“This was our first time ever boarding Aspen, and as nervous dog parents, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience with Jill. Aspen is an only child and can be a little needy and barky at times, and she definitely takes a while to warm up to new people. Before the stay, we asked if we could bring Aspen over briefly so she could meet Jill and get familiar with her and the environment. Jill was so kind and flexible in letting us do that, which gave both my partner and me so much peace of mind. To our surprise, Aspen warmed up to Jill and her yard immediately! Drop-off went smoothly, and throughout the weekend Jill took such great care of Aspen. She sent us photos and updates, which kept us in the loop and reassured us that our puppy was happy and doing well. She was also very flexible with pickup since we weren’t sure exactly when we’d be back in town, and that meant a lot. It was such a relief knowing our person-picky girl was in such good hands. We live in a house with a backyard and have a 1.5 y/o Pyrenees/Golden mix who loves to play. If your buddy isn’t really into playing, it’s easy to keep ‘em separated. We do have kiddos (4 and 7 y/o), so if your pup(s) are aggressive or does not get along with kids or other dogs, we will not be the family for you. My husband and I have our own sweet dog, Honey, who is and forever will be our 'first-born child' ha!
