“Eli is great, I needed a dog walker for my Aunt's two scotties in CO, I live in CA, Rover App made it all possible. Eli is on time, friendly and reliable! I am very grateful for his time!”

“Thank you Noel for taking great care of our boys Charlie and Oscar. It was a comforting feeling to know they were in safe hands while we were away! And in the end, they fell in love with you. Thank you Noel for being here for us and the boys. 🙏🏻💖”

“Paulina has been absolutely wonderful with my new rescue pup, my cuddly little Oscar! Her detailed walk summaries and all the photos she sends have given me so much peace of mind, especially as a first-time dog owner. It’s clear she genuinely cares about the dogs she works with, and Oscar has taken to her so well. She is communicative, kind, and respectful, and I always know Oscar is in great hands with her. I couldn’t recommend Paulina enough! 😊”

“Kay was AMAZING!!! Her hours were flexible with ours and she got along with our dogs GREAT! We were worried because our dogs can be high anxiety however Kay fit right in with them and they trusted her very easily. She kept us updated with how they were doing and sent us lots of pictures. I could tell right away that she was trustworthy and would treat our doggies like her own. I would definitely hire her again and it was a great experience.”

“Chanel was such a gift. She was so great with my dog, was always on time for walks. Great communication, flexible. I can’t say enough good things. I will definitely be rebooking with her in future.”

About: I’d love to walk your dog(s)! High energy breeds or dogs that require lots of movement will join me in one significant (5-7 mile) walk and two shorter walks per day so they can sleep well, enjoying feeling that they worked hard. I work from home and take many breaks for my own mental health. The day starts with a nice long walk before it gets too hot. My back door is left wide open to a huge, fenced backyard and dogs come and go as they please. When I take my breaks (usually once an hour for 10 minutes) they will get to play, do a little simple training for healthy treats, and receive warm, calm affection. My yard is fully fenced with tall wood. Dogs have access to water 24/7. Dogs are leashed on all walks. I am skilled at walking multiple dogs and doing effective, patient, “no-pull” training.
“Thanks so much for being able to help with River! It's always been a wonderful experience and River and I both love knowing she's being taken care of while I'm away.”

About: Hello! My name is Jenn. I’ve been a dog owner my whole life of pups from all shapes and sizes! I am a full-time remote family nurse practitioner, & my fiancé, Gino, is a football scout, giving us both the ability to work from home. We moved to Colorado from NYS in 2020 with our two adorable, loving pups. We have a 7 year old male Irish doodle and a 5 year old Standard Poodle. Both pups absolutely adore other dogs, and love spending the day playing in the backyard! We have a full fenced in yard with a puppy pool for hot days, in the backyard to keep the dogs active, excited and engaged throughout the day! We look forward to making new dog best friends! Since we both work from home, our dogs are rarely left alone! They get lots of attention throughout the whole day & have a doggie door to come inside and out as they please. We have a full fenced in yard, with a puppy pool for hot days, and plenty of toys for all the pups to play with! With your permission, we also love to bring the pups to the dog park to play, socialize and get a change of scenery.
“On top of being extremely reliable and punctual, Rebecca is the most AMAZING person!! Her connection with my dogs is remarkable, a genuine, mutually-respectful bond. She has such a positive relationship with each of them. They sense her beautiful energy and give back their own forms of affection. Can’t say enough about how great Rebecca is…15/10 recommend!!! Love you, Rebecca - Georgie & Evie”

About: For the past 5 years, I’ve provided daily hands-on care for my two dogs, including a senior Chihuahua mix with advanced heart disease and special mobility needs. My experience includes administering routine care, oral medications, monitoring comfort and energy levels, and adjusting walks for senior, small breed, and special-needs dogs. I live 100 feet from a dog run/park as well as a large park with walking paths(see last images). My complex has a dog washing station that’s highly maintained. My schedule is extremely flexible and I’m open to complicated time frames as dogs lives can be just as challenging as our own. Just communicate your needs and I will do my best to help. I don't just sit dogs, I welcome them into my heart! I treat every pup with the same level of care and affection I would give a human family member. I have two dogs of my own who are part of the family, so your pup will have plenty of company and friends to play with. My home is set up to be a love-filled, comfortable space where your dog's happiness is my number one priority. I do have a kennel available if that is what your dog is used to or for their safety at night, but I am very open to a completely cage-free experience if they prefer to lounge on the rug or snuggle on the couch!

Angela was great! She was very timely, communicated well, and was flexible when we needed to change our schedule. I really appreciate the attention she gave our dogs. I felt very safe with her in our house and I would definatly recommend her and will be using her again for myself!

Sidney was great! My reactive 80 lb Great Pyrenees loved her immediately, and she can be selective with new walkers at times. Sidney provided very detailed notes and photos which left us feeling very reassured while we were away. We are booking with her again in 1 month and highly recommend her to others!

I highly recommend Olivia as a dog walker! She walked my dog, Marley, and did a fabulous job. She was reliable, communicative, and clearly cared about making sure Marley was comfortable and happy. Marley came back relaxed and well exercised. She was punctual, attentive, and treated Marley like her own pet. It’s clear that she genuinely loves animals and takes her responsibilities seriously. I felt completely at ease knowing Marley was in such good hands. I would absolutely trust her again and recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable and caring dog walker.

Ricardo was amazing with my sweet boy Charlie. The intro was super easy and they were quickly off on their 1 hour adventure before we knew it. Ricardo saved the day by accepting my last minute request and was very flexible with the meeting location. I will definitely request his assistance in the future. He was AWESOME!!!

Franchesca is our go-to walker! Our dog Drew absolutely loves her and I know that whenever we book with Franchesca he’ll be well taken care of. Her attention to detail and communication is top notch, and we loved getting photos and updates from his daily walks. Highly recommend!

Taylor was delightful to have taking care of my 2 dogs. They loved having her here and loved play time with her. She was prompt, responded to messages and left pictures for me while I was away from home. I had a worry one night about windows in the house being open when I saw it may rain and she was happy to help me by closing the windows. I will definitely ask Taylor to help me out again when needed.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
