“Grace was absolutely wonderful with my cat, Bowie! She was incredibly affectionate and attentive, making sure he felt loved and comfortable the entire time I was away. Grace did such a fantastic job that I could travel with total peace of mind. I highly recommend her!”

“This is the fourth time we’ve booked Diego and as usual he did an exceptional job caring for our two kitties. He is prompt, caring, provides detailed updates and clearly cares about our two cats. 10/10 would recommend. We will book Diego again in the future.”

“So happy to have found Phinea as our new Rover friend!! She did a wonderful job checking in with our cat and home. She was very responsive, took tons of pictures and checked every box we could have asked for! We will 100% be booking again with Phinea and recommend to others!”

“Darla took excellent care of our cat (who is known to be a challenge)—she was communicative, considerate, and overall wonderful to work with. Would absolutely recommend!”

“Kim goes above and beyond every time she watches our fur children. We were stuck out of the state longer than expected and she continued care on short notice until we returned. She even fixed our leaky hose! Thanks again, Kim, for treating our family as your own😁”

“Megan was great with Maple and able to do drop-ins on short notice. She was comforting to Maple during the fourth of july fireworks and made sure he was comfortable. I would highly recommend Megan.”

“Jenna and Jason did a wonderful job caring for my sweet dog. They were on time, very kind, and asked all the right questions. My dog can be kind of skiddish, but they made her feel very comfortable. I will absolutely be asking them again to watch our sweet pup.”

“Sara was great and took extra good care of our dog, Moseley on a last minute weekend check in request. She played with him and went above and beyond what we had hoped for - making sure our dog had water and that he didn’t bring too much dirt/grass inside the house too!”

“Sabrina was so sweet! She came exactly on-time and took care of my dog perfectly! She had no problem handling my old grumpy dog and I am so appreciative of that. She even gave me some cans of cat food for a stray I found which was super nice! Would definitely book her again if drop ins are needed!”

About: Hi! My name is Rachel and I’ve lived in Denver for 6 years. I’ve grown up around dogs, cats, hamsters, etc. (6+ animals in my childhood household at any given time). I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember and choose to surround myself around them whenever I can. I joined Rover so that I can fill my love tank for any and all types of animals. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions! I work mostly remote, so my schedule is very flexible and I’d be able to make almost anytime in the day work to care for your pet. I’ll love your pet just as you do and will ensure their safety as if they were my own. Your pets safety is my top priority.

“Kendra is amazing! She was very communicative and understanding when my schedule changed a bit. I can be a very anxious dog mom as I don’t travel without my boy much, but the photos of my happy dog and thoughtful notes was perfection. Kendra is our forever go to now :)”

“Our cats had a great time with Abigail! She was so communicative and left detailed feedback while we were away. We are grateful to have found such a kind and accommodating caretaker!!”

“Taylor went above and beyond to make sure Jax was comfortable and taken care of. We recently moved so he’s been very suspicious of strangers, but he loved her instantly. We will definitely be repeat clients”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Berkley
Ashley is an absolutely wonderful pet sitter. She takes care of my dog, Finley, on a weekly basis and I’ve also booked her for drop-ins for my cat, Lola, when I go out of town. She always sends an adorable description of what Lola and Finley are up to with her, and sends lots of cute photos. Most recently when I went out of town, she noticed that my house AC was off somehow (during a heat wave!) and she turned it on to make sure Lola was safe and comfortable. She is always incredibly responsive and I know my pets are always in good hands with her.

Sara did a wonderful job taking care of my two cats while I was on vacation. They have a pretty specific diet and medication routine, and she did an excellent job following all of my instructions. She was also great about communicating while I was away, keeping me updated and even letting me know right away about a small fridge leak so I could address it. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing my cats were in such capable hands. I would recommend Sara to anyone looking for a reliable, attentive, and communicative pet sitter!

Exceptional. I have never done care with an outside person before for any animal. Rachel was beyond kind, responsive, understanding, attentive, affectionate, and mindful of my cats. She is someone I highly recommend for any type of animals or their needs. I feel I got so lucky with her and allowed me peace of mind when I was gone. I will be booking her again for sure!

Charissa was very helpful while I was away, she was attentive, followed instructions and took good care of my fur baby, kitty was happy when I got home. I appreciate her updates and photos to know that she was being taking care of. I will definitely book again if I leave town. Thank you so much Charissa!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Berkley. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
