“It's hard to put into words just how wonderful our experience with Charlene was! From the moment we met them, we could tell they had a genuine love for animals, and our dog, Cocoa, clearly felt it, too. They were kind and gentle with him, sending us regular updates and photos showing him happy and relaxed. What truly impressed us, however, was Charlene's incredible understanding and flexibility when our flights home were significantly delayed. They were reassuring and didn't hesitate to extend their care for Cocoa without fuss. This relieved so much stress during a frustrating travel experience, and we are eternally grateful for their willingness to go the extra mile. Knowing Cocoa was in such capable and caring hands allowed us to navigate the travel chaos with much more peace of mind. We came home to a happy and well-cared-for pup, and that's all thanks to Charlene. We highly recommend their services to anyone looking for a trustworthy, compassionate, and genuinely understanding dog sitter. We will absolutely be booking with them again in the future!”

“Tiffany is great!!! So responsive and treats our dog like one of her own. She always sends pictures and makes sure that we know he is taken care of. We never worry about our dog when he is at Tiffany’s house!”

“This was our first time ever boarding Aspen, and as nervous dog parents, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience with Jill. Aspen is an only child and can be a little needy and barky at times, and she definitely takes a while to warm up to new people. Before the stay, we asked if we could bring Aspen over briefly so she could meet Jill and get familiar with her and the environment. Jill was so kind and flexible in letting us do that, which gave both my partner and me so much peace of mind. To our surprise, Aspen warmed up to Jill and her yard immediately! Drop-off went smoothly, and throughout the weekend Jill took such great care of Aspen. She sent us photos and updates, which kept us in the loop and reassured us that our puppy was happy and doing well. She was also very flexible with pickup since we weren’t sure exactly when we’d be back in town, and that meant a lot. It was such a relief knowing our person-picky girl was in such good hands. We’re so grateful for the care and attention Jill gave Aspen and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, thoughtful dog sitter!”

“Great home away from home for our pup. Lindsay and Joshua very accommodating to our super early morning drop off. They were quick to respond to any questions and sent daily pictures. They checked in about any diet issues and even gave our girl a beef bone.”

“Amanda was the best and always quick to respond and sent so many pictures of our dog! We could see she was in great hands having the time of her life! 10/10 would recommend using Amanda again!”

“Shawn is an excellent pet sitter! He gave us peace of mind while we were on vacation knowing someone was attentively taking care of our dog. Shawn goes the extra mile to ensure that your pet will be comfortable. We most definitely will be booking with him again!”

“Rene did an exceptional job watching my pup and have already rebooked her multiple times for the future. Communication was great and my pup didn’t seem to want to leave!”

“Brian was a very kind and welcoming host for Lani. She can be a lot to deal with and he was more than willing to work with her and accommodate her needs. She had a great time playing with the other pups around too. Overall, Brian is as experienced and qualified a sitter you will find, and I look forward to having Lani stay with him again!”

“Kelsey was wonderful!!! She sent updates, was responsive, and has a great house for pups. Her and her dog are the best and we can’t wait to use them again. Thanks Kelsey!”

“Jenna and Jason watched our dogs while we were out of the country for a bit over a week. They made sure to go the extra mile to give lots of love and attention to our dogs, including walks, with daily updates, and were very attentive to their needs. We are very grateful to find such a great family and our pups look forward to their next stay or visit! Thank you!”

“My little Jasper had an amazing experience staying with Nick for an extended stay. Jasper and his two dogs got along great. Nick is fantastic, genuinely cares for dogs, and his home is a calm and caring space. Cannot recommend him highly enough.”

“DeeDee’s stay was great. Got plenty of fetch and a nice walk through some parks! I got to expose her to living with some small children and she did amazing.”

“Emily is so kind and took the best care of my Beau while I was out of town. He had an absolute blast playing with Dale and passed out as soon as we got home. I had a nightmare situation that put me late to pick my dog up from her and she was very understanding of the situation. I would recommend Emily to anyone looking for dog care in Arvada and hope to be able to leave Beau with her and Dale in the future. Thank you Emily!”

“Staci and Nala were perfect hosts! Pancake is timid with new people and unsure about most dogs but she did great even through 4th of July fireworks. We got back a happy dog and would definitely book with Staci again!”

“Highly recommend! Our baby received excellent care and attention. Kyle was professional, kind, and kept us updated with messages and photos. It was clear our dog was in great hands. We will definitely use their services again when we come back to Denver!!”

“Mary has been great! My dog, Cora settled in right away because of Mary’s welcoming home. She’s always available to discuss scheduling and providing regular updates over Cora’s stay, including pictures.”

“Anne was one of our best Rover sitters! She took such good care of our pup. We received consistent communication and pics/videos throughout our pups stay with Anne. She was friendly, communicative, and prompt. We were never unsure of our pup’s safety. Definitely recommend her!”

“We had such a great experience with Noah and would absolutely book him again. Our two cats are a little extra and have very specific routines, and he handled it all with ease. He took the time to get to know their personalities and quirks, and it really showed. We came home to two happy, relaxed cats, which is saying a lot. Noah kept us updated with messages and photos, which made being away so much easier. If your pets have big personalities and a few preferences, he’s a great choice. About: Stay at home doggie dad. Love all pets but dogs are the best. They are our kids and they are spoiled just like a that. They are the only thing we think about. Morning, noon or night they are by our side. Our babies. Never physical punishment but they do get time outs in their kennels if they have been misbehaving. We have a very open floor plan in the house which they run around and the back door is always open for them to come in and out. The back yard is very large with trees and shrubs that they play in and around. It is a fully fenced six foot enclosed yard with plenty of room to roam or run. Last of all no neighbor dogs to annoy them.

Jess is flexible, very responsive, and incredibly trustworthy. I feel completely comfortable leaving my pup with her, knowing she’s in such good hands. I’m so grateful to have found someone Flora loves and feels so comfortable with!”

“Jacquie was very sweet from the start. Asking all the right questions for Willy’s first time meeting her. She gave me great updates throughout the day, and effortlessly accommodated when I had to ask for a later pick up time. Willy was so sad when we were leaving. We can’t wait to go back!”

“Leah was so great with Lilo!! We did a meet and greet with her and Tucker beforehand and it went really well :) They were both so chill! Leah took good care of Lilo and they had a fun day as I could see from the updates/pictures she sent ☺️ Looking forward to the next time Lilo can stay with Leah!”
“Cedric stayed overnight with Jacque and didn't want to leave when we came to get him. He apparently had a great time. Cedric loved her and we would use Jacque again anytime.”

“They were so nice to help me out last minute! I gave no notice but they were able to give Maple a fun day, sounds like she got to play fetch, go on a walk, and play with her new friend Blue during her daycare time. Really grateful they could keep her occupied while I had a particularly busy work day. Their dog seemed really sweet with my little pup and their home is really clean and everything, good environment for puppy. I would bring Maple here again. Thanks guys!”

About: Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve cared for dogs, cats, horses, and even cows—basically, if it has four legs and fur, I’ve probably looked after it! From bottle-feeding puppies I bred myself to providing gentle care for my senior dog who stayed by my side from middle school through college, I’ve seen it all and loved every moment. What sets me apart is my lifelong hands-on experience and genuine understanding of animals' needs at every stage of life. I’m confident with high-energy breeds (I have two huskies—so, yes, chaos is my normal), and I’m equally comfortable providing patient, loving care to older pets who need a slower pace. Whether it’s playtime, belly rubs, special diets, or medication schedules—I’ve got it covered. Your pet will be in kind, capable hands, and I promise to care for them as if they were my own. Pet care has always been a big part of my daily life. With two huskies at home, I’m used to staying on top of walks, playtime, feeding routines, and all the furry chaos in between. While I don’t work from home, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to be home frequently throughout the day, especially for check-ins, walks, and quality time with the pets in my care. Because animals have always been part of my life, caring for them isn’t something I squeeze in—it’s something I genuinely enjoy and prioritize in my routine. Whether it’s morning snuggles, midday potty breaks, or evening play sessions, I make sure every pet feels loved, safe, and right at home. While my yard isn’t fenced just yet (it's in the works!), your pup will still get plenty of exercise and fresh air with multiple walks each day. I offer a safe, comfortable environment and can easily accommodate crate-trained dogs if needed. My flexible schedule allows me to meet your dog’s needs—whether that’s extra potty breaks, medication, or just some extra snuggles. I also have two friendly huskies of my own who love making new doggy friends, so your pet will have great company and lots of playtime (if they’re into that!). I treat every dog like part of the family and make sure they feel right at home.
About: Im obsessed with dogs, including my 8-year-old husky mix but also any I meet! Have been fostering rescue dogs for five years now for a total of dozens! Very capable and trustworthy. Just an all-around animal lover.. I genuinely treat them like my children. I also have a chinchilla! I currently work from my home full time, and rarely leave fur babies alone for more than a few hours at a time, especially visitors! I have a fence yard space and a dog door always open. My dog is not crate trained but happy to accommodate that if yours needs it!
“Sophie is wonderful! Charlie has spent a few days with her and her sweet pup Petunia, and he always comes home happy and tired. She’s so kind and gave him lots of love and attention. I really appreciated the updates throughout the day so I always knew how he was doing, plus she took him on multiple walks which he loved. I definitely recommend Sophie and will be booking with her again!”

“Johan was fabulous! I got photo updates throughout the day, and my pup came home well loved, snuggled, and worn out!! Suki is such a good playmate! Will 100% book again. Thank you so much!”

“Alexandra is the BEST! My dog felt so comfortable with her, to the point where he didn’t want to come home and kept leading me back to her house on our walks. She is so professional, kind and amazing with animals. When my dog got a little anxious she was able to help him calm down. I cannot recommend her enough!”

“Amazing care!! Meredith sends updates throughout the day and my dog always comes home super tired! She has also been really flexible and understanding with our schedule. So grateful!!”

“Grace has been so kind and accommodating with our little Luna! Even on days when our 11-year-old pup isn’t quite up for a walk, Grace still takes the time to bring her outside to a shady spot in the grass so she can enjoy some fresh air and the beautiful weather. We truly appreciate the extra care and attention she gives Luna”

About: I’ve been a nature and animal lover since childhood and have had pets for as long as I can remember! I love the special connection humans share with animal companions. I have watched both elderly cats and dogs, including a cat with chronic health issues (diabetes). I can also handle kittens and puppies over 3 months of age. I can’t wait to meet your pets and see what makes them special! Im currently unemployed/between jobs, so I will be available all day to take care of your fluffy friends! I need to be back at my house morning and evening to feed and play with my cats, but otherwise I’ll be around for your pets. Depending on what your pet needs I’ll adjust. I love going to the park and walking dogs, I can hang with your cat if they need company, and I can give any pet the best grooming session with a little brush! I have taken care of pets with dietary and medical needs before, and feel comfortable giving insulin shots.
About: I have loved and taken care of animals since I was a toddler. Large or small, fluffed or scaled, we will be buddies. I specialize in cuddles, playing, and companionship. I also do walks, baths, and am comfortable administering oral and ear medication. I do freelance work from home so I am incredibly flexible. For overnights or extended stays, my laptop can easily travel with me. My deadlines are also flexible, so your fur babies come first! Pet safety is priority #1! I always use leashes, don't provide people food, and am the ultimate master of snatching escape artists. It's very important to me to follow and enforce house rules.
“Frank is a real sweet guy. He is very understanding of my old Golden's needs. He is very communicative and does everything I ask of him to care for my dog with a smile on his face!”

“We love Mariah! She walked my pup during my travel nursing contract in Denver and took great care of her! She always provided thorough updates and lots of photos/videos.”

About: I’ve been watching my neighbors’ animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up with dogs and love them dearly and I currently have two cats of my own! Animals are my safe space and I love spoiling them! I currently have two cats, so I obviously give them love and take care of them everyday! I am in school, but do it all online so I am very flexible with my schedule and availability for your pets! I’ll always make sure your animal is comfortable with the way I am interacting with them and never push their limits. For cats - if they aren’t keen on humans, I won’t bother them. If they love attention and to play, I’ll be waving a little wand around immediately to get some of their energy out and giving them lots of love. For dogs - I will make sure they are comfortable and walked, and have gone out enough. I can take them to parks and play, or keep them separate from other animals depending on their personality!
“Jill was so amazing and helped me out with a last minute walk. I’m looking forward to her helping me out with his regular walks in the future! She is super kind and prompt with communication!”

About: I’ve grown up with young and old dogs, cats, hamsters, hermit crabs, tadpoles, etc and I have been an empathetic animal lover from a young age. I have experience taking care of animals of all ages - baby to senior! I work from home full time and my schedule is flexible, so I can make any time work! I am happy to cater to your schedule. I will care for your pets and respect their environment as if they were my own. I can provide all services for your animals to make them feel most comfortable while you’re away.

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and genuinely love getting to know each pet’s individual personality. I’m comfortable with dogs of different ages, sizes, and energy levels, and I’m happy to tailor walks, playtime, and care to what makes your pet happiest. I’m reliable, attentive, and will treat your pet like they’re my own! Plus, you can absolutely expect plenty of updates and cute pictures while they’re with me! And treats if allowed of course :) BACKGROUND CHECK FRIENDLY I work remotely from home, which gives me a lot of flexibility throughout the day for walks, drop-ins, playtime, or house sitting. I’m able to give pets plenty of attention rather than leaving them alone for long stretches, and I’m happy to work around their normal routine as much as possible. I can always work on the go and will communicate my meeting schedule with you, so you know exactly what periods of the day I’ll need to be focused on work. Outside of those times, my schedule is very flexible, so I can easily accommodate walks, potty breaks, meals, playtime, and plenty of attention. All photos in my gallery are friends and family dogs that I care for regularly. Your pet’s safety and comfort always come first. I’ll follow your instructions closely, keep their feeding, walking, and potty routine consistent, and make sure they’re comfortable in my care. I live in an apartment, so pets staying with me will get regular walks and outdoor breaks. I’ll also keep you updated with pictures and messages so you know how they’re doing. I take this more seriously than anything! Your pet will become part of my family and I will always put their needs and safety first. All photos in my gallery are friends and family dogs that I care for regularly.

About: I've been living my dream for the past four years, traveling the U.S. as a full-time digital nomad while pet-sitting in exchange for accommodation as I explore new cities, towns, and countryside. Having now built an extensive pet-/house-sitting resume (i.e., over 60 five-star reviews, which I’d be happy to share with you) on a different platform that focuses on travel exchange, I'm eager to offer my quality services as more of a business through Rover! While I've traveled all over the U.S. to pet-sit, my Rover reviews, specifically, so far come from Kansas City, San Diego, San Francisco, and Anchorage. I will be in Denver for the fall (staying in the RiNo district), where I hope to find some pets who need a new friend in me! I’ve spent LOTS of time in Denver and surrounding areas over the years, and I’m so excited to be back! Over the past few years, I've cared for all sorts of pets, ranging from one healthy cat to a seven-animal pack including previously-stray dogs who need to be proven to that they're safe. I've truly made some best friends in these pets; my top favorites have been pitbulls with a personality, as well as cats who provide me some freedom in my daily routine. I've also provided all sorts of medical care to my furry friends: simple pills in pill pockets, "pilling" a cat, checking glucose levels of a diabetic cat and giving it insulin injections, giving a dog allergy immunizations, post-seizure comfort care to a dog, physical guidance for a dog who was both blind and deaf, and sincere patience with senior dogs on walks, going up stairs, or who are in the stage of life of needing to wear diapers. I've also watched service dogs who adhere to a different set of rules/commands than their siblings. (When I was younger, I helped train a litter of puppies, so that's also not foreign to me.) While the pet- and house-sitting experience I have amassed is top-quality, my resume stems from and highlights a simple, true love for spending time with animals, especially dogs and cats. What you can count on from me as your pet-sitter: 1) I will end the sit with various nicknames for your pets, 2) I will talk to them all day and invite them into every room I hang out in (as long as they're allowed), 3) I will send you at least one/two picture(s) a day, if not more because you request it or they do something extra cute/funny, and 4) I am very attentive to animals' nonverbal cues, and I will contact you and/or a virtual vet if something seems really off. Through both pet-sitting platforms I’ve used, I have made so many furry friends and have cultivated relationships with pet owners and their communities. In my profile pictures, I have included some of my reviews on the other platform I've used, specifically to showcase the kinds of animal families I have watched and how I am used to pet-sitting (and living my life) in different places all the time. However, if a pet-owner is still curious, I would be happy to provide them with my full profile link. As a nomad, I also want to emphasize that the locations and dates for which I am searchable are 100% confirmed, stable, and are not at risk of changing. (When I am looking to do Rover, I tend to be renting a place in one spot for a while, location/plans determined several months in advance.) If you are at all hesitant about my ability to take care of your furry friends, I'd love to hop on a call and tell you more about my lifestyle or my plans for my time in your area! Pet-sitting has been such a huge part of my nomadic journey, and I can’t imagine anything better. Pet-sitting is something I’ve done since childhood (back then, for neighbors), and I’ve utilized it to travel in adulthood. I converted to / added on Rover several months ago to monetize my experience in light of being impacted by a mass layoff. I wanted to utilize the top-tier experience I’d built to financially stabilize my life while in a full-time job search, but also beyond. Nowadays, I am working remotely again part-time (with a super flexible/self-set schedule), which only deepens my ability to travel to other parts of town to check in on pets and walk dogs while doing, or in between, my digital work, which I can do in various settings! In addition to being able to travel to a pet-sit during the day, to work with a furry friend cuddled up on my lap, go on walks, etc., I am really enjoying having extra time to pursue some side creative passion projects that I’ve historically had to put on the back burner! I love to spend my free time writing/blogging, scrapbooking, reading, practicing yoga, doing all of that in nature/parks, cooking/baking at home, and going out social dancing! Your pet is sure to have a best friend in me, no matter their energy level. :-) I'm a digital nomad, and pet-sitting has been such a huge part of my journey! I am super excited to be back in Denver for yet another fall season, and I'm eager to share my time with your pets! My calendar is updated for those dates I'm available. I can start my days early and stay up late; I've watched pets who rise before the sun comes up, as well as ones who sleep in like teenagers! I have a lot of remote, digital work to do, and your pet is welcome to sit in my lap / at my feet while I work. In my part-time employment era, I have more flexibility and time on my hands, so I figure I might as well expand my time with pets! If you need someone throughout the day, I love a good coffee shop, so I can hang out at one in your area between drop-ins. Even though I’m renting in your city, for the right price, I look forward to keeping your pets company overnight <3 (most of my experience on Rover so far). In my free time, I enjoy blogging/writing, reading, practicing yoga, cooking and baking, enjoying coffee shops and parks, and going on walks. So, both energetic and calm pets will have a buddy in me. I love a good night in, but I also love to explore new neighborhoods. I look forward to doing so while watching over your furry family! I only agree to pet-sits I feel confident about meeting the pet/home-owners' expectations. Luckily for those searching for the best care for their fur family, I have an extremely wide range of successful experience in medical, psychological/anxiety, and senior pet care, as well as home care. Some pets simply need--and want--a human to take them outside and feed them. Others require a bit more attention. I think I really have done it all. I've watched over and bonded with eager, cuddly pets, as well as many rescued/previously-stray dogs who take quite a bit of time to warm up, and cats who fill the litter box and empty the food bowl but rarely show their face. I'm always eager to give the animals my love and affection, should they welcome it, and to fulfill their care needs. I follow all procedures and care that your pet is used to / that you request for them and your home. I am very attentive to pet-owners' instructions, from feeding instructions to crating needs during specific amounts of time alone/overnight, to medication instructions and symptoms to look out for, to times your fur baby needs to be let out or prefers to wake for the day or go to bed. If your pet loves to cuddle and is allowed in the bed or on the couch, they will be welcome to join me. Additionally, I've been astounded to learn how important the HOUSE-sitting portion can be. . . . I've saved a flooding bathroom caused by the connected unit, handled a creepy neighbor while keeping the homeowner involved, kept a saltwater pool clean and operating, oversaw an AC and furnace replacement, and more. Especially for overnight stays, I am known to leave homes just as clean, if not cleaner, than I found them, with bedding and towels taken care of if my departure time allows.
About: I grew up with dogs most all my life and Cats in my late teens and onwards I have a soft spot for senior dogs and can't get enough of them as they are just cuddle bugs. I'm willing to do most anything you need, nails, brushing, baths, medications. 🚩I work part-time downtown denver and only work about 4-8 hrs 3 to 4 times a week🚩 So I will have lots of time to give your pets the care and one on one they may need. I treat most pets like kids as they have big feelings and get excited just like we do about things. Just like people pets becoming scared or nervous so I give pet there time amd space to become comfortable with me being in there home and Space.

About: Hi there! I’m a teacher in Denver and a lifelong animal lover. My love for animals started young, helping out at my aunt’s dog shelter as a kid. That early experience taught me a lot about patience and reading animals’ needs. Since then, I’ve cared for my own family pets across many dog breeds, and I regularly watch animals for family and friends, including a few with tricky temperaments. That’s given me a calm, steady approach no matter the personality I’m working with. At home, I share my life with my partner, our 7 year old American Bulldog, Teddy, and 3 year old hedgehog, Cosmo, so I’m well versed in caring for pets with different needs. That experience carries over into how I care for every pet I sit for. I’m very attentive and understand that pets can have unique needs, whether that’s medical care, anxiety, or a specific routine. Your pet’s comfort and safety is always a priority. As a teacher, my weekdays are pretty structured. I’m at school until 4, but I love using that after school time for dog walking; it’s a nice change of pace. Weekends are mostly reserved for my boarding clients, but if you need a longer stay, I’m happy to make accommodations if communicated beforehand. I have a fenced yard, grassy and shaded, perfect for playtime and potty breaks. I also have a backyard camera so your pet is always looked after, even when we step inside, and a large dog crate is available too if that’s part of your pet’s comfort routine. I’ll follow your feeding, medication, and routine instructions closely to keep things consistent, and I’ll make sure your pet gets plenty of quality time, whether that’s playing, cuddling, or just relaxing together. My own dog, Teddy, is friendly and well socialized, so your pup will have great company and won’t be alone. You’ll get regular photo updates throughout the stay, so you can relax knowing your baby is happy and safe.

We came home to a happy and well-cared-for pup, and that's all thanks to Charlene. We highly recommend their services to anyone looking for a trustworthy, compassionate, and genuinely understanding dog sitter. We will absolutely be booking with them again in the future!”

“Shawn is an excellent pet sitter! He gave us peace of mind while we were on vacation knowing someone was attentively taking care of our dog. Shawn goes the extra mile to ensure that your pet will be comfortable. We most definitely will be booking with him again!”

Thank you!”

“Dax loved Elizabeth! She was very flexible with our plans with Dax, shared consistent updates, was easy to reach and most of all Dax loved her! We will definitely be using Elizabeth again.”

“Alison did a fantastic job of watching our 1yr old pup! She was very patient and incredibly communicative throughout the stay. We received lots of great pictures and updates — we would be honored to have our dog watched by her again!”

“Dana and family could not have been more attentive, communicative and sweet with our pup, who unfortunately had some tummy trouble during her stay. Dana helped get her appetite back on track and let us know what was happening almost daily. It is fitting that this was over Thanksgiving, as we are very grateful for her care!”

“Georgia was wonderful! Always responded so promptly, took several pictures to send me during my dogs stay, and most importantly - my dog was in a wonderful mood when we came to pick her up. Thank you!”

“Anna was wonderful with Honey! She kept us updated throughout the stay with plenty of photos and messages, which made us feel completely at ease while we were away. Honey seemed happy, comfortable, and very well cared for. We’d definitely recommend Anna to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter!”
