Pup, Pup Hooray!
Dogs have always been a part of my life! I grew up with dogs, was a paw-rent for 16 wonderful years to 2 miniature dachshunds (2008-2024), and have volunteered in animal welfare for 20 years. I look forward to walking your pups, spending quality time with them inside your home (or mine!), and assisting with whatever needs they may have, including all quirks and whims! I am new to Denver and the dog scene is an amazing one that I can't wait to become a part of!

Kimber has been great and watched Penny a couple times in the last week. She’s on our A-List of first calls when we need some to watch our dogs!
Kim is absolutely a doll!! I was really nervous at first as this is my first pup, but Kim exceeded every expectation. Jerry was in incredible hands and I’d love to book her again in the future

Kimber is simply FANTASTIC! We have a senior dog with special mobility needs and takes medications that can be tricky to administer even for us. Kimber was ultra patient and worked hard with our girl in every way possible. She went above and beyond making sure our dog got regular special mobility exercise in her yard and house, she was patient working with our dog and her medications, and Kimber always kept us updated at least a couple times a day. Both Kimber and her husband are super smart professionals, so it was such peace of mind knowing our dog was with people that are wonderful with animals and also would 100% know what to do if any issue or emergency arose. That combo is hard to find and when you have a senior dog, that is what defines elite boarders from great boarders. We are eternally grateful for Kimber taking such good care of our girl while we were away. That is the longest we have left our dog in over 10 years so that says something. Kimber is just one of those people that has a natural gift with dogs and all pets. We can’t thank her enough!
My dog Coconut has separation anxiety, but hardly noticed I left because he enjoyed snuggling with Kimber so much for a couple of hours while I was gone. She came over a bit early to meet us and he loved her from the moment she walked in the door. She sent pictures & gave updates regularly throughout the stay, which eased my mind as a first time Rover user. I will definitely have her come hang out with him again soon!
Kimber was amazing! She provided so many welcome updates and truly loves dogs. She had our puppy Penny for the weekend and it sounded like they had a blast together. I appreciated all the updates we got throughout the weekend, thanks so much Kimber!

Schedule
I am not currently working full time due to recently relocating to Denver for my husband's job, so I am flexible most days and have lots of time to be with your pup!

Safety, trust & environment
Your dog's safety is my first priority and I will always defer to your wisdom regarding their needs and how you prefer they are handled. You know your fur-baby best and I want to replicate as closely as possible their routines! I love walking, but am also happy to have in-home play time and potty breaks. I am reliable, punctual, and will spend as much time with your pup as you request. As a former dog mom, I understand each family has unique needs regarding their pups, and I will always work to honor your requests.
A typical day
I look forward to exercising your dog physically and mentally! I enjoy walking dogs and allow them plenty of time to sniff and work their brains. It's like their version of reading a book! I am also happy to play with your dog or simply snuggle if it's one of those kind of days! I am also comfortable using a stroller with senior dogs or those with limited mobility should you need that.
