“Cassandra got along great with our two cats. One of our cats had been pretty timid with pet sitters before but Cassandra won her over. Cassandra was great about sending pictures and detailed updates.”

“Franchesca was great. She was available on short notice, friendly, and gave clear updates as she did her drop-in visits. She took good care of our cats, chickens, and garden- all looked good when we returned home!”
“Izabeau did a great job! I have a diabetic dog that is blind and that needs insulin injections twice a day. Izabeau took great care of her and was able to administer injections. My dogs absolutely loved her.”
“Rebecca was so professional, communicative, and on-time for all of the drop-ins I asked her to do! I will most definitely come back for any future care needs.”

I would love to chat and find out and accommodate all of your individual need, and make your pups experience here as easy and fun as possible. My family will treat your animal as if it was our own. About: Hello!! My name is Monica, and I grew up around animals of all kinds! Dogs and cats have been a part of my life since the day I was born, and throughout the years I’ve found myself growing closer to these furry family members. I grew up on a ranch with horses, chickens, ducks, etc…and animal welfare has, and will always be, my number one priority. I’ve gained a lot of experience through my friends and family, who have trusted me with their pet to watch, sometimes just for a night out, and other times, for months. I am very experienced working with animal medication, and can ensure your pets needs are properly met. I’ve also worked with many animals (mostly dogs and cats) who may suffer from anxiety and/or behavioral issues. Navigating your pets needs can be difficult but I’m here to help! Please feel free to reach out to me with any and all questions. I look forward to meeting you and your furry friend!! I currently work overnights at a part time position so I’ll be available to care for your furry friends throughout the week. Additionally, I also go to school full time, however, I don’t have classes until noon and get done at 4pm, leaving plenty of time before and after for pet care. I’m a very strict rule follower, and will never do anything to put your pet in danger. Your house-your rules, and I follow that deeply.
“Lex was excellent, she took care of Mr Magnificat and kept us up to date on his behavior and wellbeing. She was very responsive and communicative, it was a great experience working with her”

“I am so grateful to have Jessie as my go-to cat sitter. She is quick at responding to messages and has excellent communication and problem solving skills. It is nice knowing that my cats are getting quality attention and stimulation when she goes to visit them. Thank you so much Jessie!”

“Alyssa is awesome! I'm so glad we found her. She came to walk our dog, Blue, while we were at work and then she took care of him while we were out of town. She did a great job and was super pleasant and easy to work with.”

About: Hi! I’m an experienced animal lover with 1 year of hands-on experience working at a dog daycare, plus years of caring for my own 4 dogs. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and personalities and always make sure pets feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. I treat every pet like they’re my own! Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because caring for animals has already been a big part of my life for years. I currently work full time and have experience working at a dog daycare, along with caring for my own 4 dogs every day. My goal is to eventually make pet sitting my full-time career, so I’m dedicated to building strong relationships with both pets and owners while providing reliable, loving care I care for pets in their own home by keeping them comfortable and sticking to their normal routine as closely as possible. I make sure they’re fed on schedule, have fresh water, get plenty of exercise, attention, playtime, potty breaks, and lots of love while their owners are away. I also keep the home clean and make sure pets feel safe, relaxed, and cared for in their familiar environment

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Henderson. On Rover:
- 93% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 97% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
