I am your pup’s fill-in dog mama!
Hi, I go by Kay and am a dog mom looking to provide a variety of care options for you and your pups! I’m currently a pack leader at a dog daycare/boarding/training facility and work 2:30-8 Wed-Fri and 7am-1pm on Sat/Sun. I know a variety of training techniques and how to read and respond to dog’s body language. I take packs of dogs on both on and off leash adventures as well as so I know how to support both confident and reactive dogs in public settings. My years of supervise play groups at work has made comfortable working with all dogs from strong, front of pack dogs to timid, back of pack dogs. BOARDING: We welcome your pups to come stay with us! My husband, Andrew, and I have a very dog-friendly home. We have one dog, Frankie, a 10 year old dachshund who is very easy going with dogs of all ages and sizes. We welcome dogs on the furniture, to come take a snooze in our king size bed and enjoy the large fenced in backyard via the dog door. We have several dog beds, baskets full of toys and do a nightly carrot treats before going up to bed. We also have reliable transportation (with dog seat belts) to come to your home for pick-up and drop-off. It’s safe to say we are dog lovers through and through. Please note while we do try our best to have someone home at all times when we have a rover friend, W-F there is a small window of time (2-4 hours) between me leaving for work and Andrew coming home from work. During that window when no one is home we require rover dogs to be crated (we have crates) or enclosed in on the main level of our home for your and my dog’s safety and well being. We have indoor cameras to monitor dogs while we are out of the home. I am willing to walk, pick up poo, go on field trips, bathe, clip nails, clean ears, give meds, feed, and of course snuggle your dogs anytime you need me :) FLYING?: For those flying and needing dog boarding care during a vacation, our home is conveniently located off I-25 & 104th, a 35 minute drive from Denver International Airport! Easy drop-off and pick-up

Kay took the opportunity to meet Olive at our home the day prior to the scheduled walk to ensure she was a good fit, which was much appreciated! Olive clearly loved the attention and their hour walk together. Would hire again!
Katelynn was amazing! She was able to accept my request last minute when I was dealing with some health issues, very grateful for her! Highly recommend
Katelyn was absolutely wonderful with our dog, Barley, while we were away for 12 days. Barley is a high-energy Blue Heeler, so he isn’t always the easiest dog to keep up with, but Katelyn did an amazing job. She sent thoughtful updates and photos almost every day without us ever having to ask, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were traveling. It was clear from the start that she genuinely loves dogs and cared for Barley like he was her own. We came home to a happy, well-cared-for pup, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We would absolutely book with Katelyn again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, communicative, and reliable sitter!
Best experience with a sitter on Rover! She went above and beyond, making sure he got quality play time every day in addition to walks. She gave my dog lots of love and attention while I was away.
Our dogs enjoyed their time with Katelynn and Frankie! Katelynn was a good communicator with us before & during our stay and sent lots of photos 😍 We would definitely board with them again.

Schedule
I work part time at a dog daycare/boarding/training facility. I work 2:30-8 Wed-Fri and 7-1 Sat/Sun. The rest of the time I have available for rovering!

Safety, trust & environment
In my home, we supervise pups at all times. We have secure 6ft privacy fencing in the backyard with locked gates. Since we have a doxie we have ramps and baby gates throughout the house to support their long backs! We separate our dog from client dogs (crate or enclosed area) when we are not home and check in frequently on our Furbo cameras! We welcome guest dogs to join us on the couch or the bed. We allow your dog to warm up to us, our dogs and our home at their pace and never pressure them into anything they are uncomfortable with! I’ll make sure to update you daily with photo messages. When I housesit I treat your home like my own. I clean up after myself and try to leave your home cleaner than when I arrived!
Pets
A typical day
Daily walks around the neighborhood and local park. Lots of toys bins throughout the house with a variety of squeaky surprises. Always a lap available for cuddles. Fenced-in, natural backyard with lots of space for running or sunning on the dog beds. Healthy snacks like carrots, cucumbers and frozen bananas for lunch (don't worry we got the good snacks too!)
