About: Hello!! My name is Monica, and I grew up around animals of all kinds! Dogs and cats have been a part of my life since the day I was born, and throughout the years I’ve found myself growing closer to these furry family members. I grew up on a ranch with horses, chickens, ducks, etc…and animal welfare has, and will always be, my number one priority. I’ve gained a lot of experience through my friends and family, who have trusted me with their pet to watch, sometimes just for a night out, and other times, for months. I am very experienced working with animal medication, and can ensure your pets needs are properly met. I’ve also worked with many animals (mostly dogs and cats) who may suffer from anxiety and/or behavioral issues. Navigating your pets needs can be difficult but I’m here to help! I currently work overnights at a part time position so I’ll be available to care for your furry friends throughout the week. Additionally, I also go to school full time, however, I don’t have classes until noon and get done at 4pm, leaving plenty of time before and after for pet care. I’m a very strict rule follower, and will never do anything to put your pet in danger. Your house-your rules, and I follow that deeply.

Evenings & Weekends: My schedule is wide open for dedicated walks, extended playtime, and overnight care. My flexible setup allows me to offer the perfect balance of consistent daytime check-ins and focused evening companionship! Because I provide care in your home, my top priority is maintaining your pet's established routine while ensuring your house remains secure, clean, and respected. To ensure a safe environment for your furry family member: #1 - I will treat your home with the utmost care. I follow all instructions regarding alarm codes, key placement, locking up, and mail/package collection. You will return to a home exactly as clean as you left it. #2 - Due to my flexible hybrid schedule, your pet will never be left alone for long stretches. I closely adhere to your exact instructions. #3 - When taking large dogs or energetic puppies outside, safety is non-negotiable. I am fully experienced with different types of gear (harnesses, gentle leaders, crates) and always keep a firm, confident grip. I also practice defensive walking—keeping a close eye out for off-leash dogs, wildlife, or triggers to prevent any incidents. #4 - I know how hard it is to be away from your pets! You will receive regular photo updates and text check-ins so you always know exactly how your pet is doing.

Dogs are my passion and would love your fur baby/babies to wiggle their way into my life. I live close to the airport so you can drop off your fur baby/babies with me and head out on your worry-free endeavor. I’m currently part-time and will try to accommodate as best I can. I would love to dog sit all day every day. I know this would be my best full time job ever. I have a fenced in yard with open space in our backyard. I have food and water dishes for them, toys, dog beds and blankets. Unless they prefer their own, I’m ready for them to run my home.
