About: I have always been somewhat of a dog whisperer. Love getting to know each of their personalities and learning their routines, coming down to their level gain trust and form a relationship. I enjoying getting outside and making sure they can get their exercise. I’m a cellist, so most of my days are spent practicing and going to rehearsals/teaching in the larger Boulder area. Most of my mornings are very free. I love going on walks with dogs, taking them to the dog park and socializing them with other dogs, using positive reinforcement to form and maintain good habits and everything in between. Care in your home is also important to me. I want to make sure you can have piece of mind that not only will you pet be taken care of but your home as well.
“This was our first time leaving our three cats home alone, and Holly and Marc gave us a lot of confidence that they would be well cared for. They spent extra time with our kitties to make sure they were okay, including some tricky care for our special needs older cat. Fantastic communication and adorable photos aplenty as well. Thank you again!”
“I've gone back to Lauren several times to care for my cats, and she is always dependable and a great pet sitter. I feel like my cats are in great hands when she watches them!”

About: I've had pets of many species my entire life. Dogs, cats, snakes, horses, and some farm animals. 13yr Mali mommy from pup to death. Our guy just passed last summer from cancer so I've had quite a lot of experience with administering medication and senior incontinence. He was also military trained and service certified as a pup. Currently doing this full time ! Already have a couple of regulars, so we would work scheduling out as long as your needs fit around ongoing clients. I prefer to care for pets in the owner's home, but willing to board well-behaved and well-trained pets that get along with cats. When I'm at your home, I dedicate my time to being with your pet a majority of the booking and will treat your home and your pets as my own. We would keep any regular schedules to maintain your pets' routines, with plenty of enrichment and cuddle time. I'm also happy to water plants, take out trash, and assist with any other little things around the house for longer bookings.

About: I have been a dedicated animal caretaker since my childhood beginning with my first pet, Spot a labrador retriever. Today I combine that lifelong passion with professional discipline as a current Denver Zoo volunteer and a recent graduate in Evolutionary Biology and Ecology. My background allows me to provide expert care for pets of all breed and life stages, from high-energy puppies to seniors with specific needs. I am committed to maintaining a safe, enriched, and reliable experience for your pets, applying the same high standards of well-being I use at the zoo to your own home. Pet care for me fits well within my schedule as my shifts at the zoo are flexible. This allows me to dedicate time to your pets for long walks, check-ins, or attentive house sitting. I'm available to ensure your pet maintains their consistent feedings, exercise schedule, or other needs. As a volunteer at the zoo and an EBIO graduate, I follow professional and strict safety protocols in my home and yours. I have a large condo allowing some space for your pet to roam, but I am very active with the outdoors thus fulfilling enrichment to hyper-active pets. I am habituated to monitor animal behavior closely, double-checking harnesses and leashes whenever going on walks, and ensuring a safe environment that meets high standards of well-being.

“Grant did a fantastic job checking in and playing with my cat. Thorough and timely communication, lots of photos, and my cat was happy and cared for. Will work with Grant again for sure.”

“Hanna did an amazing job checking in on my dog and cat with my last minute check-in request. Followed my instructions to a T and left the house in great shape. They also went above and beyond, taking care of our foster dog esp. with some complicated health stuff/instructions. Great communication. Will rebook again in the future.”

About: Attention to detail and my availability will lead to satisfied clients. I’m also pretty fit and can keep up with some of the more agile dogs. I have a flexible schedule so adding this will be a great fit. Plus, I’ll enjoy spending more time with animals, a life goal of mine. I will take care of animals in their home according to the details left by the owners. I will clarify all questions with said owners

About: Friend of all doggos. I've recently had 2 Italian Greyhounds - Lu (17) and Gelato (15) that were my best buds. Always looking to make friends with new pups. I work during the day, but am available weekday evenings. I’m also available all day during the weekends and most holidays. I had 2 Italian Greyhounds for a span of 18 years and can’t wait to meet your pup(s). I can come to your place for walks and visits. I don’t currently have plans to sit for other pets in my own home as I’m in the process of renovating.
“Cole helped make our first Rover experience a positive one! While traveling it helps keep us at ease knowing our pets are cared for so well. Thanks for the photos and extra long walk.”

About: I’ve been around dogs and cats ever since I was born, and have continued to surround myself with them into my adult life. I frequently help out at shelters and have recently branched out to start cat and dog-sitting. I also have two feline friends of my own, who I have had for around three years now :) I take care of my cats throughout the day (feeding, cleaning, and playing with them). This is easy to fit into my work schedule as I work remotely. And with this added flexibility, comes the ability to look after other pets as well! I have plenty of of experience dog and cat sitting, and like to spend lots of time with the animals I stop in to look after. I’m responsible when it comes to feeding pets strictly what the owner says and respect any rules they put in place regarding their pets. I’m readily available to chat over the phone and am happy to send update pictures throughout the day.
About: I have had dogs and cats while growing up on a farm. Most recently I had two heelers. I would be happy to take care of your pet. I have a full time job so I'm doing this part time. Right now I am working remotely so I will have plenty of time to care for and interact with your pet. I live in a small condo with an unfenced outdoor space and a lake nearby. I am reliable and would be happy to drop in to check on your pets or house/pet sit while you're away. Please let me know if your pet has any health or behavior issues which need special attention.

About: I’ve been dog sitting for neighbors and friends for as long as I can remember. I understand that all pets have different needs and routines, and I’m happy to work with you to make sure they’re comfortable, happy, and well cared for while you’re away! I am working as a hairstylist in Louisville, and my schedule allows for lots of flexibility during weekdays to give your pups lots of attention! I always follow your care instructions closely, respect your pet’s routine, and provide a calm, loving environment while they’re in my care. Although I don’t offer boarding in my home, I’m committed to making your pet feel safe and comfortable in their own familiar surroundings.
About: When I was younger I used to dog sit for my neighbors when they went on vacation. I can walk, feed, bath and administer medication to your dog if needed. I also have and have taken care of reptiles also. I have an American Bully mix at home that is 6 years old and a 8 month old staffy/pit mix as well. I am currently a full time student online so I am flexible with my time. I do work Tuesday nights so those days I normally have blocked out. I cannot do overnights due to having my own two dogs but can do drop ins and walks. I always take dogs out on a leash and know how to handle dogs who don’t get along with other animals. I also don’t leave dogs unattended in the back yard. I have a crate trained dog so I also know how to handle that as well. One of my dogs is dog aggressive so I am very capable of handling and caring for dogs who are dog aggressive.
About: Caring for pets with different needs comes naturally to me. In addition to life with my own fur babies, I've been sitting for neighbors' pets since I was a kid, fostered dogs from local rescues, and been a Rover sitter to get my "dog fix" when I was between pups. I've helped raise litters of puppies from birth and volunteer with the boxer rescue, walking and spending time with dogs waiting for their forever homes. Between all of it, I understand routines, exercise needs, and the quiet reassurance anxious or senior dogs often need. Taking great care of every home I'm in means a lot to me too. I'm happy to retrieve mail, water plants, and take care of those odds and ends you need while you're away. I'm local to Louisville and work from home, so whether I'm coming to your place for drop-ins and sits or hosting your dog at mine, they'll get plenty of attention and rarely be left alone for long. At home, we have a fenced yard (about 5 feet) for outside time, and if your dog needs their crate, just send it along with them. My daughter is usually in school during the week, but if a visit falls outside school hours, she may tag along and give your dog some extra love. Dogs get plenty of attention whether we're at your home or mine. I keep a close watch outside so nobody gets into anything they shouldn't. If I'm out running errands during a stay at my place, your dog will be crated for their safety. Our home stays tidy, and we have a gate to close off certain areas when needed. Furniture time is case by case, just let me know if your dog is allowed on the couch. My husband and daughter are often around too, so your dog may get some extra love from them. We also have our own dog, Gabi. She's 2, medium energy, and loves to play, but does best with dogs who are good with her too. Meet & greet required before stays at my place..
About: I've worked mostly with working dog breeds to see if they'd be a good fit as a service dog for disabled veterans or autistic children. I work from home and am available all day Monday through Saturday! Please reach out for specific needs and I would he happy to discuss! In a client's home I'd be sure to respect the environment as much as possible. Cleaning up after accidents and always having a leash for when I go outdoors with the clients animal. I'd ideally like to leave the area better than I found it.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Superior
Lauren is great. Had another rover walker recommend her to me. I have a dog selective pitbull, so it can be hard to find the right person to trust her with on walks. Lauren has her plenty of experience with this, so in one my dog was in good hand with her. Will absolutely book her again to take care of my doggy. Thank you so much!!

Robyn is such a sweet and calm person. She asked great questions and followed the instructions very well for my dog, who is still recovering from a partial ligament tear. She also spent time outside with Kai, which he really enjoyed. I would definitely book with her again! 😊
Charlie helped us out with a last minute booking for our 2 dogs and 2 cats. He was very responsive and great at relaying info to us about what was going on. He was also great with the animals. One of our dogs, who is wary around, even came around somewhat by the end of our trip. We will be booking with Charlie again in the future!

This is the 2nd time I have used Emily to watch my guys while I have been away for an extended period of time and just like the first it was great. My guys were very happy and comfortable with her, which means a lot to me. She sent a TON of pictures and videos while I was away of them which really was appreciated so I could see how they were doing. She is my first choice for pet sitting when I need it.
Danielle was great with Rumi! She was very responsive and spent quality time during our meet and greet, which I really appreciated. Rumi is a senior dog, and Danielle was very caring and attentive to his needs. She was also flexible with timing, which made everything easy. I felt very comfortable having her care for Rumi and would absolutely book with her again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
