“Catherine did great with our dogs. They can both be a little hesitant with new situations but she was able to get them both to feel comfortable almost instantly. She was also kind enough to let us add another night when our flight was delayed. Your dogs will be in good hands.”

“Our miniature dachshund and Australian cattle dog had a great stay with Treana and her family for 2 nights. We received pictures while we were away and we can tell our dogs were relaxed and spoiled! Haha Highly recommend her and we will leave our dogs with her again next time.”
“Elisha was fantastic. We boarded our 1 1/2 year old pug for 6 nights and it was our first time boarding our pup. Elisha made us feel so comfortable with leaving our pup in her hands. She sent us pics and videos less than 30 minutes after we left and kept sending pics/videos to us during the entire time our pup was with her. Our pug got along famously with her two puggles and it really helped us to know our pup had doggie company the entire time. Elisha was happy to give our pup his daily meds and usual food, as well as her homemade treats that our pup loved! Elisha is fantastic and we definitely hope she’ll be available for our next boarding or daycare needs! Thank you, Elisha!”

“Another fantastic stay with Heather. She always takes such good care of my little guy. She always keeps me up to date on how he’s doing and what they’ve done for the day. Every time I have to go on a trip I never have to worry that my dog won’t be in good hands when he’s with Heather.”

“Amelia, looks after our pup even time we go away. She is amazing, our pup loves her!! Amelia, is calm and confident with all the dogs she looks after and always sends us photos of how she is getting on.”

“Kristen was amazing! Our entire experience was smooth and she was very kind. Communication was great and we got so many amazing photos. Thank you so much to Kristen and we will be using her again!”

“Jed was an excellent sitter for my pitbull mix. I had to go out of town for a funeral, and he helped me out by scheduling a meet the day before I left, and took care of my dog for a couple days. He has an adorable dog who was a perfect buddy for my dog. Jed really made my dog feel like he was at home, and my dog will miss the three of them. Highly recommend!”

“Lilly was amazing while watching my dog Reeses. My fiance and I went to AZ for 5 nights to get married, and Lilly made it so that we weren't worried about Reeses at all. She sent a picture everyday with an update of how Reeses was doing. Lilly made sure Reeses felt like it was her home as well an was very patient with her. Before I decided to book with her, I wanted to make sure Reeses and her dog Luna got along so she agreed to meet with me at a dog park so the dogs could meet, and we could meet. Luna is wonderful with other dogs and took on the bigger sister role for Reeses which is exactly what she needed. I would definitely recommend booking with Lilly and I will be booking with her in the future.”

“She was amazing with him! From the start, she was communicative, reliable, and clearly experienced. He felt comfortable right away, and I could tell he was genuinely happy and well cared for. I really appreciated the updates and photos while I was away — it gave me total peace of mind. I would 100% book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy sitter.”

“Nyssa is incredible and I would definitely recommend her to anyone!!! She treated my dog like her own and sent her back happy and healthy. She provided photo updates along the way. Also, I had to schedule a super last min booking and change my arrival-departure times, but she was very accommodating and understanding!. 10/10 would recommend”

“Jenna and Jason watched our dogs while we were out of the country for a bit over a week. They made sure to go the extra mile to give lots of love and attention to our dogs, including walks, with daily updates, and were very attentive to their needs. We are very grateful to find such a great family and our pups look forward to their next stay or visit! Thank you!”

“Leaving your pup can be hard but this family made it so easy. Not only were they quick with responses and encouraged a meetup before to make sure everyone was a good fit, but then while we were gone we received photos and updates to let us know how it was going. Ollie was well taken care of, even made a part of the family, and we were at ease the entire time. We will definitely be using Lindsey and Joshua again!”

“So lucky to find Tiffany and family to take care of our newly rescued Sammy! She shared updates everyday to let us know he was safe and happy while we were gone. We will definitely be using them again when we travel!”

“She was absolutely amazing! My dog was incredibly comfortable with her and Yer made sure to send me plenty of updates and pictures while watching her. She was an amazing communicator and answered all questions I had. 100% I will be booking with her again when I need someone to watch my dog!”

“My pups took to Gayle almost immediately. I was worried about leaving them while I left town. I received pictures of my pups and messages letting me know they were OK. Gayle is phenomenal!!!!! After I picked up my pups they wanted to go for a walk. They turned around to look for Gayle. This warmed my heart. If you are thinking about leaving your pets with Gayle- do it.”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
