“Susan was an amazing Rover for our dog Summit. She was friendly and welcoming and very easy to communicate with! Her home is beautiful with a huge fenced in backyard for our dog to play outside all day. She also took our dog on walks around her neighborhood which he really enjoyed. We will be using her again to watch our dog anytime we need a trustworthy reliable Rover. -Brian B.”

“Rochelle and Ben are great with our senior dog! They are so caring and help us to feel comfortable leaving our Aussie mix there. We’d recommend them to anyone looking!”

“Charlene was absolutely incredible. We went on a week trip and left our dog with her and she was on it with updates, telling us how much she loved him, etc. I wasn’t worried one bit about how he was doing. I knew he was having a blast. I am definitely going to use her again, she’s so nice and authentic. You won’t have to worry about your baby with her ❤️❤️”

“Alejandra has watched our dog twice now and I’m glad we’ve found a good sitter so close to us. She sends update pictures showing our dog enjoying her time and I loved that she came home happy.”

“Lauren and Matt were absolutely amazing with my dog, Mac, over the long weekend! From the start, they were incredibly friendly, responsive, and easy to communicate with, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. It’s clear they genuinely love dogs—they gave Mac so much love, attention, and excellent care. I could tell he was happy, comfortable, and well cared for the entire time. They kept me updated and made the whole experience stress-free. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Lauren and Matt again, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for caring, reliable sitters. Thank you both for taking such wonderful care of Mac!”

“We booked Nicole and Billy last minute and had a great experience! They were reliable, caring, and clearly really love dogs. “Jack was awesome with Leon! A great communicator, reliable, and I picked up Leon - he was exhausted from all of the exercise and fun that Jack provided. Could not ask for a better sitter to watch my boy!”

“Amelia took our two German shepherds in after our sitter last minute cancelled. This was our first time boarding them for an extended period. She took excellent care of them and sent photos regularly. I would highly recommend her!”

“This was our second time using Nyssa and our girls were well taken care of. We have a high energy puppy that she handles very well and an older dog who needs a lot of snuggles. Nyssa and her family treat our dogs like her own and even sent us adorable Halloween photos of them. Will definitely use her again.”

“Stephanie and her husband were so sweet and accommodating. I messed up my trip dates and she was flexible with me and her husband helped me load my dog’s stuff back into my car. She sent lots of pics and I could see my dog’s happiness. I knew that she was being well taken care of.”

“WOW! Shhhh! Lynn & John P are truly the Best kept secret on Rover!!! And as much as we'd like to keep them all for ourselves & our pup, that would not be fair. Lynn & John P are TOP NOTCH! Our dog was clearly VERY HAPPY with his weekend babysitters! We received many updates and when we picked up our dog he acted as if he could come with us or stay longer with Lynn & John P -either way was good for him. To us, that means our dog experienced no stress! How perfect! Thank you Lynn & John P.”

“Third stay and this one was a longer international trip. Daisy always runs right into Martha’s home indicating she just loves it there! We always miss our pup while traveling but Martha makes us at ease knowing Daisy is well-cared for while we can’t have her with us.”

“I’m happy Kay could watch my dog for the weekend. She had other dogs there to play and her house/big yard was the right setting for him. I got a picture update and Kay was very professional through the process. Thanks again Kay”

“We are very pleased with our 8 yr old Weim’s five day stay with Bill. Bill paid attention to our requests to keep Max on his special diet, and sent pictures to keep us informed of Max’s well being. We were looking for an in-home boarding experience for Max and this turned out perfect for our situation. Thank you to Bill!”

“Alex took great care of Zoey and was very flexible with last minute plans on coordinating a meet up first and extending Zoey’s stay a few extra days. He was also very receptive to adapting his home and routine to accommodate Zoey’s needs. We’ll definitely have Zoey stay with Alex again in the future.”

“Eric and Bee took such good care of Mighty. I received messages, Videos and pictures throughout the day. I have a Pitbull who is hyper and needs activity daily. They took my baby to the park and wore him out! They have a beautiful dog named Clover and I was happy that Mighty had a friend in the home and made friends outside as well in the dog parks they took him too. Mighty and Clover hit it off, which I was so happy about. From the pictures and videos I saw, I felt like my baby wouldn’t want to come home. ? I would definitely recommend them and use them in the future.”

Jenna and Jason watched our dogs while we were out of the country for a bit over a week. They made sure to go the extra mile to give lots of love and attention to our dogs, including walks, with daily updates, and were very attentive to their needs. We are very grateful to find such a great family and our pups look forward to their next stay or visit! Thank you!

Third stay and this one was a longer international trip. Daisy always runs right into Martha’s home indicating she just loves it there! We always miss our pup while traveling but Martha makes us at ease knowing Daisy is well-cared for while we can’t have her with us.

Kayleigh is very kind and trustworthy, and did a great job taking care of my puppy Benson over a long weekend! I felt comfortable knowing he was staying there and in good hands. He had a great time playing with Finley and Oliver and came home happy and ready for a nap. I would definitely return to Kayleigh for dog boarding in the future.

Jill was amazing! This was my first time boarding a pup with Rover and she made me feel so comfortable and confident leaving for a vacation out of the country. I received multiple picture and video updates per day and it's clear my dog recieved a lot of love while I was gone. Lots of play time, snuggles in blankets, running around outside & sunbathing, and so much attention :) I would 10/10 recommend Jill to watch your dog!

We absolutely love Magdalena and we truly couldn’t be happier with her care! She went above and beyond to get to know Frankie, which really speaks to her caring and friendly personality. From the thoughtful daily updates, photos and videos we received, we could tell Frankie was having a blast with plenty of play time and felt right at home with Magdalena. If you’re seeking a trustworthy and caring sitter, Magdalena is undoubtedly the perfect choice. Frankie formed a genuine connection and we wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again!

Amelia was so great. Just 2 days before our trip, my doggo had to go to the ER which resulted in a bland diet for the first few days of his stay that i had to prep. I was so worried it would cause Amelia stress, but she had no issue whatsoever taking that on! She even was so great to go above and beyond and provide some extra support getting my dog to his next sitter after her care. She is very thoughtful and I knew my guy was in good hands! Im excited to have another sitter I can go to!

This is our second time having Susan watch our dog Sophie, and Sophie was so excited to see them when we got to their house. Susan provided great updates, and when our flights got delayed she was very accommodating to our changing pickup schedule / process. We will absolutely be back to have Susan watch Sophie again ❤️😊

Laura was absolutely wonderful! She sent us daily updates and photos, which gave us great peace of mind while we were away. She’s super friendly, responsive, and quick to answer any questions. When our flight was unexpectedly cancelled, she was incredibly accommodating and was able to extend our dogs’ stay an extra day. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and can’t wait to use Laura again in the future!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
