About: Hi, I’m Mayra — a lifelong dog lover with years of hands-on pet care experience! 🐶 I’ve had dogs in my life for as long as I can remember — from small pups to playful companions — and caring for them has always brought me joy. I treat every dog like family, making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you're away. Whether your pup enjoys walks, playtime, or just relaxing company, I’m here to provide dependable, affectionate care tailored to their needs. I’m patient, attentive, and committed to making your pet feel right at home. Let’s make sure your furry friend gets the love they deserve! Working part-time from home gives me plenty of time to care for your furry friend—alongside my own dog, they'll be in great company to each other. I have a fenced yard just for the doggies and one friendly Aussie doodle to keep them company. Of your furry guys has a crate we can definitely accommodate.
“Rebecca is a lifesaver! When I needed a last-minute dog walker, she stepped in and took excellent care of Karson. Her punctuality, communication, and genuine love for dogs make her my go-to choice. Highly recommend Rebecca for anyone needing a reliable and caring walker!”
“Thank you Noel for taking great care of our boys Charlie and Oscar. It was a comforting feeling to know they were in safe hands while we were away! And in the end, they fell in love with you. Thank you Noel for being here for us and the boys. 🙏🏻💖”

About: I've been around dogs and cats my whole life. I have been dog sitting for my neighbors for a cupple of years and really enjoy being around the animals. I am a very responsible person who only wants the best for everyone involved and hope I can be of help! I'm currently working part time so I will have plenty of time to hang out and care for your pet(s). Available for boarding any day other than Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I have a pretty large fenced in backyard with plenty of room for playing. I do not currently have any pets of my own living in the house so your animal will have a of my attention and all of the cuddles. I will kindly request that if you need boarding services that your animal have updated vaccinations and not be super big.
“Sydney was super helpful and responsive while taking care of my dog when we were out of town. She’s reliable, trustworthy, and made everything easy for us. I really appreciated how well she communicated and cared for my dog.”

“Katelyn has been walking my dog Banjo for a while now and she’s been absolutely great. She is very knowledgeable and trustworthy! She sends a complete update and picture after each walk. Would highly recommend her!”

“Sidney was great! My reactive 80 lb Great Pyrenees loved her immediately, and she can be selective with new walkers at times. Sidney provided very detailed notes and photos which left us feeling very reassured while we were away. We are booking with her again in 1 month and highly recommend her to others!”

“Keston has been great! I’ve had such a great experience. From day one, he’s been incredibly reliable, professional, and clearly passionate. It gives me real peace of mind knowing my dog is not only getting exercise, but also genuine care and attention while I’m away. Bowman absolutely loves their walks and gets so excited every time Keston shows up—that says everything. If you’re looking for someone you can truly trust with your pet, I can’t recommend Keston highly enough.”

“Grace has been so kind and accommodating with our little Luna! Even on days when our 11-year-old pup isn’t quite up for a walk, Grace still takes the time to bring her outside to a shady spot in the grass so she can enjoy some fresh air and the beautiful weather. We truly appreciate the extra care and attention she gives Luna”

“Yoshi is soo happy to have Alyssa in his life. When I get home I can tell he has been on a good walk. The pictures she sends, always make me happy because I know she is walking Yoshi around his favorite park! Highly recommend Alyssa, she makes sure she is comfortable with your dog and doesn’t just say yes! Which is a huge plus in my book!!”

“Cassidy is amazing! I recently moved and had to find a new dog walker who can handle my 2 German shepherds. They liked her right away and shes been very easy to work with, reliable, and you can tell she cares about the pups. Definitely hiring again!”

“Eli is great, I needed a dog walker for my Aunt's two scotties in CO, I live in CA, Rover App made it all possible. Eli is on time, friendly and reliable! I am very grateful for his time!”

“Jupiter and Peanut know exactly when Elysse arrives for their walk and they are always so excited to see her. The best things about Elysse are: she always messages when she is on her way, she is always on time, she takes the dogs on a longer walk so they come back relaxed, she takes the cutest photos of the dogs, and she obviously loves animals. Moreover, knowing that Jupiter and Peanut are reactive to other dogs while on leash, she has helped to teach them how to stay calm. I highly recommend Elysse for your animal care needs.”

About: I can teach dogs proper walking skills, I’m patient, can teach to heal, sitting, laying down, turn around, shake, wait, come, social skills and I love dogs! Sidney was great! My reactive 80 lb Great Pyrenees loved her immediately, and she can be selective with new walkers at times. I highly recommend Olivia as a dog walker! She walked my dog, Marley, and did a fabulous job. She was reliable, communicative, and clearly cared about making sure Marley was comfortable and happy. Marley came back relaxed and well exercised. She was punctual, attentive, and treated Marley like her own pet. It’s clear that she genuinely loves animals and takes her responsibilities seriously. I felt completely at ease knowing Marley was in such good hands. I would absolutely trust her again and recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable and caring dog walker.

Ricardo was amazing with my sweet boy Charlie. The intro was super easy and they were quickly off on their 1 hour adventure before we knew it. Ricardo saved the day by accepting my last minute request and was very flexible with the meeting location. I will definitely request his assistance in the future. He was AWESOME!!!

Taylor was delightful to have taking care of my 2 dogs. They loved having her here and loved play time with her. She was prompt, responded to messages and left pictures for me while I was away from home. I had a worry one night about windows in the house being open when I saw it may rain and she was happy to help me by closing the windows. I will definitely ask Taylor to help me out again when needed.

Olivia was great with Simon, especially on his first walk. She was patient and took the time to let him warm up, which really helped him feel comfortable. She provided updates and photos, and made sure he was taken care of. I appreciate her communication and her help while we got things set up.

I am so thankful to have found Sydney. My dog has severe anxiety when I board her so I thought if she was in her home environment she would be more comfortable. Sydney was amazing with Paige. Sydney obviously knows dogs, how to read their body language, and cared for Paige as much as I do. I can’t recommend her enough and I will definitely be reaching out to her again when In leave town.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
