About: I’ve owned 3 dogs over my life time and my parents just now adopted a 4th one I will be taking care of part time. Two of the boys passed at the same ages of 13 and Pete is now 11 doing great. Reggie is 15 weeks old and is the best boy in the world. I am free every day right now as I’m off from school for the semester. I can wrap my schedule around your and your pups needs. Morning, noon, or night I can be there. When it comes to taking care of other people’s dogs, I treat them as if they are my own. I make sure they are taken care of in any way I need to or feel needs to be done.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs big and small. Even some cats and will ensure your houseplants are alive and well too! I’d love to take your dogs out with me on adventures I am super free on weekends working a 7-4 Monday through Friday. My own dog gets two walks and two feedings with snack in between. She goes to the dog parks many times a week and the local neighborhood park is a minute away I have a townhome with 4 bedrooms and a basement where they can run free and be taken outside rather quickly where they can get exhausted at the neighborhood dog area.
About: I've had pets of many species my entire life. Dogs, cats, snakes, horses, and some farm animals. 13yr Mali mommy from pup to death. Our guy just passed last summer from cancer so I've had quite a lot of experience with administering medication and senior incontinence. He was also military trained and service certified as a pup. Currently doing this full time ! Already have a couple of regulars, so we would work scheduling out as long as your needs fit around ongoing clients. I prefer to care for pets in the owner's home, but willing to board well-behaved and well-trained pets that get along with cats. When I'm at your home, I dedicate my time to being with your pet a majority of the booking and will treat your home and your pets as my own. We would keep any regular schedules to maintain your pets' routines, with plenty of enrichment and cuddle time. I'm also happy to water plants, take out trash, and assist with any other little things around the house for longer bookings.

About: I’ve had pets my whole life, and have done a lot of overnight sitting/dog walking. I’m also super active so if pets need some extra exercise, that’s great. I’m super reliable, and a division 1 student-athlete so I have great time management. I’m home from Duke for the summer, so I’m almost completely flexible to fit in any pet care into your schedule! Happy to come by any time and go for a long walk, run, or whatever you need. I’m very comfortable with taking care of pets in the comfort of your home. I understand that different homes have different rules, and am very respectful of the different needs of each home. My main goals are to keep BOTH you and your pet happy.
About: I’ve cared for small dogs and cats my entire life and understand their unique needs and big personalities. Whether it’s playtime, cuddles, or a relaxing walk, I’m here to make sure your furry friend feels safe and loved. Your dog will be treated like family! Working from home gives me the flexibility to provide attentive and personalized care for your pet throughout the day. My schedule allows plenty of time for walks, play, and cuddles, ensuring your pet feels loved and well cared for. I’m available to adapt to your pet’s needs and keep them happy while you’re away. My home is their home! Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities, whether they’re in my home or yours. I create a secure and stress-free environment, giving them the care and attention they deserve. With years of experience and a deep love for animals, I strive to build trust and provide peace of mind for every pet owner. I am extremely responsive and am more than happy to send you photos/videos of your pet while you’re away. PS- your pet is more than welcome on all furniture :)
About: I started my pet care experience with taking care of my neighbors dogs when I was young, and I quickly fell in love with them. I have experience taking care of multiple types of dogs of varying ages. I am currently home for the summer and have a completely open schedule until August 10th! I am willing to work weekends and holidays if needed! Making sure pets are comfortable in their environment is an essential part of dog sitting. When taking care of one I believe it’s important to ensure the dog has everything it needs and receives proper attention and care!

About: You know when you’re out in public and your dog unexpectedly rushes straight over to say hi to a random (specific) person then needs to be physically pulled away even after they got the attention they wanted? For some reason, I’ve always been that random but specific person. Sometimes it feels like dogs suddenly materialize in front of me or like their “hello” is really more of a “it’s about time you got here!” Dogs (and cats, for that matter) also tend to insist on cuddling up next to me instead of their usual pick when I visit their homes (and I’m certainly not complaining). I currently only have cats, but I grew up with three dogs (a chocolate lab, a miniature schnauzer, and a Pomeranian) and have learned how to love both in the ways they want me to love them. What I love most about dogs is how pure they are. We all appreciate their undying loyalty, of course, but the sweet, unconditionally caring emotional presence that dogs carry themselves with is one of the things that makes life worth living. I consider non-human animals to be people too, and dogs are definitely among the best non-human animals. I would be just as excited as your dog(s) would be to make a new friend! My availability is flexible in general but particularly in terms of the time of day. I have a circadian rhythm difference that makes my sleep “schedule” change throughout each week, so if I’m given sufficient notice (48 hours), I’m easily able to modify my waking hours if your pet has time-sensitive needs. As mentioned in my bios, animals seem to naturally see me as a Disney princess. However, even though I’m very confident that I’ll get along with your pet(s) without any issues, their friendship is theirs to give, not mine to demand. Their needs are my top priority (and would be even if I weren’t petsitting); I recognize that some animals need lots of time and space to truly feel safe, and giving them that time and space is the only way to create a mutually comforting environment. Even if your dog/cat actually is insatiably social and unfailingly affectionate, I want to be sure that I get an idea of any individual boundaries or strong preferences beforehand so that I’m able to treat them with the same respect and care that I would a human person. As far as dogs and cats that want lots of love and affection, I am happy to give and share it! My cats sleep with me most nights and I often have one on my lap or next to my leg throughout a given day. Either way, I’ll follow your pet’s lead.
About: Since I was twelve I’ve been tending to my own animals which includes horses, dogs, cats and reptiles. Family, friends and people I met through them trusted me to take care of their pets in their homes since I was fifteen. I have worked in vet clinics all my life including one with exotic animals who needed special care including feeding habits, medication and physical therapy. Working through Rover is my full time job right now so I have a flexible schedule. I drop off my daughter at school at 8/8:30 in the morning and pick her up at 3:30. I don’t work Sundays due to church and family time but I am willing to discuss options. I live in an apartment so I’m not allowed to bring home animals but am more than happy to care for them in the comfort of the pets own home. However you want things done for your furry baby is how it will get done whether it’s feeding time, play time, medication or clean up I will always follow your instruction and do what’s best for the dog/cat.
About: We’re a family of four who loves caring for dogs. We have 2.5 acres, a fenced in yard, and give lots of TLC. Walks around the neighborhood and on trails too. My husband and I work from home and love going on walks. When the kids are home from school they dote on the animals a lot too. In the house, your dog is welcome to go where they please & feel most comfortable…which is often right by us. Feel free to bring their own dog bed or any blankets that remind them of home. We board no more than 2 dogs at once, and often it’s just one. The house is still a home. And your best buddy welcome anytime!
About: I trained my dog, Brady, to be off-leash and a great friend. I can help puppies with simple training while on leash or assist your older dogs with patient sniff walks. I work full time from home, but want to help neighbors who cannot always be home. I am available to assist in the afternoon before you come home from work or later in the evening if you decide to have dinner later than expected. I am respectful of your rules and will always be on time. Your pets needs are my concern. I take the time to get to know each dog’s unique personality and pace, making sure they feel safe, seen, and relaxed on every walk. With gentle handling, consistent routines, and plenty of praise, I build trust through calm energy and attentive care, just like you would.
About: I have over 10 years of personal experience caring for my own cat, which has taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and understanding animals’ individual personalities. In addition to feline care, I’ve also looked after guinea pigs during spring break, ensuring they had a clean habitat, fresh veggies, and plenty of gentle attention. I’ve cared for dogs belonging to family friends, helping with feeding, walks, and playtime, always making sure they felt safe and loved while their owners were away. I’ve also had the opportunity to watch over a variety of pets for a few hours at a time, adapting quickly to their needs and routines. No matter the species, I approach every pet with kindness, respect, and a genuine love for animals. I’m currently enrolled in online college courses, which gives me the flexibility to create a balanced and adaptable schedule. Since my classes are self-paced and remote, I’m available for pet care throughout the week—mornings, afternoons, and evenings. Typical Daily Routine: • Morning (8am–11am): Morning walks, feedings, litter box cleanings, or drop-in visits • Midday (11am–3pm): Pet sitting, extended playtime, companionship, or check-ins (can adjust as needed) • Afternoon/Evening (3pm–8pm): Walks, dinner feeding, medication (if needed), or overnight care setups • Night (8pm onward): Available for overnight care, evening check-ins, or late-night drop-ins (on request) Weekly Flexibility: I’m available 7 days a week and can adjust my schedule based on your pet’s needs—whether it’s a one-time drop-in, recurring walks, weekend sitting, or extended stays. My online classes allow me to stay local and dependable all summer long. Your pet’s comfort, routine, and safety always come first. I’m committed to providing reliable, loving care that fits smoothly into both of our routines. Why You Can Trust Me with Your Pet As a lifelong animal lover with over 10 years of experience caring for my own cat, as well as looking after dogs, guinea pigs, and a variety of other pets, I understand how important it is to feel confident in the person caring for your furry family member. Whether I’m welcoming pets into my home or caring for them in yours, I make safety, comfort, and reliability my top priorities. In Your Home: When I pet sit in your home, I respect your space and follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible. I keep things tidy, stick to feeding and walk schedules, and ensure your pet feels secure in their familiar environment. I also send regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and in good hands. Dog Walking: For dog walks, I always use secure leashes and harnesses and choose safe walking routes based on your dog’s size, energy level, and comfort. I take the time to build trust with each dog, making sure every walk is not just good exercise but also a positive experience. However, I own a cat who doesn’t like strangers or strange animal that come in her home With a flexible schedule and a genuine love for animals, I’m committed to giving your pet the same care and attention I’d give my own. You can trust that they’ll be safe, happy, and well cared for—whether it’s for an afternoon walk or a week-long stay.

“Holly was fabulous when we left our two young cats alone for an extended period for the first time. She gave them plenty of cuddles and all the food/water/litter they needed, and gave us plenty of cute photos and videos! The boys adore her and were delighted to chill in her lap and get belly rubs. She even cleaned up a mess one of them made on the floor with a soda can. Thank you as always!”

Superior dog parents share their Rover experiences
Becky went above and beyond caring for our animals while we were away. We recently moved and combined households, bringing our cat and two dogs together for the first time. Despite dealing with stressed and anxious pets, Becky took extra time to ensure their comfort and safety. We would trust her with our furry companions anytime, highly recommend her to others, and know she can handle any situation!

Ashley was amazing! Tuna is a 12 year old dog and she helped with medication and was consistently on time for all her walks and drop-ins. She updated the app for every walk and sent pictures. Very reliable and trustworthy. Also, helped with my thermostat when the weather dropped. Excellent communicator and would hire her again for the future!

Curtis is amazing, he communicates well and as often as the situation may demand. H e figures out what to do without bothering , but keeps you informed as to what is going on. Curtis cleaned up our pups's vomit the other night, and told me where it occurred so I could give the floor extra attention. Our pup is currently under the care of our vet. Cutis performed some pre-approved grooming on Winnie. Curtis is always up-beat and pleased to help.

This is the 2nd time I have used Emily to watch my guys while I have been away for an extended period of time and just like the first it was great. My guys were very happy and comfortable with her, which means a lot to me. She sent a TON of pictures and videos while I was away of them which really was appreciated so I could see how they were doing. She is my first choice for pet sitting when I need it.
Danielle was great with Rumi! She was very responsive and spent quality time during our meet and greet, which I really appreciated. Rumi is a senior dog, and Danielle was very caring and attentive to his needs. She was also flexible with timing, which made everything easy. I felt very comfortable having her care for Rumi and would absolutely book with her again.

Christina is the best Petsitter ever! She has an incredible love of animals and it shows in how quickly they bond with her, and how reluctant they are to say bye. She is well-versed in dog training and has been helping us with puppy breaks and training while we’re at work. Truly talented, reliable, communicative, and a joy to have as a Petsitter and pet advisor to us.
