“Don't hesitate, book with Chelsea! Highly recommended! We've used Chelsea twice now, and she is always extremely quick to respond, flexible, and great with our two kitties. They both love her, even our shy girl! This last visit was very last minute when a family member flaked on us, and Chelsea responded within minutes to our request. It was last minute, on the weekend, and she still agreed to come (late in the evening!) to make sure our babies were fed and cared for. We highly appreciate knowing we have someone reliable to count who our cats love as well. Thank you Chelsea!”

“Robyn was amazing! She was quick to communicate and flexible with my last minute request. I’ll definitely reach out again, as I felt my animals were in great care.”

“Danielle was fabulous with our cat Nala!! Took care of her so well and provided so many lovely photos while we were away! She answered so quickly and got there at the provided hours :) I can’t recommend her enough! She’s so friendly and excellent with communication. Had some last minute maintenance issues and she helped us move some things in our apartment with no sweat! 10/10 would book again!”

“We are so thankful to have Becky to stop by periodically to check on our pups when we get really busy! It is so great to know that she is practiced with anxious dogs and has a lot of knowledge of and patience for challenging dogs!”

“Jennifer did a great job taking care of our 2 dogs. We asked her last minute to watch our dogs for Christmas Eve and Christmas Morning and she was so accommodating with our needs! She gave me great feedback after her visits and was very sweet. She made sure to ask all the right questions before coming over to ensure she fully knew what she needed to do. We definitely will be using her in the future!”

“Grant did a fantastic job checking in and playing with my cat. Thorough and timely communication, lots of photos, and my cat was happy and cared for. Will work with Grant again for sure.”

“Rachael is amazing- she is prompt, courteous, communicative, knoweldgable and so sweet with our 11 week old Chocolate Lab. She has taken wonderful care of her, helped her adjust to her crate with lots of extra help that she went out of her way to do. We trust her in our home and would 100% recommend and will use her again. Thank you so much, Rachael :) - Charlie & The Gibbs”

“Brenda really cares and enjoys spending time with animals. She was amazing with our 12 week old pup. She picked up after him and made sure he was cared for while we were at work.”

“Margie was so great with Rocky. She was communicative and clearly loves dogs. She is attentive to details too. She is a dog lover. Highly recommend her. Will use her again for sure. Already booked her for this coming week.”

“We love Megan! We had to do a last minute rebooking, and she was very accommodating. Came back from camping to find a very happy kitty. We would happily book with her again. :)”

“Alyson was so wonderful to work with and so attentive! She took such great care of my little dog while I was away. I will definitely be contacting her again in the future!”

“Ashley took such great care of my cat while I was away! She provided photos, videos, and text updates every day. I will definitely rebook and would recommend her to anyone looking for someone to check in on their cats.”

About: I have taken care of dogs and other pets my whole life. I’m kind, patient, and willing to go the extra mile to ensure your baby is comfortable and happy. I work a flexible hybrid job, so I can work from “home” two days a week. I will also block out time after work to take care of your fur baby, as well. I have a gated dog park and a super friendly dog that lives with me to keep your pet company. Or if you prefer to have your dog not interacting with others, the dog that lives with me is crate trained, too.
About: I have taken care of my own dog for 8 years now as well as dog sat for multiple friends and family . I am a super active person who always loves taking my own dog on fun walks and adventures . As a pet owner i know how important it is to find someone to trust with you’re pet , I would love to help out :) I am also a avid runner so if your little furry friends need a running partner i would be glad to help out :)) i am available during the week part time for walks or sitting. If interested in needing a dog sitter i am always available on weekends My home does provide a fluffy pup as well as a fenced in area. I also have many trails in my neighborhood that i love to take my own dog on which i’m sure your pet would love too :) I am very passionate about keeping your pets active as well as making sure they are taking care of in every other aspect
About: I’ve been taking care of pets (from dog-sitting, to dog-walking, to simply caring for my own dog daily) my whole life! I grew up with a big 110 pound lab and have always been a dog lover! I have supported many people throughout my community such as family-friends, co-workers, and people here on Rover by walking, feeding, and playing with their pets while they’re gone! I always make my goal to help make your pets as comfortable and happy as possible while you are gone! I’m home in Colorado for the summer, working at a clinic, which should allow me to take your pups out in the morning, during my lunch break and at night after work! It will also allow me to spend the night and make sure your dogs are safe and comfortable! I love playing outside with dogs, whether that entails going on a walk or playing fetch in the backyard! I will also prioritize making sure that your pet is safe and happy - meaning I’ll feed him/her on time, take them on good walks to help get their energy out, and can put them in crate if that’s what you usually do! I am very flexible and want to keep a stable environment for your pet!

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Superior
We had a great experience with chastity watching our cat Darcey. Everything went very smoothly, she communicated great while we were away and took great pictures of our cat so we knew she was being taken care of. There were zero issues I would love for chastity to be my rover again, thanks!!
Madeleine was awesome with our cat Cloud! His attitude can change day to day but she took it in stride and I think he even warmed up to her by the end. She clearly knows how to care for (and deal with) cats - this was shown even more when I got home to find that she had taken out the litter trash, cleaned all the food bowls, and refilled both the litter and his water fountain when I never asked her to do any of that! She was always communicative from the first meeting to the last check in with Cloud. Booking her was the best decision!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
