About: I have been a dedicated animal caretaker since my childhood beginning with my first pet, Spot a labrador retriever. Today I combine that lifelong passion with professional discipline as a current Denver Zoo volunteer and a recent graduate in Evolutionary Biology and Ecology. My background allows me to provide expert care for pets of all breed and life stages, from high-energy puppies to seniors with specific needs. I am committed to maintaining a safe, enriched, and reliable experience for your pets, applying the same high standards of well-being I use at the zoo to your own home. Pet care for me fits well within my schedule as my shifts at the zoo are flexible. This allows me to dedicate time to your pets for long walks, check-ins, or attentive house sitting. I'm available to ensure your pet maintains their consistent feedings, exercise schedule, or other needs. As a volunteer at the zoo and an EBIO graduate, I follow professional and strict safety protocols in my home and yours. I have a large condo allowing some space for your pet to roam, but I am very active with the outdoors thus fulfilling enrichment to hyper-active pets. I am habituated to monitor animal behavior closely, double-checking harnesses and leashes whenever going on walks, and ensuring a safe environment that meets high standards of well-being.

“Rebecca was amazing to have watch our two kitties while we were in New Zealand. She came every scheduled time, took pictures and loved our kitties like her own. I definitely recommend her if you need your pets watched!”

“Zoe & Ava did a great job watching our 3 cats for a week while we were traveling internationally. During one of their visits they found an issue with one of our feeding devices. They communicated the issue well and were able to resolve it promptly! I would recommend!”

“Michael goes above and beyond, he takes the time to learn about your pet and cares for them like ke he cares for his own. I i highly recommend Michael and his services and we'll definitely be using him again in the future”

“Samantha was professional, friendly and personable. She took extra great care of my pets!! I felt very at ease leaving her in charge. She went above and beyond. She took pics and sent a note everyday as well. I appreciate having had met such a caring sitter through Rover and will definitely contact again if she is available!”

“We have had Nikki pet sit a few times for a few days for our cat Joey and she has always been great. This time it was for 2 weeks and since Joey has many sides to his personality I was hoping he would be a cooperative cat. Nikki was great with him. He seemed to enjoy his time spent with her and he was very content when we got home. Nikki's communication was wonderful with detailed updates after each visit so I knew Joey was well taken care of. The house also looked great and all our mail and packages were taken in and plants cared for. We will definitely be having her pet sit again and highly recommend her.”

I'm comfortable following detailed care instructions, administering basic medications if needed, and keeping you updated with regular photos and messages so you always know how your pet is doing. As a college student, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide dependable and attentive care. I make time for timely check-ins, walks, play sessions, feeding schedules, potty breaks, and plenty of affection throughout the day. I prioritize consistency so pets can stick to their normal routine, helping them feel comfortable and reducing stress while their family is away. “Cole is kind, conscientious and reliable. Prior to starting, he came over to meet us to make sure that he and my dog were compatible companions. His visits allow my dog to get outside for a bit during the day while I’m at work, which allows me to do my job without the stress or anxiety of worrying about my dog and constantly having to rush to leave/return as soon as possible. Grateful to have his help and appreciate that he is so awesome!”

About: I’ve been around dogs from as early as I can remember, always going for walks or hikes with my own dogs or others’! I have experience taking care of senior dogs, dogs with health issues, and younger, more rambunctious dogs. I have experience taking care of and making homesick dogs feel more comfortable and safe when their family is gone. I’m always willing to welcome any and all dogs into my home and do my best to provide a home away from home, giving them all the love I can until their family comes home! I’m currently in school, however I’m only gone for three hours at a time, and am home for the night by 4 everyday giving me plenty of time to hang out and love on your pup, so they will never feel abandoned when you’re gone! I have a big, fenced in yard with plenty of room for your pup to roam, as well as plenty of room for them to wander around the house with it also being pet safe! I keep my house pretty clean so there’s not anything that your pup could easily get into helping make you feel comfortable and give you ease-of-mind allowing you to enjoy yourself on vacation or stay focused on whatever you’re doing while away!
“Charlie was great! He responded fast which was awesome because it was my 6 month old cat’s first time alone for a night. We came home and everything was just as we left it and he turned on lights for me that I forgot to leave on for the cat. He fed her and did everything we asked! I’ll definitely trust him to watch my kitty again!”

“Dani is so great with Jade! She took the time to ask me about Jade's needs and is so professional and caring. She has a lot of experience with dogs so I had no concerns having her walk my dog, who can pull sometimes. Great communication too!”

About: I’ve grown up around cats, dogs, and other animals my entire life, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I absolutely love spending time with dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities. I also volunteer at the Humane Society, where I’ve gained hands-on experience caring for animals and helping them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or shy and needing extra patience, I’ll make sure they receive plenty of attention, affection, and reliable care. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets, and I’ll always treat them like they’re part of my own family. My goal is to make sure your pets feel happy, safe, and loved while you’re away! I'm a student here at CU Boulder, and staying in town over the summer! I have a wealth of time everyday that I'm able to dedicate to taking care of your pets and taking your dogs on adventures! I only work part-time on Saturdays so my weekdays are fully free! I’m also very respectful of clients’ homes and always keep things clean, safe, and tidy while providing dependable care and regular updates so you can feel at ease while you’re away.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Superior
Charlie helped us out with a last minute booking for our 2 dogs and 2 cats. He was very responsive and great at relaying info to us about what was going on. He was also great with the animals. One of our dogs, who is wary around, even came around somewhat by the end of our trip. We will be booking with Charlie again in the future!

This is the 2nd time I have used Emily to watch my guys while I have been away for an extended period of time and just like the first it was great. My guys were very happy and comfortable with her, which means a lot to me. She sent a TON of pictures and videos while I was away of them which really was appreciated so I could see how they were doing. She is my first choice for pet sitting when I need it.
Danielle was great with Rumi! She was very responsive and spent quality time during our meet and greet, which I really appreciated. Rumi is a senior dog, and Danielle was very caring and attentive to his needs. She was also flexible with timing, which made everything easy. I felt very comfortable having her care for Rumi and would absolutely book with her again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
