“Catherine and her house were perfect for our pups. We had never boarded before and she assuaged all concerns with great communication and clarity. She was prompt to reply, seemed to be opened to all our requests that were above and beyond the expectations I initially had, and our dogs came home after 8 nights in the same condition that they were in when they arrived at her house. Ok maybe a little more tired, but thats normal when you "vacation" with friends! There were a couple other canine boarders and her 2 dogs plus kitty, as well, and no one got crazy or hurt. Don't ever bring your doggies to a kennel while Catherine is available! Thank you !!”

“Patricia & Steven took incredible care of Maeve. They took her for walks, a hike, and I got daily updates on how she’s doing. Couldn’t ask for better sitters they are such kind and wonderful people.”

“Our pets had an amazing stay at Georgia’s home. They were welcomed with so much warmth, and we loved the regular photo updates showing how relaxed and happy they were. It’s clear they were treated like family. We came back to calm, content pets, and we’ll definitely book again!”

“Brittany, Ayman, and Pino truly welcomed Pepper as part of their family. Their communication and updates throughout the stay were exceptional, which gave us so much peace of mind. We were so happy with the experience that we’ve already booked them again, and we highly recommend them!”

“Kathy is a fantastic dog sitter, she is communicative, flexible with drop-off/pick-up times, and most importantly, took amazing care of our two pups. One of my dogs requires meds and she was attentive to her needs. I would recommend Kathy to anyone looking for a quality and reliable dog sitter.”
“This is my second time using Juzette and she is a 5-star dog sitter. I can’t recommend her enough! She sends plenty of photos, gives my dog lots of playtime, and takes him on numerous long walks. What else could you ask for?”

“Elisha was great with our pup! Our dog is very nervous around new dogs and people especially when she is alone. This made finding a good match for her first boarding very complicated, but after a little time our dog came around to Elisha and hers dogs great and she had a great time! She will be our first choice for all future overnights!”

“Tiffany and Ryan were fantastic dog sitters for our pup. They were warm, responsive, professional and gave us timely updates on key developments. Our pup felt immediately comfortable with them, he didn't even whine when we dropped him off and was captured in photos snuggling up next to them. Thank you so much for taking care of our pup for a whole week!”

“For the first year since he joined our family, we couldn't logistically bring our pup home with us for the holidays. Heartbroken, we reached out to Edie. From the moment Ringo and I walked in her door for the meet and greet, it was obvious how much she loves dogs. Ringo's stay with Edie was nothing less than magical. She even had a stocking hanging for him and toys for him on Christmas morning! Communication was consistent, and I never once worried about him being stressed or sad while we were gone. My only hesitation in recommending her is that word will get out about how amazing she is, and she'll be booked up next time we need her!”

“10/10 - Stephanie and her husband did an incredible job keeping me updated with how happy and well taken care of my pup was, and I was very comfortable while on my trip! Highly recommend!”

“Bill was great! We didn’t get a lot of frequent updates but operated under the “no news is good news” mentality. I think this is probably because our dog had a week long stay. Bill is lovely though and his Great Dane was friendly when we met. Would definitely use again.”

“Lilly was amazing while watching my dog Reeses. My fiance and I went to AZ for 5 nights to get married, and Lilly made it so that we weren't worried about Reeses at all. She sent a picture everyday with an update of how Reeses was doing. Lilly made sure Reeses felt like it was her home as well an was very patient with her. Before I decided to book with her, I wanted to make sure Reeses and her dog Luna got along so she agreed to meet with me at a dog park so the dogs could meet, and we could meet. Luna is wonderful with other dogs and took on the bigger sister role for Reeses which is exactly what she needed. I would definitely recommend booking with Lilly and I will be booking with her in the future.”

“Delaney was very responsive in communicating with me. She answered my texts right away. She was also very caring and kind to my dog. He spent the night and all went well. I highly recommend boarding your dog with her!”

“We felt very good about Skyla and Brian watching Hugo. Daily she sent updates and some photos to track his stay through the messaging feature on rover. As we had already gone over all the things with Hugo at the meet and greet and then at drop off, I feel like everyone felt it was a good fit and her dog was a good energy match for Hugo. Thank you again for the great care and updates you provided.”

“Travis was amazing, it was clear he loved my dog as much as I do!! He sent me lots of pictures and Toby loved playing in his yard. I can’t wait for Toby to stay with him again.”

“She was amazing with him! From the start, she was communicative, reliable, and clearly experienced. He felt comfortable right away, and I could tell he was genuinely happy and well cared for. I really appreciated the updates and photos while I was away — it gave me total peace of mind. I would 100% book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy sitter.”

“Stephanie and her family were so incredibly kind, we needed a last minute sitter for a funeral and they made sure we were taking good care of our fur baby while doing the hardest goodbye, thank you”

“Caroline was super accommodating, even when we had to extend our pups stay. She was patient with him and very welcoming to a nervous pup. He warmed up to her by the first night and they were buddies the rest of his stay. Highly recommend!”

Amazing to work with!!! Messaged back really quickly and was a smooth process from the start with the meet and greet al the way to pick up!!! My pup had a great time and always looked super happy in the photos! Would rebook and recommend for sure!!! Jasmine and her family take the stress and anxiety away from having someone watch your pet!

Aliki and Lee have made our pup feel right at home! I’m always nervous about dropping her off at a new place, and Aliki was wonderful to talk to! She answered all my questions, we did a daycare to make sure everyone was a good fit, and now my dog boarded with her too, and honestly, looked sad to go home! Aliki and Lee make their rover pups feel like part of the family, and we truly appreciate them!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
