“Taylor was wonderful! My girls usually aren’t too keen on new people, but they warmed to her immediately! She was very responsive while we were away, providing lots of photos and updates giving us great peace of mind. She also took care of our guinea pigs wonderfully making sure an abundance of water and hay! We will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Rene was amazing in her communication and how she cared for Julie while I was away. I’m so grateful for her genuine caring of making sure I received photos and updates throughout my time away. I definitely recommend Rene and have already rebooked her for another trip!”

“Izzy was perfect! Great communication from the first moment we reached out to her and throughout the visit, with the per visit updates and photos as well as whenever I reached out directly to ask how things were going. Also just a fun, friendly, and sweet person to take such great care of our Buster! Highly recommend!”

“Absolutely thankful for Taylor and Luke! They sent the best pictures while we were out of the country and were amazing! Our boys had a great time with Taylor and Luke. Highly recommend using them for any needs you have. Thank you, thank you! :)”

“Andrea was amazing in every way! When we met Andrea we could tell she was a fellow dog lover so that made us feel very comfortable going out of town knowing Andrea was taking such great care of our two dogs. I loved getting the visit updates and pictures! Andrea and the Rover website are great, I will definitely recommend it to all my family and friends.”

“Lex was excellent, she took care of Mr Magnificat and kept us up to date on his behavior and wellbeing. She was very responsive and communicative, it was a great experience working with her”

“Shelby was great! My cat is shy around new people and tends to hide under the bed when someone new comes over. But Callie came out from under the bed and engaged with Shelby over the 3 days she stopped in for check-ins! To me, that said a lot! :)”

About: I have always been the dog lover in my group of friends. Because of this, I have been the go to pet sitter in my group. Through them, they have recommended me to their neighbors, family and friends. I work from 7am-3:30pm Monday through Friday. I do have to go into the office. I am free during the evenings and the weekends with occasional obligations. I like to disclose plans I have so pet parents are aware of what I have going on. I care for pets in my client's home by allowing the pet to warm up to me. I give them space they need so they can acclimate to me and trust me. I also keep notes as to how much each animal eats, when to feed them, if they need medication, etc.
“Gretchen was amazing with our kitten! He’s very skittish around new people but hates being alone because he’s used to my husband and I working from home. Gretchen gained his trust on the first visit and sent us pictures of them playing every day. We felt so much better knowing he had someone to keep him company while we were away!”

“Melissa was wonderful!! Our puppy has not been around many people so gets a little anxious and barks when meeting someone new. Melissa was able to bond with Teddy and gain his trust. Most importantly, Teddy loved her!”

“Sydney is lovely & took great care of my two cats while I was away for a week. She gave detailed reviews after each visit along with pictures & videos. Grateful to have found a sitter I can trust!”

“Kaitlyn is so great with our kitties! We have three cats with very different personalities and one of them is also diabetic. She’s been so great helping us with them. Thank you so much Kaitlyn!”

“Pamela took such a great care of our 2 dogs while we were away. Took them for walks, hanged out with them, brushed them, and made sure they were ok during the day, checked on the water, even cleared the snow in the deck, so they can get easily out. Doing all of this and then keeping us updated in every visit, and letting us know details about their day, takes the worry out of you when you are out of town. We noticed our dogs were not as anxious as happened in previous times. Even she was watering my seedlings. I highly recommend her, and definitely we will book you again. Thank you, Pamela!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Todd Creek
Nicholas is beyond amazing for watching your pets! He went above and beyond for us! Our smoke alarm battery was low and beeping which stresses my dog out and without hesitation he changed it for us. You can tell he really cares for your pet as his own and we had full trust with him. It gave our family a piece of mind knowing our pets (2 dogs, a cat, and a fish) were being well taken care of. I would recommend him to anyone. Thanks so much Nicholas!

We had an amazing experience with Shelby. She was very communicative throughout our trip and went above and beyond when we ran into an unexpected issue with our locks and door access. Our cat was clearly very happy and comfortable with her, and I never worried about him during our long trip. She also took care of thoughtful extra details like wiping up litter on the floor and bringing in our packages. We’re so grateful for her care and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, attentive, and genuinely caring cat sitter.

Rene was great! She sent us reports daily, including photos of Charlie. I think she fell in love with our little fur baby. I mentioned to her that if she sat in one particular spot, he might come up to sit in her lap - and he did. Rene was absolutely wonderful and I wouldn't hesitate to hire her again or to recommend her to anyone looking for a cat sitter.
We had Mickayla check in on our cat Gumbo several times while we were out of the country for two weeks. She was easy to work with in setting up both a meet and greet, and regular visits, flexible with our schedule, and happy to give him affection in addition to cleaning out his box and refilling his food and water. She did a great job taking care of Gumbo while we were out (and even kept a couple of tropical plants in our house alive)! We would definitely use her again to watch Gumbo.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Todd Creek. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
