“Grace has been so kind and accommodating with our little Luna! Even on days when our 11-year-old pup isn’t quite up for a walk, Grace still takes the time to bring her outside to a shady spot in the grass so she can enjoy some fresh air and the beautiful weather. We truly appreciate the extra care and attention she gives Luna”

About: Hi! My name is Emily. I've been around dogs my whole life and grew up with a 140 lb German shepherd/husky named Waldo. Since then I have taken care of animals of friends, family and roommates. I have been an active sitter on Rover since 2020 and have experience with a variety of dogs with a variety of needs! I live in a house with my partner and only take dogs (or cats) from one family at a time. We love to go on long walks and hiking if your pup is capable! I have a fenced in patio so hanging out and sitting in the sun is also encouraged! I accept drop off and pick up times 7:00am-9:00pm I work part-time as a barista and go to school online! Since I only work part-time, I have plenty of time to walk, run, and play with your pets! I live with my partner in a house with a fenced in patio. We don't have any pets of our own. He helps me take care of the dogs when I'm at work and vice versa. Unfortunately, our yard isn't fenced in yet so I like to go on long walks every day with the dogs I care for and hike on the days when I have more free time in my day. If the dogs I'm watching are not very energetic, I like to chill and snuggle with them instead.
“Iliana is so great with my pup! She is always on time, sends me photos and trustworthy in my home. My pups is timid at first but after a few weeks being walked by Iliana I can see how comfortable she has gotten with her by the look on her face in each photo!”

“Juliana is great with our dog. She communicates timely and is punctual. She send photos and always lets us know how Zappa is doing. Highly recommend!”

“Alyssa has been great with my senior Great Dane. Taking walks slow, being patient with her even she (my pup) doesn’t want to walk. I’m very appreciative of her spending time with her and my Dane looooves her!”
“Emily was reliable, flexible, friendly, and a good communicator. My dog Minka liked her right away! I will definitely be using her again for walks and I recommend her to others as well!”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is the combination of my experience, patience, and genuine love for animals. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies to gentle seniors, and I understand that every pet has unique needs and deserves personalized attention. I’m experienced with crate training, leash training, and reinforcing basic commands, making me a great fit for puppies and younger dogs who are still learning. Above all, I strive to provide a safe, loving, and stress-free environment so both pets and their owners feel completely at ease. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine! I work in an outside sales role, which gives me a great deal of flexibility with my schedule and time management. Because of that, I’m able to stop home throughout the day for potty breaks, playtime, walks, or simply to give your pet some extra love and attention. At home, I have a doggy door that provides access to a fully fenced and secure backyard, allowing dogs to safely go outside as they please. I also have security cameras in the backyard so I can keep an eye on things and ensure everyone is safe and comfortable, even when I’m away for a short time. I’m committed to maintaining each pet’s normal routine, including feeding schedules, exercise, medication if needed, and plenty of affection, so they feel happy, comfortable, and right at home. I offer overnight pet care exclusively in my home, where your pup will be treated like family! If you're not looking for overnight boarding, I'm also happy to provide drop-in visits multiple times throughout the day, with each visit lasting 1–2 hours. Whether your pet needs potty breaks, walks, playtime, feeding, medication, or just some extra companionship, I'm happy to tailor each visit to their routine. Since I have a very sweet and cuddly Border Collie mix named Dexter, it's important that any dogs staying in my home are dog-friendly. Dexter loves having a playmate, but to make sure everyone is comfortable, I like to schedule a quick meet-and-greet at a nearby park before confirming an overnight stay.
About: Hi! My name is Rachel and I’ve lived in Denver for 6 years. I’ve grown up around dogs, cats, hamsters, etc. (6+ animals in my childhood household at any given time). I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember and choose to surround myself around them whenever I can. I joined Rover so that I can fill my love tank for any and all types of animals. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions! I work mostly remote, so my schedule is very flexible and I’d be able to make almost anytime in the day work to care for your pet. I’ll love your pet just as you do and will ensure their safety as if they were my own. Your pets safety is my top priority.
About: I have experience house sitting both dogs and cats. I have always been very good with animals and I currently take care of my cat that I adopted 5 years ago. I will GLADLY do a meet and greet beforehand ☺️ I WILL BE IN FORT COLLINS AROUND THANKSGIVING AND WEEK OF CHRISTMAS BUT WILL STILL BE AVAILABLE FOR DROPS INS IN THAT AREA. Having a cat of my own I make sure to spend quality time with her even while working remotely. She is a very social girl and loves attention! For dogs I will make sure to feed, walk, bathe (if needed) and play with them. For cats I will make sure feed, keep their litter box clean and give them lots of pets if they like that.

“Erik has walked my dog several times and I highly recommend him. He is very quick to respond to my last minute requests and he writes thoughtful report cards that make me smile and feel confident that my dog is in great hands.”

About: I’ve had a dog my whole life growing up. And have always been to the one to dog or cat sit my neighbor’s friends and family’s pets. I’m comfortable with all breeds! I’m in grad school for PT. I have time before school, during lunch and after school to take out or care for animals. A nice outdoor walk is always good after class with a buddy! I can’t have pets in my current housing situation therefore I would need to take care of the pet in the clients home. I’m always very respectful putting pet equipment near and back where I find it and for my own safety for after dark visits take a friend with me to the house.

Victoria is great with my dog and is a pleasure to work with. Very communicative and punctual. My dog adored her during our meet & greet and you can tell she has a genuine love and appreciation for animals. I plan to use Victoria's dog walking services again in the future.

Michaelah is wonderful. I’ve been using her as a sitter and walker for years and she’s always been professional, trustworthy, reliable and treated my dog like family. My dog is always thrilled to see her and super calm and happy after her visits. I can’t recommend her enough.

Ricardo was amazing with my sweet boy Charlie. The intro was super easy and they were quickly off on their 1 hour adventure before we knew it. Ricardo saved the day by accepting my last minute request and was very flexible with the meeting location. I will definitely request his assistance in the future. He was AWESOME!!!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
