Trustworthy, Reliable Dog Buddy

Did you get a pandemic puppy? With more people returning to the office, we have to worry about our dog's well-being while we're away. That's where we come in! I can do a drop-in to visit your dog for treats and a potty break, get your dog out for a walk in the middle of the day, or take your dog for a few hours of daycare. I am here to help both you and your puppy transition to a different normal! Dogs are my favorite people. I have worked with dogs from a young age, helping train our two family dogs when I was 10, and dog-sitting for family friends for years. After high school I took two gap years to work, during which time I got a job at Cottonwood Kennels. This allowed me to work with hundreds of dogs of all personalities, and also gave me experience helping dogs with a variety of health issues. I've worked with a dog with a tracheotomy, a narcoleptic dog, and senior dogs with fragile, wobbly legs. In my own life I've also had a diabetic dog, and recently cared for my dog through a valiant year-long battle with cancer. I am able to help in any way if your dog has specific medical needs. I have a dog and cat, both of whom are great at meeting new dogs, but I do need to know if your dog has a high prey drive - we cannot take chances. My house has a fully fenced yard, and I take long walks twice a day. I would love to meet your beautiful dog, and help you make its life even better!

Em went above and beyond any of my expectations! This was our first time hiring someone to take care of our doggos while we were away and I was a little nervous. Em always sent many pictures and our dogs were well taken care of and properly spoiled! When we got home they weren’t anxious or upset and it was so nice to know they had a good time too! I absolutely highly recommend Em for your doggy family and will be using her again! Thank you ❤️❤️❤️

Em is very accommodating for the dogs, especially with their specific dietary needs. They had a great weekend stay with her. We will keep her at the top of our list for next time. Thanks!

Bailey turned out to be a lot to handle. But she was great with him.

Schedule

Dogs are my daily work. I'm up early to care for boarders, and for drop-ins, walks, group play sessions, and training. I work from home, so I'm able to be around for for daycare and boarding, and all my dogs get lots of play and exercise.

Safety, trust & environment

I have a large fenced yard, a dog-friendly house, and a life centered around providing the best care for other people's pets. My boarders are part of the family, joining me for walks, and sleeping in the bedroom with me and my pets. I have crates for dogs who do better with confinement, and tons of blankets, beds, and even a pet heating pad for the colder days.

A typical day

Every dog's stay is taylored to their specific needs. Some dogs need a ton of play time and exercise, and some dogs need an easy walk, and lots of time to sleep in a sun beam.
