I'll prefer to keep my visit as low stress as possible. If your kitty hides, I will do a head count and make sure they are doing okay without stressing them out. If your kitty is social, we will spend the majority of my visit playing and getting out thay stored up energy. I can usually win over every kitty I've met.

We will go over your kitty's schedule - are they on mealtimes or not, are they on medications, do they get treats, do they like catnip, allergies, medical issues, vet for emergencies, a number for a back up person in town in case you are out of town.
A typical day
With cats you've gotta follow their lead. If they want to play, we will play - if they are lap kitties, we can chill. I'll typically brush them if the cats are cool with it. I bring my own laser pointer, in case one isn't available. I like to provide some sort of physical and mental stimulation to break up the anxiety/boredom of being home alone.

Pet care experience
I'm a cat lady! I've got my own squad of black kitties and a classic tabby. My experience as a foster has given me exposure to different kitties, personalities and challenges. I understand boundaries, respect their space, and treat all kitties like my own.
