“Amazing care and service! This was our second time booking with Diego and he is fantastic. Our cat loves spending time with him and he takes great care while we are away. We will continue to book with Diego!”

“Amy was incredibly sweet and took great care of my cat. My cat ran right up to Amy when they first met and immediately loved her. She followed all the instructions perfectly!”

“Stephany is kind, professional, and communicates well and promptly. My cat is very picky (what cat isn’t but to the extreme that she will hide for lots of sitters) and loves her. Thank you, Stephany, for always being amazing!”

“We had such a great experience with Noah and would absolutely book him again. Our two cats are a little extra and have very specific routines, and he handled it all with ease. He took the time to get to know their personalities and quirks, and it really showed. We came home to two happy, relaxed cats, which is saying a lot. Noah kept us updated with messages and photos, which made being away so much easier. If your pets have big personalities and a few preferences, he’s a great choice. About: I’ve mostly only ever helped friends and neighbors with their pets. This is cats, dogs and sometimes plants! Last dog I watched for two weeks was on seizure medication and I was in charge of medication. I follow instructions very well! And ask questions! Looking to help with evening walks or feeding! I work until 3 everyday and love to help people. I don’t have a pet right now so I want to help others with theirs:) I know I’m a stranger. I respect their house and that I’m in their territory. I listen to the client and sometimes just too many updates
“Emily was amazing! She took care of my cat & dog while we were away for a wedding - super responsive & shared the cutest photos, was mindful of the heat for dog walks, and generally took such great care of my babies! Will definitely rebook next time I’m in need of pet care”

“Max was so great!! Had him check in on my two boys and he hung out with them and gave them lots of love and was a great communicator and I would 1000% book him again!! Highly recommend! :)”

“Enecia was very professional and communicative! We had a little miscommunication about the drop in times, but she handled it very well. She took good care of our home and Phoebe and we would definitely have her visit again!”

“Kim goes above and beyond every time she watches our fur children. We were stuck out of the state longer than expected and she continued care on short notice until we returned. She even fixed our leaky hose! Thanks again, Kim, for treating our family as your own😁”

“Alexis is the best. Having someone you can trust and count on to love on your pets is the most comforting thing when leaving home. It makes your vacation/time away much more stress free and you never have to worry if your babies are being loved on/cared for. We love having her and couldn’t recommend her enough.”

“Jenna and Jason did a wonderful job caring for my sweet dog. They were on time, very kind, and asked all the right questions. My dog can be kind of skiddish, but they made her feel very comfortable. I will absolutely be asking them again to watch our sweet pup.”

“Karol was amazing! I revived multiple pictures and in-depth descriptions of what happened during their visits and how it went! I can tell Brick enjoyed all the care and quality time Karol gave him. Thank you so much!”

“We recently had Noel watch our two cats and she did a fantastic job! She was reliable, communicative, and clearly took great care of them. We came home to two happy, well-loved cats and a tidy space. We'd highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring pet sitter!”

“Jacqueline is great!! She always sends the cutest pictures and has been super easy to communicate with. Will definitely be booking with Jacqueline the next time we’re out of town!”

“Second time having him watch Rusty and everything went great again! He was very attentive, communicated well, and made sure Rusty was well taken care of while I was away. Really appreciate the care and would definitely book again.”

“Mariah has always been very responsible and takes great care of my furry buddy when I'm going on vacation. I especially recommend her for high energy doggies!”

“Grace was absolutely wonderful with my cat, Bowie! She was incredibly affectionate and attentive, making sure he felt loved and comfortable the entire time I was away. Grace did such a fantastic job that I could travel with total peace of mind. I highly recommend her!”

“Rebecca is great! She is communicative, provided thorough visit notes, and took lots of pictures! She made me feel at ease leaving our cats and I will definitely book her again!”

About: I have a pet cat of my own, and have been pet sitting for family and friends for about 5 years. I love going for walks and runs, and it is so much more fun to have a furry friend join me! I am a grad student with a few weeks off for the summer, so I have an extremely flexible schedule and lots of availability. I can adapt to your needs for care! I am happy to fulfill any needs for your pet. I love taking animals for walks/runs that match their activity levels. I am also happy to provide any other services such as feeding, giving water, playing, etc.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - North Washington
Carlie always takes the most amazing care of my cats when I’m away! I get detailed updates and plenty of pictures of them which puts my mind at ease knowing she’s the one watching them. She’s also able to give my cat his medicine even when he’s feeling picky. Would definitely recommend.

I HIGHLY recommend Katie. She is incredible! She goes above and beyond, in every way, to make sure my cat is taken care of. She was so understanding and helpful when there were challenges. My cat loves her so much. I feel so much better leaving my cat knowing I have Katie to look after her.

Amy was fantastic. She provided detailed check-in notes and plenty of pictures during every visit, which gave us great peace of mind while we were away. Our cat unexpectedly developed a UTI and needed oral medication. As any cat owner knows, giving medicine isn’t always easy! When our kitty was stubborn and occasionally coughed the medication back up, she kept us informed right away and worked with us to come up with different ways to help her take it successfully. She also went above and beyond by bringing in several unexpected packages that arrived while we were gone. We truly appreciated her communication, flexibility, and care for our cat. I would absolutely hire her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate pet sitter.

Juliana took AMAZING care of our cat while we were away for a trip! She always responded promptly and was very dependable and accommodating to our pet's needs. I felt very comfortable and at-ease leaving his care in her hands! Ash even made a new friend! I would request her as a sitter again in a heartbeat!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in North Washington. On Rover:

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
