Pup Paradise! Full Time Dog Watcher

Thanks for checking out my profile! My name is Chris and I'm a HUGE dog lover. I've been watching dogs for over 8 years now and have had the privilege of getting to play with 100's of pups of all shapes and sizes. With that being said I do want to mention just a couple things about the atmosphere here just to make sure we are the perfect place for your pup. * We typically have 20-25 dogs that come during the day. Everyone is extremely friendly, but we are definitely suited for dogs who are more active or socialized. We do work with dogs who need socialization and watching them break out of their shell and join in on the action is something that I live for. However, if your dog hasn't been around many other dogs like a dog park, this place can be a little overwhelming. * With the amount of pups that come there are obviously a few behaviors we can't allow. If your dog has aggressive tendencies, mounting tendencies, or territorial/possessive tendencies, we do ask that you find another sitter. We promote a friendly and comfortable atmosphere here where everyone can just be themselves. In 8 years we have never had one altercation between dogs and I want to make sure your dog has the best time possible. If you check both those boxes we would love to have some fun with your dog!!! We have grown the pack over the years to some of the friendlies and playful pups in town. My number 1 goal is to make sure your furry child has the best time while you are away. Whether it's just for the day or 2 weeks while you are out of town, they will have the time of their lives and come back home exhausted from playing all day (or tanning outside with my oldest husky). I know it can be worrisome that your furry child may be kenneled or stuck inside without the ability to go the bathroom, BUT NOT HERE. Your dog will never be left alone or unattended. If they go outside, I go outside. If they want to play, I'll play with them until they are tired:). If they want to take a nap, we have a ton of dog beds or they can cuddle with me right on the couch. Whatever they want to do they can! We do have quite the daytime dog pack that will entertain your pup all day if they want. Some are puppies that love to run around in the backyard and some are a little older who enjoy tanning on the patio or coming in for a dog bed nap. We have a gps and activity tracker and on average they run about 15 miles a day! The full list of furry friends that your dog(s) will meet are: Monday - Friday Pack - I have a 16yr old husky, 5yr husky, and a 4yr old husky (who we adopted through a rover client) The 16yr old will say hi, but then go back to bed :). The 5yr old husky can be timid at first, but after 10 minutes she is in full play mode. The 4yr old is a big softy and will let anyone tackle her to play. - We have a 2yr old husky that comes over Mon - Fri . He is a full steam of energy starting at 6:30am and his only mission is to play. He is super friendly and lives to be chased. If your dog can tire him out I'll pay you to have your dog come back :) - We have a 5yr old rottweiler pup that comes over Mon - Fri. He lives for the dog pool, hose, and chasing balls. - We have a 2yr pitbull mix pup that comes Mon - Fri. He may appear lazy, but for no reason he gets the zoomies and will dart around the yard. He also enjoys hours of tug of war. Other Doggies that come a few times a week. - We have a pack of three doggies that come over Mon, Wed, and Fri. One is a 4yr old Golden Retreiver who is super friendly and picks on her younger brother. The second is a 9 year old husky lab mix who also likes to play, but sleeps a lot. The third is a 2yr old chow chow puppy who is a little shy, but warms up quickly. - We have a 1yr old german sheppard who comes over Monday - Thursday. Ball and the dog pool is his life. - We have a Great Dane that usually comes over 1-2 times a week. He is all about the dog pool and will jump in a few chasing games from time to time. - We have two siberian huskies that come 1-2 times a week. They are addicting to playing as well and will run all day if they can. - We have a 2 yr old Australian cattle dog and 1 yr old german sheppard lab pup that comes Mon, Wed, and Fridays. They have endless energy and will run around chasing balls, hopping in the dog pools, or playing tug of war. - We have a 1 yr old white golden retriever who comes Tuesdays and Thursdays. Another spaz who will play with any dog who is game. - We have a 2yr old black lab who comes Monday - Thursday. Still hasn't learned how to place herself for the day so it's craziness until early afternoon and she is gassed. - There are also roughly 30-40 other doggies that come over a few times a month to socialize. They usually come once a week or on the weekends. We truly have a mini dog park here every day and your dog will have 15-25 friends to play with depending on the day. They all have been around each other for several months now (some years) and get a long great. We have never had an issue and all they want to do is have a good time. There are zero dogs that are alpha or aggressive and we've really grown the pack to a solid group of friendly doggies. Just some things I do daily: - We have a big fenced in back yard (and by big I mean HUGE). I leave my backdoor open all day so your dog can jump into the action outside or come in for a break. We have 100's of toys (tennis balls, ropes, squeakers, etc..) that are at their disposal along with dog pools on those hot summer days. - Picture, pictures, and more pictures. Just to make sure you know your dog is being taken care of and having the time of their life, I make it a point to send tons of pictures throughout the day. From running around, to playing outside, to taking a nap on the couch, you'll know exactly how your dog is doing. I take over 15,000 photos a day, but I send the best ones (even a few to make you laugh) - Outside of the daily routine, our house is 100% pet friendly. Our furniture is their furniture. Our beds are their beds. We have several water bowls always filled, dog beds inside and outside the house, and probably 50lbs of treats. - Training can be an ongoing chore and we don't want to stop anything you've been working on. Having a lot of dogs around can really help speed up the learning curve as your dog can watch other dogs follow a command and pick it up quickly. Just let us know if there is anything you'd like us to work on and I typically spend 20-30 minutes a day helping your pup with sitting, staying, lying down, coming, etc...) DOGGY BOARDING We love having dogs stay overnight! Obviously from above they will get a ton of play time during the day and at night time it's relaxation. We have watched dogs ranging from 4 months old up to 14 years old. We have also administered medications and will make sure your doggies are well taken care for. Often we do get some dogs that are a little shy or have some anxiety as they haven't been around a lot of dogs and we want to make sure they also feel safe and comfortable. Usually within a day they are excited to play, but we will give them some alone time and make sure they happy. The greatest feeling is when you come back from your vacation and your dog has really opened up and wants to play with everyone! Thanks again for checking out my profile. We can't wait to watch your furry little friends and will treat them like they are our own.

Chris was fantastic! My dog is very shy at first around other dogs so was hoping she would come out of her shell a bit with a week of fun. Chris knew how to introduce her to the other dogs in a way for her to feel comfortable and she had a blast playing. Really enjoyed the daily pics!!

Definitely the best Rover experience we have ever had. Chris was exceptional at communicating and sent dozens of pictures and videos every day of my pup having a blast, socializing, and getting plenty of exercise. You can tell he watches the dogs closely and really cares about providing a great experience. I don’t see a reason to use any other rover from now on. We will be back! Thank you so much, Chris.

Chris is amazing and took such great care of our high-energy puppy while we were out of town. Tons of pictures (we are SO grateful for that) and understanding. I recommend Chris to anyone with a medium or large dog who is social. We couldn’t ask for a better sitter.

Chris is an outstanding dog sitter, and we trust him completely with our two Bernedoodles. He is incredibly pleasant, responsive, and communicative throughout every stay. We especially appreciate the frequent photo updates, which give us so much peace of mind while we’re away. Our dogs have specific dietary needs, and Chris is always careful to feed them separately from the other dogs and follow their feeding instructions exactly. He is also attentive with medications whenever needed. It’s clear that he genuinely cares about the dogs in his care and treats them like his own. We couldn’t ask for a better sitter and highly recommend Chris to anyone looking for reliable, thoughtful, and professional dog care.

Pets

A typical day

Our backyard becomes a mini dog park during the day :). We do also like to go to Jaycee dog park and Cherry Creek state park on the weekends.

1. When do you typically feed your pup(s) and how much? 2. Are they allowed on furniture? 3. For nighttime what is their typical routine? I'm always ok with an extra snuggle friend. 4. Are they allowed treats and dog bones? Are there any allergies I should be aware of? 5. Do you have a specific vet you use in case something happens. I've never had to go to one and have a great vet as well, but please let me know if you do. Also if you could please send over their vet records (a snapshot works great), I'd greatly appreciate it. 6. Is there any training you are doing with them right now that you'd like me to continue? Things such as sitting before eating or going outside, working on coming when calling him or her, etc...? 7. Is there anything else I can do to make sure they stay on a similar routine? Whether it is times in the day to play, nap, go on a walk, etc...?
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
