“Great choice with Nicole! She took care of my 2 cats for 3 days while I was out of state. She sent me photos and gave me updates. We will definitely re-book her again!”

“Shauna was amazing! She stopped by to meet my pups beforehand and they were acting like a crazy duo. However, it was ALL out of love. They know good people, and Shauna was it. She took such amazing care of my sweet pups. I would highly recommend Shauna and would 100000% request her again in the future. Thanks again, Shauna!”

“Claire did an outstanding job taking care of Mochi for two days in a row. She was incredibly professional, responsible, and attentive throughout the entire time. She kept me updated regularly, followed all instructions carefully, and gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. It was clear that she genuinely cared about Mochi and made sure he was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. I would absolutely trust Claire with Mochi again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter.”

“Jessica is awesome, she is my go-to person for all my pet related needs, I am a repeat customer. She watched my 3-month old golden and took great care of him for a few hours. She gave him plenty of exercise and snuggles. She’s great with my pups and very responsive & dependable. Her communication is fantastic. I highly recommend her!”

About: Hi! My name is Marion. I have always loved dogs, and have one lovely pup of my own, Summit. She is the tan dog in the photos. She is 7 years old, and very dog friendly. She loves to play, but knows boundaries and is happy to cuddle on the couch as well. I have a very large, high-fenced yard that is great for the dogs, and I also walk my dogs 2x daily and take them to the dog park or open space 1-2x per week. I am a runner, so I could gladly run with your dog if you would like. Dogs of all sizes are welcome in my home! I grew up with Great Danes and am very comfortable around big dogs, and my house is very open so there is a lot of room. I look forward to meeting you and your doggos! I am experience with senior and medical pets as well and am comfortable caring for your medically needing fur babies. Behavioral issues or nervous dogs don’t scare me, I have fostered 50+ dogs over the years and am happy to be accommodating. I work from home 90% of the time and am only gone from the home for 2-4 hours at a time to visit my clients. I have a furbo in my home to check in on dogs when I am not at home, and can make my schedule work for someone needing 24/7 observation as long as I have notice. I have multiple spaces in my home if our dogs need to be separated as well.
“Adriana is wonderful. I’m so glad we found her. Having her come by the house to check on our boys has been such a relief and a game changer. I can tell by her pictures that the cats really do love her. They don’t let just anybody pet them!”

“This was our second time having AJ look after our dog. AJ was again great with our two dogs. They both really liked her. It was our new dog Lucy's frist time being watched by AJ. Lucy loved AJ and was AJ's new buddy. We will definitely use AJ again and recommend them to anyone needing a pet sitter. AJ communicated through out the day with us. It's nice being able to leave the dogs and know they were being well cared for.”

“Matthew was incredibly attentive to all of our critters needs and even took our pup for a little extra long walk. He is very pleasant and communicative which was so helpful for our last minute booking. I would recommend him without hesitation!”

“Zoe & Ava did a great job watching our 3 cats for a week while we were traveling internationally. During one of their visits they found an issue with one of our feeding devices. They communicated the issue well and were able to resolve it promptly! I would recommend!”

“This is the first time we’ve really had someone outside the family watching our dogs. Lauren was great from day 1c super responsive, exceptional professionalism and reliability. Our dogs love her. Highly recommend Lauren. She’s someone you can trust.”

“Rachael was amazing with our Leo and he was extremely happy when we returned. She was very responsive and sent us the cutest photos. We would absolutely love to book with her again!”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
