About: I have a passion for animals of all kinds and love providing them with care, attention, and affection they deserve. I’m a pet parent to two dogs, two guinea pigs, a crested gecko and a betta fish. So I understand that every pet has certain needs and personalities. I’ll care for them as if they are my own. Pet sitting is my job so I’m available anytime throughout the day or night for your pets needs. I would love to help out anyway I can. I have a vehicle ready for any emergency’s. Im more than happy to send updated photos! I’m not boarding but I will travel for your pets needs.
“Shelby was great! My cat is shy around new people and tends to hide under the bed when someone new comes over. But Callie came out from under the bed and engaged with Shelby over the 3 days she stopped in for check-ins! To me, that said a lot! :)”

“Rene was an incredible sitter for our cat, and no doubt the same would be true if she had watched our dog. She is by far the best sitter we’ve had since we’ve lived in Colorado. Extremely communicative and really went the extra mile while we were out of town. Thank you, Rene!!!”

“Finding Samantha has changed my life. Before, my beloved (fussy, anxious) dog had become such a tricky issue that I couldn't really travel without him. Now, after a year and a half, Samantha has become a crucial part of our setup. Trustworthy up the kazoo, kind and warm, she connects deeply with pets and has many years of professional experience working with them. My dog howls with joy when she comes. And I can head off knowing that he's utterly safe and happy in her care. Thank you Rover and Samantha! I ouldn't be more grateful.”

About: I am familiar with hunting dog breeds in training and behavior. I am also familiar with small breed dogs. I have trained my Wirehair pointer to hunt and have a Puggle that loves to snuggle. They are both high energy and I know how to get it all out. I am very hands on with them and supervise all activities. I am currently working a day job and will be available after 2:30pm. I can do overnight stays and visits if needed. I am available anytime during the weekends. I have a privacy fenced back yard and a chain link fenced front yard. My dogs are not allowed in the front yard without supervision as my large dog could jump the fence. The back yard has a doggy pool for hot summer days! Again all activities in the yard or house are monitored.
“We really enjoyed having Stephanie watch our boy. She was very communicative and responded quickly. She sent us photo updates which was great. We will definitely use her again.”

“Sydney is lovely & took great care of my two cats while I was away for a week. She gave detailed reviews after each visit along with pictures & videos. Grateful to have found a sitter I can trust!”

“Another great experience with Megan caring for my dog. I would have a very hard time finding someone who would take such good care of him and that he would be so comfortable with.”

“Harley is amazing! She took care of my house and my cat while I was gone for a week. It took him a while to warm up to a new sitter, but Harley was incredibly patient and kind and let him have his feelings until he was comfortable. Thank you for everything!”

About: Like many, I grew up with a dog. But now I have the joy of training my own sweet 3yr golden as my own service animal. She is a certified Canine Good Citizen with public access. Since I know how to read dogs and work with them consistently, I always incorporate training and good habits into a walk. I’m currently walking for one client right now and I’d love to walk more regular puppers! Last year I also helped care for a house with three dogs (one was a Cane Corso), a cat, an aquarium, and a bearded dragon, so multiple, even large, animals don’t throw me off. It can be hard to trust someone else to care for your furry companions, so I look forward to the opportunity to make you feel comfortable and your pets feel loved and cared for! Feel free to reach out for a meet & greet first, so I can get to know you and your furry friend. I work part-time, so dog walks and drop-ins fit easily into my week. I’m currently walking for one regular client and have a lot of availability. Before I leave, I check that doors and gates are secure, confirm collar and leash fit, check ID tags, and make sure water is filled. I’ve worked with food motivated, play motivated, and praise motivated dogs, and adjust my approach to what works for each one. My walks stay consistent, using positive reinforcement, and allowing for plenty of “sniffari” time for enrichment. On days over 95F, I’ll swap the walk for a drop-in instead, to keep the dog safe from the heat.

About: I've been caring for dogs for 5+ years and have 3 years of professional boarding experience through Rover. My 3 year old Border Collie mix, Lyra, has been my best teacher. she's helped me learn how to manage high energy personalities, read canine body language, and understand what different dogs need to feel comfortable. Through working with various dogs and their families, I've developed a good eye for spotting anxiety triggers and helping nervous pups settle in. I'm a full-time architecture student at CU Denver with flexible availability for house sitting and dog walking. Since I split my time between Denver and Brighton, I can provide care in the Denver metro area. When I'm not in class, I'm fully available to give your pup my undivided attention, whether that's multiple potty breaks throughout the day, mid-day walks, or just hanging out on the couch during study sessions. Safety is my absolute top priority, which is why I believe in honest, open communication from the start. I know all dogs have their quirks, and that's completely okay! What matters is that I know about them upfront so I can create the safest, most comfortable environment for your pup. Before any booking, I'd love to chat about: Your dog's history with other dogs (any past incidents, even minor ones?) Triggers or situations that make them anxious or reactive Food, toy, or space guarding behaviors Crate training comfort level Any protective tendencies around their people For pullers, I encourage positive reinforcement with treats and such, it makes walks way more enjoyable for both of us! I'll send you daily photo updates so you always know your pup is happy and safe. My goal is for you to feel like you're leaving your dog with someone you completely trust.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Brighton
Aiden did a wonderful job taking care of our kitties and our house while we were away for 2 weeks! He was so conscientious and great with communication and really cares. We are so appreciative and will definitely rebook. I can’t recommend him enough. Thank you Aiden!!!

We had an amazing experience with Shelby. She was very communicative throughout our trip and went above and beyond when we ran into an unexpected issue with our locks and door access. Our cat was clearly very happy and comfortable with her, and I never worried about him during our long trip. She also took care of thoughtful extra details like wiping up litter on the floor and bringing in our packages. We’re so grateful for her care and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, attentive, and genuinely caring cat sitter.

Amber took great care of my 2 cats. She followed any special instructions and even did little sweet extras while she was caring for my fur babies. She was very communicative and sent pics of them looking relaxed and happy! My piece of mind while gone was great because everything went so smoothly and we were gone almost 10 days. Amber was reliable, did what she said she would do and easy to work with. Would definitely book her again!!!!!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
