“Adriana was great! She helped us out on such short notice when our regular sitter quit. She came for a drop in visit and even when our pup was nervous, she was calm and patient with him until he was comfortable. We would definitely love to have her walk our boy again in the future”

“Andrea was great! She was very attentive to our pet and her updates were detailed. She seht us more messages than she had to and really cared. I would absolutely book her again!”

“Jessica was wonderful with our two elderly dogs! We were a bit concerned about leaving them for the weekend because they do have accidents due to age and one of our dogs has difficulty navigating our house. Jessica came over for a meet and greet before watching our boys, she was so kind and you can tell she truly loves dogs. Jessica provided regular updates to let us know our doggies were doing okay. She made sure to give them some extra love and attention and made sure they got outside. We came home to our house just as we left it and we really appreciate her flexibility regarding the older dog's accidents.”

“Nicole took great care of our two kitties while we were gone for 2 weeks for our wedding! She left very detailed notes each time, making me feel at ease! Thanks so much!”

“We had Jessica take care of our 2 dogs while we were gone for the weekend. She was wonderful with communication and updates and even washed the food containers we had left for the dogs! She really goes above and beyond and her services are much appreciated!”

“Katrina was wonderful with our 120 pound pup. We have never used Rover before and were a bit nervous. But Katrina made it easy and we and our pup felt great leaving him in Katrina’s care!”

About: I have been a devoted cat and dog owner for many years and have medical experience from my late cat which included glucose testing, IVs, and insulin injections. My husband and I whole-heartedly believe our pets are our family and we're the ones living in their castle. Therefore, your pets will be treated like the kings and queens that they are. My husband and I usually tag team pet sitting, we have opposite schedules so usually someone can always be around if not the both of us! We have a small fenced yard and our pup is bell trained due to us having strictly indoor cats. Any special routines you have in your home we will be sure to follow.
“Jessica did a fantastic job with my two cats. She administered my cat, Peanut's meds like a pro. She sent pictures and communicated after every visit. It was a great comfort to me to know that they were being well taken care of and loved by Jessica.”
“Holly always goes above and beyond for our cats- she opens and closes window shades so they can enjoy the view, turns on their toys, cleans their feeders, etc. We trust her completely and the cats adore her!”

“Melissa was so kind, understanding and reliable. She helped me with a pick up drop off and really made my vacation possible by helping me ensure my baby was safe and sound! I couldn’t recommend her more. So glad to have found her!”

“Rachel took great care of our two active cats during a long holiday trip. It was the longest we left them alone and I was nervous. They seemed happy and well-fed and I was relieved to know that they were in good hands. I would recommend Rachel to anyone!”

“Jenny was an absolute angel! I received full reports with pics daily. She was always on time. Extremely knowledgeable about dogs. Easy to communicate with. I had a sick dog that needed medicine and she had no problem administering it. The pups loved her. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Will be using again soon. Thanks Jenny!!!”

“Daniel does a great job with the pups, and we're absolutely booking again so we dont have to worry about them when we're at work. Also, the guy takes some awesome pictures of them on the walks!”

“Cole is kind, conscientious and reliable. Prior to starting, he came over to meet us to make sure that he and my dog were compatible companions. His visits allow my dog to get outside for a bit during the day while I’m at work, which allows me to do my job without the stress or anxiety of worrying about my dog and constantly having to rush to leave/return as soon as possible. Grateful to have his help and appreciate that he is so awesome!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Erie
Jessica sent a photo every day showing how Jasmine was doing, which was a comfort to us, as she is a 17 year old cat. And she was very consistent about the timing of her visits, which was the best thing for Jasmine, knowing that she would be fed and see someone consistently. We are very happy with Jessica and will gladly rebook her again.

Danielle took care of our two cats and did an amazing job - refilled their food, scooped litter and gave one of my cats her daily medicine. We will definitely be using her again the next time we take a trip. It really gives me peace of mind knowing I have someone taking such great care of my cats while I'm away.

Best sitter ever! So glad we found Brittany. She did a great job with our two cats, both of which are very shy and finicky. She also was an excellent communicator, sending pictures and videos and keeping us informed on how our two girls were doing. We can’t recommend Brittany enough, she’s been an excellent cat sitter.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
