention and love they deserve and they be my entire world when I am with them. I am always available for contact and updates if need be or if you just want to check in on your pet. You won't go wrong if you go with me. I'm reliable, responsible, and caring. I am available to drop in visits and for getting your animal out of the house for a walk. I am unable to stay overnight at this time but would be more than willing to be to accommodate multiple visits per day. I do not do in-home care at this time but when visiting your home, I am just as respectful to your home as I am mine. I try to leave the place better than when I arrived and you will have no concerns about me being there due to my level of respect and professionalism.

I've pet sitted for family and friends for several years, and I love that I am the first one they call when they need someone to watch over their little companions. I work remotely from home for the most part (with some occasional hybrid work). Because of my schedule, I am very flexible. Watching a pet won't be any issue for me as long as I am not expected to be somewhere. I love staying active so going out for walks and being outside is very important in my everyday life. I own two pets myself, so I have relevant experience taking care of dogs and cats on a day to day basis. I understand how important it is to make time out of my day to play with them and care for them. After all, we are these animal's whole universe so they deserve all the time we can give them! I like to let out any dog I watch pretty regularly, especially if they are younger or older I know how important it is to avoid accidents in the house. Your home will look the exact same it did, meaning you don't have to worry about coming home to a mess after being away. I have also watched cats in the past too. I understand how each cat has their own unique personality and based on that I always respect their boundaries and needs. As a cat owner myself, I know how important it is to keep them mentally stimulated while also giving them the space they may need. I also live in a home with an expansive backyard. I have a chocolate pit-Lab mix who is 1 years old and is very friendly and playful with other animals. I have a cat who is very friendly and good with dogs.
